  1. Hey @Zumi, it appears that both Huey's and Lavender's portraits are missing in the latest batch of official art work in this thread.
  2. If you talk to Melia, she says the field makes poison deal neutral damage to grass and fairy types. I would recommend bringing Flying and Ice type Pokemon if you have any good ones. To deal with the Swift Swim Ludicolo, I used a Pokemon with Fake Out and a super effective flying type move to take it out. IDK how well this Pokemon will work out but in the same area as the gym there are Shiftry that know Hurricane that can spawn in the tall grass. Hurricane gains an accuracy boost in the rain, worth checking out. Also check out the Dudrio in the open world and see how that goes if you need a good flying type.
  3. Hello and welcome to the forums! Funnily enough, someone else created a thread asking for some advice on starting Rejuvenation, tho they were an experienced Reborn player asking for the difference between Reborn and Rejuvenation. The thread is still worth checking out for some good early game advice for Rejuvenation, assuming that's the one you plan on playing since you posted in the Rejuvenation forums. People in this thread talk about the achievement point system, I would recommend the first item you pick up there to be the exp all. My number one advice to new players is to explore and talk to everyone. Rejuvenation does a great job at rewarding players with useful items and Pokemon because they took the extra mile to do side quests. You should develop a rotating team of Pokemon beyond six mains in your party. Around the 4th gym and beyond there will be Pokemon Breeders with three Audinos you can fight to repeatably farm exp to raise up new members in your team. Make sure you have a good fighting type. Recommendations: Purepower Medicham, Close Combat Hariyama, High Jump Kick Blaziken , CC Infernape There is an event to get an Espurr around the 4th gym, make sure to get a male one with Own Tempo because the ability changes to Prankster when he evolves into a Meowstic. Meowstic can learn a variety of useful support moves like Reflect, Light Screen, Thunderwave through a TM, and most importantly of all Mystic Terrain to bypass an opponents synergistic field for 5 turns. Meowstic is one of the best support Pokemon in the game and you won't regret having one on your team. I would recommend checking the Directory/FAQ for some useful info and guide links in case you want more help on something.
  4. A few early game Pokemon suggestions and advice: Dusk Lycanrock is a great Pokemon to have and you can get it early. There is a lady you can trade with in Oceania Pier, the very first area after the boat introduction, to get an Own Tempo Rockruff. You need another Rockruff to trade with her and you can easily get one in your first cave area. Another great early game Pokemon is a Woobat with Simple, a good 'Mon that works well for the first three gyms due to type match ups and field effects. I can find a Woobat in the Sewers once you have access to that place. I would highly recommend checking out Help Centers, they offer interesting side quests and give out good rewards. For the Help Center in the starting area, I suggest doing the Love Letter quest first, it's easy and gives you a gold nugget for good early game money. Rejuvenation has an Auto Save system that triggers at certain events such as before a boss battle. I would recommend turning that off in the options. One time I got locked in a cutscene before a boss fight and couldn't leave unless I blacked out or won the battle. I assume you have enough game sense to save before an important encounter, you don't need the game to save for you. If you're someone who's interesting in modding, you should check out 12.1 Mod Pack for some nice QoL mods such as visible typing and stat buff/debuff tracker in battles. An Egg notification whenever an egg is available from the Day-care. Itemfinder becomes a toggleable item that reveals all hidden items in the overworld so you can easily walk up to an item and pick it up. FYI: That mod pack does create some problems in the safari zone were the game crashes whenever you trigger a random encounter. If you want to do the safari zone, simply remove the mod pack from the date folder and drop it in you desktop and put in back once you're done.
  5. Alrighty, best of luck on the hunt for an ability capsule then. Might want to look up an item guide, capsules are hard to come by and are sometimes hidden items.
  6. In Rejuvenation, you need a Rockruff with Own Tempo for it to become a Dusk Lycanroc. In Oceana Pier, the very first area after the boat introduction, there is a lady you can trade with to get an Own Tempo Rockruff, you just need another Rockruff to trade with her. IDK if the 5-6 pm time frame matters in Rejuvenation, can you test that out once you get your Own Tempo Rockruff?
  7. If you want my suggestions I have a few Pokemon that can be solid additions to your team. Prankster Meowstic- Did you do the Espurr event near Goldenleaf village? If not, Meowstic should be welcome support Pokemon to your team. He has duel screens, thunderwave, yawn, and most importantly mystic terrain. The power to just replace the opponents perfectly synergistic field with one of your own for 5 turns is a god send in this game. FYI: Prankster only appears on a Male Meowstic, when you reset for the ideal Espurr make sure it's male and has Own Tempo! Own Tempo turns into Prankster when Espurr evolves. Dusk Lycanroc- (Assuming you don't have one already. You didn't say which form you had) Dusk Lycanroc has been one of my main Pokemon in my playthroughs thanks to Accelerock. To get the Dusk form you need a Rockruff with the ability Own Tempo (OT) and evolve it between 5-6 pm (I think...not sure about the 5-6 pm part, you can evolve the OT Rockruff yourself and see what happens. Worse case scenario you have to reset and change the time on your computer.) You can get an OT Rockruff by trading another Rockruff with a lady at Oceana Pier, the first area after the boat introduction. FYI: To teach Dusk Lycanroc Accelerock, you need to teach it from the move relearner in Sheridian Village. You can farm Luvdisc at the Akuwa Town Shore if you need Heart Scales. Hariyama with Thick Fat- Hariyama has been a surprisingly reliable Pokemon for me. It's useful for double battle thanks to Fake Out and can reliably tank a non super effective hit. I run a moveset with Brick Break, Fake Out, Knock Off, and Close Combat. You can get a Makuhita in the grass at Sheridian Village. FYI: If you decide to settle with a Makuhita with the ability Sheer Force, fake out won't flinch anymore. Torkoal with Drought- I would highly recommend getting Pokemon with weather changing abilities. The ability to take away the opponents synergistic weather and give power to yourself is too useful in this game to ignore and will make you life easier in the long run. At your point in the game, Torkoal is available at the safari zone and only spawns after you use rock smash. I prefer to farm this spot, its near where you start if you follow the path North East. To reset the rocks, either press F12 to reset the game or go down the stairs on the right and follow the path near this....thing and the rock will likely respawn. (If it doesn't, head down the path a bit further to trigger the respawn on the rocks) If you manage to get past Angie without a weather changer and don't want to farm the Safari Zone (understandable), you can get a Torkoal at Valor Mountain. (you visit that place at some point after Angie) If you didn't get one with Drought, either try breeding or use an ability capsule (if you have one). If you don't want to grind for a Torkoal, you should at least grind for a Drought Vulpix once you get to Valor Mountain because it's an event Pokemon and easy to farm for what you want. FYI: I would suggest looking up how to get Vulpix and Alolan Vulpix once you get to Valor Mountain, I don't want to spoil you too much.
  8. You can leave the Angie's gym by entering the portal behind her and you regain access to your boat so you can acquire and grind up mons. (I did that myself a month ago on my intense mode playthrough). Nine Icy Tails has an ongoing walkthrough of Rejuvenation you can watch if you need ideas for Angie and future battles.
  9. The girl should be behind this tree in Akuwa town. I already got her so she's not in this screenshot. You can find another girl on the coast by hugging the bottom wall while going right. Tho she's doesn't seem to be a part of the orphan questline in V12, at least before GDC which is were I'm ATM. I know she used to count as on orphan based off an older guide I read. I wouldn't worry about the second girl, I've completed the questline for the time being without her. I'm just informing you about her incase she becomes relevant later.
  10. MhicKy: Leavanny has pretty good stats overall and can be useful later on due to that, pretty fast AND strong (and it can even learn Sticky Web, look at that)! Leavanny was the reason I was able to get the Amulet Coin early thanks to Fell Stinger. To get the Amulet Coin you need to defeat the white hair lady on the third floor in the Aqua building. She has an Abra, Kadabra, and a Level 80 Alakazam. Since the Abra has Focus Sash and seems to always trigger Trick Room, you can two shot Abra and one shot Kadabra with Fell Stinger and deal significant damage to Alakazam with X-Scissor. If your Leavanny has Swarm active (assuming you have the ability) before the fight maybe you can even one shot Alakazam. If you can't one shot Alakazam, I think you still have a turn or two of Trick Room to finish it off and/or use priority moves. I fought her at Level 40 and was able to get the Amulet Coin before Blacksteeble.
  11. I see, so it's an area you access at the end game of V12 with Dive. I haven't gotten that far yet on my re-playthrough but I know what you're talking about.
  12. How did you access those quotes? In the game or through digging in the game's files?
  13. I've been replaying the game on Intense Mode and have developed a large team of Mons. The Pokemon that have consistently been the heroes of my team are... 1 - Geodude/Graveler/Golem with Sturdy. The ability to guarantee survival on a hit and live at least one turn to get critical picks on the enemy team has been a god send. Also they can run bulldoze if you want to slow down Pokemon like legendaries and send in someone else who able to finish the job. 2- Meowstic with Prankster One of if not the best support Pokemon we have in Rejuvenation. Duel Screens, Thunder Wave, Yawn, and most importantly Mystic Terrain to temporarily remove the enemies perfect field and synergy. In the Zetta and Geara fight, having my Meowstic pop a reflect, survive the crunch on the Krookodile, and drop a Mystic Terrain for my rest team to deal with their threats was the only reason i was able to get past that fight. I needed the reflect to help my Shadow Sneak Dusclops survive the Mega Absol while she deals with the Mega Gangar. Mystic Terrain was needed to deal with Crest Flashfire Typhlosion so Lycanroc can use Accelerock without the move turning into a fire move due to the Volcanic Top Field. 3- Zebstrika It's a really fast Pokemon in the early game and what I like to run as an electric sweeper. Can also run thunder wave which I use to help catch wild pokemon. @MhicKy since you're playing on Intense Mode, I'm curious what you used on the Zetta/Geara fight. I really struggled during that battle and felt it was too hard even for Intense Mode. Definitely the hardest encounter for me so far on my playthrough (Currently at Melia and Venam stealing Karrina's boat: Keeping the two waiting while I finish some side quests and breed & ev train Mons) Also does the Debug Mod allow you to change the games difficulty? I know Luck exists but he disappeared when I wanted to change to normal while I was stuck at the Zetta/Geara battle (IDK if his disappearance is a bug or deliberate since I know he doesn't stay in one place) I want to make my current save my main file for V13 and I want the insurance to make fights easier in case i get stuck on one encounter that's too tough for my liking and I'm at one of those "point of no return" story sections like Rift Carnivine (another fight I struggled with but managed to overcame.)
  14. Hmm.... interesting. My guess for Zumi's tease is a Rorim B. redesign due to the colorful heart and the dance (?) emote.
