I've been training a swadloon so I can beat Valarie, but it seems to refuse evolution. I've been training it since Lv 28 with a soothe bell and its Lv 45 now, Im starting to think theres a bug or something, but anyways just wanted to confirm Reverse candies dont affect happiness right?

There isn't a bug because I have a Leavanny. But to make sure, could you send me your save? Reverse candies do affect happiness.

Edit:

So update 4 seems to be somewhat stable now. I think the only real problem was the Pokeball glitch and some surfing mess ups.

Will wait till later tonight to make my decision on making it the main link.

By the way, do things with 3 possible abilities get their 3rd? I've come across a few Run Away Oddish but no Prankster Murkrow (playing 4.3 btw)

Pokemon with third abilities will have to get their abilities via ability capsules (For now). This is because essentials doesn't support 3 abilities for Pokemon in the wild. Oddish has runaway because it only had 1 ability prior. Sorry about that. Also, about that TM list. Tbh, it's been a long time since I placed all the tms available, and didnt write them down because at first this game wasnt supposed to be public but later became public (Bad organization skills I know, am srry). But I will look around and throw a list together soon.

Oh, alright then. Thanks

By the way, I think something goes wrong if a status kills something. Twice so far, poisoned Hoothoot set my Ekans to sleep; both times poison killed it, and both times, after Hoothoot fainted, I had an extra turn despite the there being nothing to fight against.

Also, the woman at the request board doesn't inform you of the right quest. I took the Loveletter one first and she's talking about a little girl who lost her Pokemon.

Speaking of that quest, Cameron says "Tell him I said yes"

registeel's return does so little damage, that has to get fixed

Forgot to max out it's happiness. Noted.

Btw, there's some bugs with items. Using an item on a fainted Pokemon says "*your character's name* used *item name*, but it had no effect". And in-battle, if you select a Potion, and back out at the screen where you're asked who to use it on, it does the same.

And holy Haunter, that thing in Venam's gym is ridiculous.

I knew about the in-battle bug. When you say item, do you mean a revive?

That Haunter was ridiculous. Thankfully I decided to catch a Geodude earlier in the game. I'm currently grinding to get passed the NPC that gives you the second gym badge.

- Can somebody tell me what Gale Strike/Force is. I don't remember the exact name. A Hawlucha used it while I was in a battle for the 2nd gym badge. It did not care about my Graveler's Sturdy ability.

- I'm not 100% sure about this one because the text went by so fast (I figured I got 1 shot so I was spamming my X key), but I believe my Frogadier survived being 1 shot because of Sturdy.

- Final two things. These two things might be old news. I was playing on part 3 because Rock Smash did not work for me on Part 4 and 4.1 When I purified my Froakie it learned X-Scissor and Bounce. When I purified my Sewaddle it learned Will - o - Wisp.

Edit: I had some item troubles during battles on part 4 and 4.1. I've used a handful of Chinese Food and Fresh Water on 4.3 without any trouble.

-Gale Strike is his custom move. It has a priority of +1. It shouldn't have cut through sturdy, though. Will probably lose the +1, though.

-Er, I wouldn't doubt that happening, but I just checked and I did not set Frogadier to get sturdy.

-Shadow Pokemon learn moves they can't normally learn upon purification.

Also you can update to version 4 now. It seems stable enough.

Not that it mattered in the end. I had no chance at winning that fight. Gale Strike ignoring my Graveler's Sturdy, Frogadier living with Sturdy happened in the same fight. Maybe the game got confused? That's cool about Shadow Pokemon.

I've been playing on 4.3 since this morning. Everything other than what I mentioned above has been great. And what I've mentioned hasn't been a big deal.

I found it a bit odd that after beating the 3rd gym you go back in and get facade, when I already got facade from the casino. Might want to switch one of the two so you aren't repeating TMs.

Also what was up with the gothita? I chase it all around the mansion, till it runs into the gym room, but youre forced into a battle and then when you win you can't return. Idk if it's a mistake or if its just something you return to later.

edit: found one of the itemfinder bugs in the storage room. Says an item is on the far right, but nothings there.

- Forgot that I switched facade into the Casino. Fixed.

-You're not forced into the battle, the battle only starts when you step into the square

-noted.

Ah it appeared forced, oh well.

Im in the goldenleaf town at the part where they throw you into the jail. Got out and got caught by the little kid blocking the cave(wanted to see if that was supposed to be the way out or not, no biggee) except instead of throwing me back into the jail I got thrown into the wall of a poke-mart and got stuck.
