    Oh, that seems grim. But why exactly would Freya disguise herself as Risa? And it's interesting that Freya would be friendly with Saki, since Saki has seen Freya before way back on Terajuma.

    Risa and Saki seem like they'll be important in V13. Also, as a sidenote, what sidequests do you think will continue/be started next version? I know that Narcissa's sidequest has came to an end, but it seems like Ana's has yet to be finished, and Goomink may lead to something, considering the ending.

    So, I've started another run of Pokémon Rejuvenation, and I was just doing the Missing Mother sidequest and have reached the end. I can't help but wonder why the Mother was so secretive about the help she was giving to the kids, or why exactly she had been running it in a warehouse at the Ocean Pier.

    Melita? But yeah, she's definitely gonna do something alright. I wouldn't point to the beating Melia thing as a reason, because I'm certain that was for plot reasons, but the other stuff lines up. I wonder what her team in the tournament will be, if we do fight her. Will it just be Freya's team but as different pokemon?

    I only really believe the theory because of the Jigglypuff and Nagandel stuff. There's no way that it would just be some coincidence that the pokemon have the exact same stats and moveset. Unless it's a really specific red herring.

    Yep, every pokemon even if used before is fair game. It's not like they're just not gonna give a gym leader a good pokemon because another gym leader used it.

    I don't know about Copperajah and Klefki. I feel like she may instead have a Steelix and Magnezone.

    His Torterra is definitely one of the strongest pokemon in the game. As said by others, it's weaknesses and resistances are reversed, so you should be using ground types against it. Dig becomes a one turn move on this field, so keep that in mind. I probably only got through this fight since I played V12 back when his Claydol was bugged and didn't do anything, so the fight was technically a 6v5.

    I don't know about Cosmia and Comet. It's probably likely, but they're also up to some really weird stuff unbecoming of gym leaders, such as impersonating a dead person and straight up kidnapping a guy in a sidequest. Though who knows, Amanda ran the league for a while, and look where that got us.

    Of course! And at least one of her pokemon will have a crest that makes the fight even more difficult if you don't know how to work around it. Imagine Ryland's Torterra if you brought an ice type along to fight it levels of difficulty.

    A Metagross 8 levels above the cap would be terrifying.

    I hope the Crescent is our mother theory is false. I don't want a character that I actively dislike to be my mother, since it means that the story may have us getting buddy buddy with the person who manipulated Ren into joining the evil team, attempted to push Sharon to her death, assisted in the manipulation of Melia, and took Zetta out of the plot. Though it would be funny if she was both our mother and Melia. Especially since you can completely destroy Melia's trust in you.

    Saki will probably have either the most difficult battle since Angie, or the easiest in the game I feel. I say the first because She'll have access to pokemon like Mega Metagross, and she'll probably also have a Z-Move, since she's one of the last gym leaders and they need to make it as difficult as possible. I say the latter because the last time we fought her she was a pushover.

    Didn't know Souta had a thundurus once, but that sounds like it would be horrifying to face considering how hard the fight is already.

    They could start using Z-Moves. We had those, and random legendaries, in V10. Florin used to have a Shaymin on intense, which never got explained.

    It changes some dialogue later in the game. Depending on how many relationship points you have with her, Melia will either say something along the lines of how she has complete and total trust in you, or she'll say that she doesn't trust you at all and thinks that you could be a problem.

    That would be hilarious. Hopefully you can get some special dialogue with her when you are challenging the elite 8 if you did the HL questline. Perhaps a thank you for what you did in HL 4.

    Venam will probably have Toxcicitry on one of her teams, and I can totally see Melia with a Hatterene.

    Yeah, you kinda need to do them as they come up, so the first one around Venam, second one around Keta, ect.

    Reina cameos in Krystalline, and her mom actually talks about how she left if you talked to her in Goldenleaf town. You have Crawli appear as a cameo before a optional second fight with rift Gyrados.

    Didn't know about Narcissa showing up there. Hmm... What other cameos are there? I know Narcissa shows up at Goldenleaf forest, back when you first go there.

    Yeah, that's the scene I'm talking about. There's lots of interesting little cameos throughout the game, like Alice and Alan in Hidden Library 3.

    Yeah, besides the interesting swim sprite she plays exactly the same as other characters.
