  1. Protean Greninja is probably one of the best starters in the game, up there with speed boost Blaziken and with contrary Serperior lagging behind.
  2. No, handing the diamond over does give you a game over. Believe me, I tried.
  3. You just need to get a link heart. Someone sells one at Ocean Pier after the 4th gym I believe. Something like that.
  4. Tepig can be found at Valor Mountain, near where you find Reina. It needs rock climb. Not sure about the others though.
  5. I don't even want to block against it. It's amazing that her Beheeyem is so good, considering the fact that it's a Beheeyem. Makes me want to do a Psychic type monorun.
  6. True enough. Also, can we take a moment to congratulate Freya for managing to pull off using a Beheeyem? I know the Ultra Beast could be considered her ace, but to me the Beheeyem is, since it's the one that allows her to do all this crazy stuff like the battle with Melia and Aelita on the pyramid, and the supposed death of
  7. Probably HL4 if its a sidequest he's talking about. Lots of decisions you can make there, lots of bad decisions.
  8. Exactly. If we got it at a reasonable time, then we'd have way too strong of a tool that could trivialize all the painstakingly crafted gym battles, or Valor Mountain.
  9. I doubt that anyone is playing Madame X like a fiddle. She seems to be way too competent for that, and she is probably fully aware of their disdain for team Xen.
  10. Technically we get the ring next version, so it seems a bit late to be mad about it now. Anyway, maybe Jan was afraid of someone using Debug mode to give themselves rift matter to give themselves a powerful rift pokemon. Or, he just didn't want us to have access to Mega pokemon earlier on, since we technically obtain our first mega stones before we fight Erick.
  11. Primordial gods, or whatever Spacea and Tiempia are, probably don't care about what happens in a theoretical timeline that never happens unless you screw things up in the past. And yeah, we probably don't need to be there, but would we really, as an audience, be able to understand how far Spacea and Tiempia are willing to go in the name of the greater good if we weren't there? Anyway, while on this whole topic, isn't it a bit strange that everyone in the ruined timeline with an actual character is someone we know? You'd think that say, Mosely or Amber wouldn't even exist in a timeline in which the apocalypse hits Aevium 30 years ago or whenever this happened.
  12. Honestly, as much as I want to know more about the surfboarders with Ultra Beasts and their connection to Team Xen, I'd rather know more about Cosmia and her brother. They have received the vaccine, and so will become victims of whatever insidious thing comes of those vaccines. Which is weird, since they have some connection to Madame X, considering the fact that in a sidequest Cosmia straight up teleports into some guy's house and kidnaps him before he can tell you her identity.
  13. I mean, can you blame them for letting Melia screw around and create the ruined timeline? As far as they're concerned, it teaches the lesson that putting the good of one, (Vivian) over the good of all (The region-wide Garufan protection spell) is a bad thing to do and it causes the literal end of days.
  14. Honestly, I think I'll always be confused about how the two good options for the situation are the ones where you aren't choosing to act to benefit the majority. If only because the entire situation was engineered by
  15. The objectively best option, oddly enough, is doing nothing. Seems odd considering the context of the situation and why exactly you got there, but that's the choice for the best ending there. If you use the diamond, everyone else kinda really despises you, and you leave the world while it's still doomed.
  16. I'm not gonna blame her for that, since no one except Isha and Cassandra would know anything about the vaccines. Anyway, it's good that Melia isn't anti-vax!
  17. Clearly, this is normal. Saki is friends with some random woman with red hair and a Beheeyem who happens to have some perceived connections to Risa. After all, Saki would not let anyone on her island unless they were her friends.
  18. Sounds tough. I haven't done Neptune or the other one because I don't know where they are. If I had to guess, I would assume that we'll fight Novae again in Neverwinter, it fits with her wandering nature. Maybe she'll get to enter the main plot, like how Alice and Allen went from random side characters in HL3 to important characters in the main story.
  19. Good lord, that Nim fight. Never have I hated trick room with such intensity before. I forgive her for putting us through that, because it's Nim, but still. Anyway, I hope sidequest boss fights remain somewhat more difficult than main ones. I found Defaux to be the hardest rift prior to the nerf, followed by Chandelure. Though admittedly the second one did come after a fairly challenging fight.
  20. Some of the images shown to us of the next version do sorta hint at Angie playing a role in this version, but there's not nearly as much of a mystery going on with her as with Saki and "Risa".
  21. Hmmm, if the twitter is to be considered a reliable source of information, then she isn't too messed up. Of course, this is also the twitter that pretty much just has Saki playing animal crossing all day, and I don't know how to feel about Saki just sitting around doing nothing but play ACNH all day while we're fighting Flora atop a massive pyramid at the end of a wasteland comprised of the former capital of the Aevium region.
  22. Since the other questions have been answered, I'll explain a little on 7. You'll probably obtain it at the end of the Wanderer Novae questline. A series of help quests which have you battling a character who is almost definitely a member of that group of sisters holding the star shards. The battles are relatively difficult for their time in the game, and there's one in Gearen pre-renovation, Sheridan, the town you fight Crawli at, and one at the desert village.
  23. Oh yeah, Solatone… Dancing with Alexandra was probably the best part of that sidequest. And the changed dialogue on the train to GDC.
  24. I feel like at least one core would be near Garufan territory. They'd probably have captured at least one, and it would probably make for a good sidequest to have to go and retrieve it from the depths of some old Garufan facility. Call it HL5 or something, because that quest line has a history of giving insight into ancient Garufan structures.
  25. Yeah, I'm fairly interested in seeing what's next, considering the fact that now I almost exclusively play as Ana and how close she is to fully regaining her memory. As for Goomy… I don't know, the Goomy kingdom is in the remains of one of the seven kingdoms, so something could happen there.
