I really enjoyed Pokemon Reborn as it was more of a challenge than your typical Pokemon game and i looked into your Pokemon Rejuvenation because it was based around Reborn and i've enjoyed what i've played so far. I have no complaints about the game nor any bugs to report but i'd like to ask if you could upload your game as .zip files as i'm a mac user and .rar is the only thing it can't open without additional software which i feel sceptical about downloading. i'm interested in being able to try the difficult setting so i can set it to hard, although i feel the default setting isn't too pushover i do like the aim of testing my knowledge and giving me something to think about when battling / catching pokemon for my team. i really enjoy the thing's you've added to the game. Ev training, jobs from the help centre (makes me think of the mystery dungeon games) and anything else inbetween. Since you've added in difficulty i was wondering if it was possible to build in challenge modes such as build in egglocke or nuzlocke etc. Though personally i would LOVE to see a Monotype challenge or maybe a Mono-Egg group challenge, something really unique and different i'm not sure if that'd be possible to add into the game or if it's something only players can set themselves to doing but it's an interesting thought to just put out there and see what your wonderful mind can try to turn it into. I believe that by the end of the game Rejuvenation will be up there with the highest rated Pokemon games to date. you've done a wonderful job with your current four releases so keep it up! Watched a few episodes of people playing it and thought to myself, well that is interesting. I'll have to try it out. I must say, well done. A very well done. The story is completely engrossing and I love the difficulty of it. Finally a game to really challenge players. It is refreshing. Although I have not played Reborn so I cannot comment on that particular game nor compare the two. A great job and I am looking forward to seeing the progression of this game. Just a couple of things. I am running Version 4.4 in Challenge mode and in the Rare Pokemon quest in Sheridan Village the NPC who is meant to be in the Gearen City Pokemart is not there. Is that still an ongoing issue? I was running V4 before but got stuck in the doorway with the TARDIS. I reverted to V3 to get out then later updated to V4.4, if that helps at all. Also in whatever Version you bring out next, please update the EV training centre! Pretty please? I've always had the habit of EV training Pokemon since Gen 3, so to have this function available has naturally spoiled me. And I am most grateful for it. I'd really like to request that SpA and SpD be put in.... Training Grimer as a Special Wall is a tad boring. Will EV reducing Items be introduced later? While in posting mode, you should see an option in the bottom right corner that says 'More Reply Options', click that. 2. (It'll get fixed later today!) As for the nuzlocke code, it's not specifically suzerain's code. It's a shared code on the Pokecommunity, so I can use it. I planned to as well (But it caused a certain pokeball glitch so idk) The EV center WILL expand, but not automatically. Doing future help requests will give you access to more floors. But don't expect to get those so easily c: Thank you all for the kind words, they really motivate me tbh. Yeah probably right, however Im fairly confident I can handle trades if people send me a message with what theyre trading and what not. Partially off topic but I find it amusing that the reborn community is very against cheating in any form but have no problems with using previous game versions to gain access to previously axed pokemon. That's what the suggestion was based on. i love Suze's work the first fan game i played (from RPG maker) was actually his Pokemon Zeta and i loved every aspect of it despite Suze himself saying that is was never completely finished hence why he made Insurgence i just figured that since the option is there it'd be a nice thing to try out on an entirely new game. you never really know what somebody can do with a little help from another, if people shared their idea's then utilising that somebody else could bring something else to the table. Who know's maybe Jan can trade his difficulty code for Suze's challenge modes it'd be helping each other out to add onto their already amazing games. madf0x Posted March 22, 2015 Share Posted March 22, 2015 weel jan did say the code was already posted for free for everyone and that it was pretty much just a matter of time before they are implemented. I agree though that there are a lot of nice things that can be borrowed from Insurgence. It may be heresy to say this here but Insurgence really is the most polished fan made game, its just low on content. But its the minor things like HM items(okay maybe not minor in this case but still), replacing the generic item graphic with the actual items picture, easy access to name rater, paying for faster egg hatching, purchasable clothing outfits, visible stat changes in battle, etc that really add a nice touch. Then theres also the fun 'challenge' modes like randomizer if you just want some lightweight crazy run. One thing that reborn could definately borrow from insurgence is event management. Reborn uses crazy amounts of events for everything and creates massive lag. Thankfully Rejuvenation doesnt do that. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
