  1. Never got to see the horror that was solaris with a full team for that fight... But I'm also shocked that nobody has mentioned one of the easiest was to BS this fight that dosen't even require a focus sash. I used a Prankster Perish Song Murkrow, found in the aqua gang ally on a windy night and 100% legitimately attainable by this point in the game as it was never moved. Probably for this exact reason. All you need to do is lead with BSkrow use Perish Song and Prankster guarantees it'll go first and just wait out the three turns since Solaris only has his Garchomp and thus can't switch out to negate the Perish Song effect. Tho in my first save I believe I attempted to do it with a sash/band/quick claw and a Destiny Bond Vespiquen (E18, to clarify) can't remember if I actually succeeded or gave up due to RNG saying no to band/claw procing. Haven't used D-bond in E19 so I have no idea what the issue being mentioned is.
  2. Honestly, I'm that one weirdo that uses a corrosion Salazzle to cheese fights. As corrosion allows me to bypass steel/poison type immunities to Toxic and helped me out more than you think in the Steel type gym. I mean, also naturally learning Flame Burst and Dragon Pulse is nice for taking advantage of fields. Or my love for Contrary Serperior that has some of the most bizarre utility (Crawli's gym, denying sticky webs/barbed web from lowering speed). And is scary on the Bewitched field, I practically swept Florin with field boosted moves and contrary Leaf Storms.
  3. First off, Hi resident shy child here that almost chickened out. But uh I was wondering if anyone would be interested in this concept and if enough interest is generated then I'll turn this into the OOC/Sign-ups thread instead of just an interest check and actually create an IC thread. Here's my concept: Pokemon Corruption It's been peaceful since the Dark Matter was defeated… but little did we know that there was an even darker force. The Corruption. Who knows where it came from? But it's deadly… it takes over the victim's mind and drives them mad. We fear that the legends themselves will succumb to this vile plague… The Corruption Is a parasite that latches on the back of the neck and takes over the mind. Victims become violent and will attack non infected folks with the intention to infect. Legendaries and Mythicals have a high natural resistance. So do Ghost, Dragon, Steel, Psychic, and Fighting Types not to be confused with immunity to Corruption. Those of a human origin are immune however. Origins Basically there’s two kinds, Native and Other. Native means that the character was born and raised in the PMD setting (can even be a civilized wild). Other means that they were summoned by a legendary from an alternate world. Typically they have few memories of their life prior to being summoned, but may have tendencies hold over. About the human world in question It’s kinda where the Corruption comes from and some people are born with the ability to eat the Corruption and often have some kind of eldritch horror thing going on. This most definitely carries over and is referred to as a Shade eater. World setting World map below Alchemy is used to make things like mega stones and emeras as well as various other useful items like orbs, evo items, and other ‘magic’ items. Scarves and such are not made by Alchemy and are made by natural materials. (I like the idea of a mega stone being required instead of an emera) Wilds are uncivilized feral pokemon that tend to avoid civilization. Most often found in mystery dungeons but can be found outside of them as well. Eating wilds is fine though, eating one’s evo line might get some funny looks since it’s kinda weird but not illegal. Wilds can sometimes become civil through various means, but often have a feral tick in their behavior. Rules Please no Legendaries/Mythicals I have plans for them plot wise and they are OP. except for Type:Null/Silvally & Phione. You can be those. Gen 8 is okay! Delta/variants I'd like you to share the typing and prominent moves (can make some moves/abilities up so long as you explain it and run it by me first) I'll probably say yes since I like cool variants. Custom megas same deal as above Logical illegal moves are allowed and not restricted to 4 moves (i.e a Dreepy with shadow sneak, A.Vulpix with fairy wind) I'mma say keep it to 10 moves loosely for now. No god modding Keep romances pg I don't want to be uncomfortable reading my own rp! (Site rules and I'll be Gucci okay?) We'll start with three characters a person may change depending on demand. Hard limit of one Other origin character per person Evolution has no obscure requirements as in it can happen "anywhere" unless the Pokemon requires something (like Magnazone/ Leafeon/ Glaceon then PMD EOS items take precedence here) Cannon references are okay, but will be infrequent and often used for famous teams, places, world events, and specific NPC’s I don’t care if you use text colors or not, just don’t make it super dark or obnoxiously bright. It hurts my eyes and gives me a headache to try and read these colors. Type Wizpig in the other section if you read the rules. Character sheet Species: (list typing if variant) Name: Gender: Origin: Ability: (Describe it if not already existing) Appearance notes: Personality/bio: Moveset: Other: Spoiler contains my character ideas, feel free to leave yours as well! Don't feel like you have to start as a pre evo just because I did, I don't really mind.
  4. Hi! As you can tell by my post count I'm not completely new and you may have seen my art thread. But, through a combination of not knowing this existed and my own anxiety didn't post an introduction until today. I really enjoy playing the more story focused more difficult fan games since, I like an engaging story and actually having to think to win a battle. Aside from that I love doing art of any kind (2D, 3D, digital) usually I do dragons/reptiles but, I've been getting better at human-like creatures lately. I'm trying to become a paleontologist (study of fossils, not to be confused with archeology) and I have a large collection of fossils and rocks. And I've gotten into making RPG games, haven't completed one and I use RPG Maker MV so no Pokemon fan games out of me for now.
  5. I'm dumb and didn't see the 5.1 patch sorry.
  6. *The Mc can be seen going over a large packet of papers as Melia and Venam enter* Melia: Mc, what are you filling out? Mc: My life insurance policy, apparently I'm worth 500,000 dollars. Venam: Isn't it a little soon for you to be worrying about dying? Mc: I dunno you tell me, after all I've at least died twice that I can remember and I suspect a third time that I can't. Venam: Fair enough. Melia: But, why are you going through your life insurance policy? Mc: To make y'alls beneficiaries of course, I was thinking about cashing in on my life insurance since ya'know I come back to life when I die. Melia: That's insurance fraud! Venam: I'm listening. Mc: I'll change my name to Player Name or PN for short. And you each get 100,000 dollars. Also, not fraud if you actually die. Melia: I can't stop you Mc, but this is going to come back and bite you in the ass. Mc: We'll see about that… *Mc yeets self off of the balcony the next day, and becomes PN.* *Somewhere off in v13+ content PN is being held by sword point by Madame X* Madame X: Was it worth it? PN: What are you talking about? Madame X: Jumping off that building. PN: Yes? What are you getting at? Madame X: It would be a real shame if that was your last death. PN: Shiiit… *PN gets stabbed* PN: Dammit Melia… you were right… *dies* *PN doesn't come back to life. As the world proceeds to end as predicted once the interceptor dies permanently.*
  7. I did this animation for my graphic design and it's the first time I've done one. It's more tedious than you think.
  8. This is a late night thought mixed with a shower rethink of it but... Freya red haired bitch, who ever she is has got to be lying about Crescent's death. WLL proves her to be a pathological liar and the more I think about it, the more I realize the timeline doesn't add up. Like on valor mnt. when Crescent pushes Sharon and then goes with Saki for a bit. She presumably encountered the red haired bitch and that could be why she was delayed in comming to the player's rescue. You then meet with her in Tesla's house, and unless I'm mistaken this would be after Crescent's 'death'. And the version of Crescent in the nightmare city could be either her or perhaps the player's own nightmare about her. Also, Crescent seems almost motherly in a rather roundabout way to the player. Perhaps she's your real mom... But then, who is your father? Unless you don't need one... But, that's just me.
  9. My big three that have really saved me are 1. Contrary Serperior, for the reasons mentioned above. I remember having a slightly easier time against the first rift due to intimidate boosting my attack AND Florin's Cradliy everyone bitches about? Died in two Leaf Storms would have won the gym first try if it wasn't for sleep ruining my Serperior's epic sweep. 2. Alolan Ninetales, a good special tank that can also hit hard. Not to mention that it can get Snow warning to change the weather, be it annoying rain or unfavorable sun. Access to Blizzard which can change feilds, can make some battles easier. Ex: The Rift Gardivor, I froze the rift field and that not only removed sleep damage at the end of every turn, but also allowed my ninetales a quadruple resistance to some dark type moves, like dark pulse. 3. Xatu, the reason I used it was because I forgot about woobat's existence. But magic bounce is a really fun ability and Xatu is easy to get since all you need to do is level a Natu up to lv.25. Air Slash will save your life in the second gym(fighting) and Xatu's access to psychic moves will help out in the third gym(normal) and Ominous Wind's field boost and buffs if you're feeling ballsy in the fourth gym(ghost). Honorable mention to Sylveon and Mawhile, a Slyvie can become a calm mind sweeper that refuses to die, and Maw for how hard it can hit if given the chance (Sheer Force life orb!) and amazing typing.
  10. First off, I love these Second, my attempt at this When you get teleported to the undisclosed Xen base by Gothitelle Mc: *ignoring the amount of danger their in while looking around* Can someone direct me to the nearest wall? A moment of confused silence from all xen admins Nastasia: Over there… but- Mc: Thank- Oh that one's glass, wait I see a suitable wall over there. Please excuse me while I bash my head into the wall repeatedly. *starts to walk towards the wall, hasn't even stepped off the table yet before getting interrupted and impeded.* Geara: Who the fuck do you think you are? Mc: Sir I'm going to have to ask you to move before I use you as a wall for bashing my skull into. Geara: What are you on!? *Mc starts to get teleported again and shouts forlornly* Mc: Noooo! I wanted to bash my skull into the wall!!
  11. Rise of the murder plants Linirian Lileep Type: Water Grass In the Linira region, Lileep never went extinct. These Lileep tend to be brightly colored and some refer to them as 'Sea Lilies'. L Lileep mainly use photosynthesis, but also eat microorganisms. Linirian Cradily Type: Water Grass Linirian Cradily have gained a taste for larger prey. Living in deep sea caves and abandoned shipwrecks, L Cradliy waits for its prey to come close before spraying a cloud of poison into the water and waiting for the poison to weaken its prey before finishing it off. Oddly L Cradliy can reabsorb the excess poison to use again latter. Based on the fact that crinoids are a Lazarus species (thought to be extinct but was found to still be alive). Also no way in hell L Cradliy won't have the ability poison heal and thus why I avoided making it a poison type. Linirian Morlull Type: Fairy Poison Linirian Morlull appear almost innocent. However, they often lure people into the deep forest to possibility never be seen again. Linirian Morlull eerily show up at the site of a recent death. Linirian Shinotic Type: Fairy Poison Parents in the Linira region tell their children to never stray off the path in the woods, and for a good reason. Linirian Shinotic feed on the recently killed and are not afraid acquire this by any means necessary. The under side of the bell will glow vibrantly after feeding. Inspired by how creepy this line's actual dex entries are and that mushrooms can be horrifying.
  12. Re-imageined Galar fossils, they're no longer suffering abominations you're welcome
  13. No extra drawings today, but, I do have a nice pairing of variants! Linirian Seviper Type: Poison Ground Linirian Seviper co-evolved with L.Zangoose to a degree. Linirian Seviper is capable of using its sharp tail to help it tunnel through the ground. It still has a bitter rivalry with Zangoose, but Seviper tends to come out on top due to having a slight advantage. That's just me coming up with an odd typing, actually these both fit that description... Linirian Zangoose Type: Steel Fighting Originally pure fighting, but becoming part Steel to gain a natural immunity to it's rivals attacks. However, this backfired since Seviper adapted to become a tunnel dweller. Its razor sharp claws are made out of synthetic (as in naturally growing) iron. This makes them incredibly strong and durable. If you look closely at the sprite, you can see where I tried to make a metallic sheen on the claws.
  14. First off, a Pokémon rejuvenation fan doodle, could be considered spoiler-ish to some since it is of a scene somewhat near the end of the current release. (Alamissa Urben first visit) Linirian Growlithe Type: Bug Don't let this pup's looks deceive you. It's bug typing comes from a symbiosis with some bug types, mainly Grubbin but other small bugs hide in Grolithe's fur as well. The litte bugs get protection and the Growlithe gets a bit of extra help in battles from irritated insects. Linirian Arcanine Type: Bug Electric Evolves by Thunder Stone. Now, only Grubbin and Charjabug hide in it's mane. All of the Arcanine's electrical attacks actually come from the Grubbin and Charjabugs. But, these big dogs are rather nomadic and sometimes pass through areas with a magnetic flux, allowing for the Charjabugs to evolve if their ready. The inspiration for these two was Zinogre from Monster Hunter. Since a bug electric type dose exist, I used them, since in MH Zinogre's electricity comes from tiny thunderbugs. Linirian Vulpix Type: Fire Dispite being the same type as it's Kantonian counterpart, Linirian Vulpixes are different in terms of behavior. Linirian Vulpixes are more in tune with the spirt realm, acting as gides for lost souls. They sometimes linger around those who are about to die, not only to bring them comfort in their final days, but to protect their souls from harm. Linirian Vulpixes have a hatred for the Litwick line since they all 'eat' souls. Linirian Ninetales Type: Fire Ghost Legends also refer to it as 'The Guardian of the Departed'. Linirian Ninetales are capable of sending a soul straight to the spirit realm. They no longer curse those who touch their tails, instead making them more spiritually at peace. Linirian Ninetales like to visit hospitals and nursing homes to bring the residents comfort and warmth as they get better, and peace of mind as they pass on. However, it's very kind and caring nature will vanish upon seeing any member of the Litwick line. Linirian Ninetales will ruthlessly attack them, enraged by Litwick's (and co.) 'Diet' of souls, souls that it should have been able to gide into a peaceful afterlife. Drawing from how Ninetales seems to have a heavy spiritual influence, yet not be a ghost type and the Litwick rivalry is only natural considering they have such conflicting behaviors.
  15. My first oc I made Linirian Purloin Type: Gohst Linirian Purloins prefer to steal your secrets instead of your belongings. They manipulate and hide in the shadows, listening when you think nowone else is there. Linirian Lieapard Type: Ghost Dark Once a Purloin finds a worthy secret (lv 20) it evolves. It will protect the secret and by extension anyone or thing that is part of it. Using its powerful shadow manipulation it can make itself appear to like any other cat like Pokemon. These kitties are based off of the mithical linx from this book series I've been reading. The basic premise of them is that the linx can teleport, shapeshift into other felines, and they hoard and sometimes protect secrets. And yes, I know Lieapard is usually a dark type, but that type combination was just too perfect for what I was going for!
  16. A siemi realistic Linirian Persian Linirian Skitty Type: Fairy The harsher climate of the Liniri region forced Skitty to adapt. Instead of existing only to be cute, they took on the Fairy typing so that they could defend themselves against dark and fighting type predators. Linirian Delcatty Type: Fairy Psychic Exposure to a moonstone not only triggered evolution, but caused its eyes to open. Delcatty's natural refined personality has taken a much more sophisticated path of enlightenment. Linirian Delcatty are intelligent and eager to learn about the world. Its even thought that they could match humans, and some of them even learn to speak telepathically.
  17. Okay, this is the third time I've had to redo this since my tablet is an asshole. No really it would not let me out of the insert URL that I accidentally hit and made me start all over. So, anyways I'm just going to go a head an display three sprite edits I did. Y'alls can use 'em just ask and give me credit for the original work! This lovley lady ( If anyone can find Lucy's overworld sprite from RSE...) The next two are regional variants for a region (Liniri region) I made up for a fangame that won't happen any time soon. Linirian Meowth Type: Dragon These feral Meowth would rather hiss and run from humans than stay and fight. Linirian Meowth can be difficult to train due to their feral tendencies. But, they take a Meowth's liking of shiny objects to an extreme. Hoarding all that glitters and prepared to turn your arms into ribbons if you dare try to take anything from their hoard. Linirian Persian Type: Dragon Fire Evolved by a Meowth who has lived long enough and found the right stone (lv 28 + random evo stone). Linirian Persian will fearsomely guard what they believe to be their's, this can include their trainer. They cannot breath fire very far, but their flames are 5000°F. These Persian often breath fire over their claws to heat them up. ^ those variants are based off of feral cats, Bengal cats, and a dragon's tendency to hoard.
  18. Weirdest Pokemon to me is the Orbeetle line in sword and shield there is just so many freaking design inconsistencies. Also just gonna say the fossils from those games are very... Special. Also the goomy line- I love 'em don't get me wrong but why dragon? Metang's pokedex entry stating that it is capable of taking a fucking plane to the face and having not a single scratch. WFT how was this discovered? How many people died finding this out? WHAT ARE YOU MADE OF METANG! THAT SHIT MUST BE DENSE AS HELL AND YOUR WEIGHT IS FALSE UNDER THESE IMPLICATIONS!
  19. I've had this idea rolling around in my head and finally perfected it to day. Might as well share since these are some ideas I'm sitting on for a fan game idea. "Delta" Meowth - Dragon Dex entry - "Delta" Meowths behave much more feral than their counterparts. They will often hiss and run from humans. However, upon being caught or having it's hoard of stolen shiny objects discovered will tear into the aggressor viciously. "Delta" Meowths like to hoard their treasures in their den. "Delta" Persian - Dragon Fire Dex entry - "Delta" Persian retain the coin on their heads and to them it's a symbol of pride. They can't breathe fire very far, often times preferring to coat their jaws in searing hot flames or using it to heat up their claws. These Persian like to gather valuable metals and gems and will protect them fiercely. Ablities- Muliscale, Gold Rage (if the user is holding any item that is made from precious metals or gems attack and speed go up and defense and sp. defense drop) Flash Fire. The inspiration was feral domestic hybrid cats ( like the Bengal or Savannah) and playing with Meowth's like for shiny and the myths of a dragon's hoard. In terms of moves and stats I was thinking a physical oriented hitter with moves like Fire Fang and Dragon Claw. I'm still not to sure on what Gold Rage's effect should be other than the held item trigger. "Delta" Skitty - Fairy "Delta" Delcatty - Fairy Psychic Here's me trying to make these two useable and not completely useless. The idea is that instead of being all hoti toti Skitty and Delcatty became more intelligent and mystical in a way (also it's a moon stone evo so that could play into it). I'm not sure on abilities but I think I'd boost the special attack stat a bit. Moves would be like Moonblast, Psychic that kinda thing.
  20. I really enjoyed playing through the story, like reborn and rejuvenation are tied for my favorite fan games! Also, almost every character is relatable in some way. (Seriously Erin is secretly me, her dialogs are pretty much what I would say and me and my friend where dying reading it!)
  21. Favorite fields: I love them all dearly but, if I had to pick it would be Fairy tale/dragon's den. Fairy tale because I really love the ascetic and the Steel type gym is my favorite gym currently in reborn. Dragon's den because I made that field in Rejuvenation with my Salazzle and it just seemed perfectly made for her. Least favorite: I kinda don't like how the holy field says 'fuck you' to my boy Sivally and I hate that the rocky field adds additional rock damage to EQ. (I'm still salty about seeing 'it's not very effective' pop up during that fight with that lv 75 Steelix and seeing Torterra's EQ do diddly!) That being said there's no field I completely hate, just little things I dislike.
  22. Thank you sir or madame, I would give you a cookie if I could!

    HELP!

I got myself into a predicament while using the debug mode mod and I don't know where to post it so, I came here for help. See under Spoiler for my problem. Oh, if your wondering why I don't use a backup save, that's because all of mine are for some reason set to where I had zero badges.
