  1. I would not be surprised if he gets that mixed up. His head is in the clouds most of the time after all. By the way.....since we don't know for sure how long it will take until TTar actually starts recording new episodes of Reborn, is there any good Reborn Nuzlocke (or even someone who startet a Randomizer Nuzlocke of the current EP18.2) that is worth watching?
  2. I got a question. If i got that right from the live stream, randomized Pokémon and randomized moves will be 2 separate passwords in EP19, however, this randomizer patch right now only does both things at once. Is there any chance to update this randomizer for players to chose whether they want moves randomized or not?
  3. ShogokiX

    LOL random XD

I think that was also discussed during the live stream. Randomized Pokémon and randomized moves will be 2 different passwords in the EP19 release, as far as i understood. Well, maybe, if they feel like it (and if we ask nicely), Cass or Ame might even update this current patch to work that way.
  4. Yes, i am with you on that one. If he's gonna put up some rules he should also follow these rules, or else there is no real reason to put them up in the first place. So he should either stick to following these rules, or get rid of them entirely and just play as normal (including usage of Mons that already "died" to the nuzlocke, as he didn't release them, so what's stopping him from using them if he were to throw all "rules" out of the window?)
  5. It's there, trust me. And with so many people now staying at home, especially with schools closed, some of these toxic people have nothing better to do with their lives than looking for "reasons" to start flaming. Although you have to admit that this varies between communities, as some of them are rather nice, while others are filled with so much salt that the oceans taste like fresh water by comparison. And then there is Showdown XD The amount of salt, tears and flames is so high on that one that it's like an ocean on fire.
  6. Although you COULD release the mons even if you want to create death montages. I mean....what's stopping you from creating a text file or a spreadsheet that lists all the Mons you lost, including any additional data you might want for later reference, like which episode you caught them and which episode you lost them.... And yeah, i also noticed that part about the YT comments a few times XD But you know how that works.....there is always that group of people that flames the content creator for not playing the way that they think is the ONLY right way to play the game, and it's actually the very same people that start flaming if you DO play just the way they wanted you to play.....some people only exist to be that kind of person all the time....
  7. I don't even get why he made up those "rules" if he doesn't even care to uphold these...... Well....he should have listened to his community from the very beginning to not nuzlocke this game, or at least go through with it all the way. Now he is in this awkward position to kinda have "lost" some of his Pokémon, but technically it's not a nuzlocke any more, so he COULD still use them, as he didn't release them as nuzlocke rules originally stated you'd HAVE to do once they "died" in battle. The variation of just putting defeated Mons in a seperate box was made up later by other people than the original creator of the nuzlocke rules. As far as i know the original nuzlocke rules were just 3 in total. 1. You can only capture the very first Pokémon you encounter on each new place you visit 2. You must give every Pokémon you caught a nickname 3. Pokémon that are defeated in battle are counted as "dead" and have to be released. Every other rule you might know about nuzlockes was made up later and by different people, but are now commonly considered default nuzlocke rules.
  8. TTar's Reborn adventure will end with Budew.....as Budew is the source of all evil
  9. Still, TTar has a bad habit of throwing away strong Pokémon all the time, which is probably driving some people nuts. Or he's ruining potentially strong Pokémon on his team by replacing good moves with trash......like throwing away Blizzard on Jynx.... Whenever you are tempted to think that he finally understood that the game will only get more difficult the further you advance he always manages to pull a stunt like that, crippling his own fighting power again and again.....
  10. Generally speaking alolan Golem has a double resistance against flying type moves, so of course sturdy would not be needed to tank Ciel's flying type moves. But yeah, i don't see either why he didn't make use of Stealth Rock if he had it. But hey, he did make it somehow, throwing out some of the best Mons he had left in the process, just to keep that stupid bat alive....
  11. It would makes sense that the legendary quests for Mew and Mewtwo are linked in some way. After all, no matter if anime, games, or even the manga, Mewtwo is a genetically enhanced copy of Mew, with said genetics modified to be stronger than the original. However, it is still possible to give both of them their own quests that do share the part of Mewtwo being created from Mew, but split up at some point. Mew could go into hiding after what scientists did to it, while Mewtwo wrecks havoc after its escape from the lab. It could also be possible that you need to find and capture Mew first (and have it on your team) in order to access the place where Mewtwo is going berserk, as only Mew is able to shield the player from Mewtwo's immense powers. That way both Pokémon would have their own unique quests that are still linked to another in a meaningful way. This is how i would try to do it, but of course we will see which way Ame will do it as soon as EP19 is released. That of course might still take a while, but this game is worth waiting for it. Also, since you haven't read the manga, here is just a small outtake of what i meant by "levels of brutality" in the manga @Amethyst
  12. Yeah, about that...i don't think Ame will be going for the anime Mewtwo route. So far Reborn reminded me way more of the Pokémon manga, which actually shows off levels of brutality towards both humans and Pokémon that would never make it into the anime. I don't know if Ame ever read the manga, but damn, the similarities at some points are just too perfect to be a coincidence. Just judging by that i'd say that Mewtwo in Reborn won't be like the "nice" one from the movies that decided to let go of its hatred and thirst for revenge in the end. Also just taking the Mewtwo from the glitch world would be WAY too easy in my opinion, in terms of creativity. After all the player defeated that Mewtwo already to get past it and face Terra. And i bet Ame won't waste the chance to create an awesome quest for a Pokémon with that much backstory. I mean, there are aready some nice details in the game that are official canon but are never used outside of Pokédex entries in the official games. Like Absol appearing whenever desaster is about to happen, or Drifloon abducting children for example.
  13. So we might get to see actual new episodes soon. That sounds good, so i'm waiting for it.
  14. Yes, that is what i was getting at. In the anime Mewtwo is portrayed as a being of very high intelligence and immense power that is driven by a strong desire for revenge and hatred. Now there is a scene in the movie (that was deleted everywhere outside of japan, as far as i know) where Mewtwo is depicted as a "child" inside its test tube, and in a place inside its mind it meets a few other Pokémon and a human child. Those other Pokémon and the little girl are clones as well (and are also in test tubes inside the lab), and they become friends with Mewtwo. However, while Mewtwo's body is stable and growing as expected, the bodies of the other Pokémon and even the girl are failing one after another, which leads to their deaths (well, you get why this scene was deleted). Of course Mewtwo is angry as it realizes that it and its friends where nothing more than science projects conducted by greedy scientists, and you know the rest of the story. Mewtwo breaks free, destroys the lab, creates an army of clones to conquer the world and is stopped by Ash and Mew. However, in the games Mewtwo's backstory is entirely different. It is not a clone that was raised in a test tube, but the scientists managed to capture a wild Mew. Through manipulation of its genetics this Mew gives birth to a living Pokémon that is named Mewtwo. What happened to Mew after that is not further described, however, it is known that Mewtwo was very aggressive from the day of its birth and got even more aggressive as its powers got stronger by every day. In the end it breaks free and destroys the lab where it was created, and next thing that we know is that the player could catch it at its hideout. This version of Mewtwo is still depicted as crazy strong, yet there is not a single word on how intelligent it is. For all we know it COULD be as smart as its anime counterpart, but could also possess no intelligence at all and could be driven by instinct alone, with its instincts telling it that everyone and everything is a potential enemy it needs to strike down. Now it would not be too far off for Reborn to feature a legendary quest line where Team Meteor scientists (or any one else crazy and power hungry enough) attempt to create yet another Mewtwo, which might yet be even more aggressive than even the anime or official game version, to a point where it just murders everyone in cold blood who dares to approach it. I mean, there is already that Type:Null that killed its creator, as it remembers being put together from parts of several Pokémon that were killed for this cause. And heck, who better to be killed off by Mewtwo than mr. "I am the top dog and the cool cat" himself? It's definetly what Mewtwo would do, if a brat like that were to piss it off....
  15. He fought Ciel, and he reacted just as i predicted...."Why she MEGA?" Well......next is gonna be his surprised face as he goes back to Reborn City......like i said, this guy is going to freak out so much in the next episodes....
  16. ShogokiX

    LOL random XD

Hahaha, yes, the guy that chases his Lillipup will now chase a Rayquaza "Come here, Dogmatix!"
  17. Well, he did mess up a lot during the first season, throwing away some of the best Pokémon he managed to capture to use them as death fodder for the nuzlocke....Not to mention his other mistakes like not training properly, failing to buy Pokéballs, wasting encounters.... And now he's at the point where the game starts biting his butt for it.
  18. She's a murderous one.....i like that! Can i vote for someone to die? I'd like to see Fern getting murdered by a legendary Pokémon.....preferably by Mewtwo! Would be nice to see him trying to capture Mewtwo, badmouthing it as it refuses to be captured by this idiot, and then Mewtwo uses its psychic powers to smack Fern into a wall, leaving a huge bloodstain, picking his still alive body up (again, with its psychic powers) and make it explode like Frieza did with Krillin. And Fern screaming in pain during all of that.... Blood everywhere, and then you can fight (and capture) Mewtwo! Whatever you guys have planned for Mewtwo, THIS is what needs to happen at the end of it's quest^^
  19. It's not only the dragon type gym that's gonna be interesting. The elite 4 will be a nice challenge as well. Although i am really excited to see who the actual elite 4 will be. Since we do not know yet what kind of things will happen in EP19 there might be a chance that some of the current elite 4 members are replaced due to the events of EP19.
  20. As it has always been there will be multiple ways to go about this fight. And we'll see about that once EP19 is released. I'm not really worried about any of the upcoming battles, as i am looking forward to finally being able to engange in said battles. Also i want to see not only how the story ends, but also what they pulled off for post game. Especially the fact that there will be seperate quests and maps for each of the legendary Pokémon is something i am looking forward to.
  21. Haha, yeah, he KNOWS that you need those Pokémon for the Mega-Z Ring sidequest, but he doesn't know when or where it starts, and that's probably why he's gonna miss it, unless he is pointed in that direction once he could start the quest. But like i said: For now he still has a few badges to go, and the next episode will be all about beating Ciel, since i am confident that he will be plucked a few times before he manages to beat her. After all it seems that his streak of winning important battles by sheer luck seems to be running out, and he is running out of his good Pokémon....
  22. This is TTar....he may as well just pick up some regular rocks, carve them into shape and be like "Go! Mega Wonja!" And by the power of the Peeko, as long as HE is the one doing it, it will actually work! But jokes aside, yes, he will be like "WTF? Why can Ciel use mega evolution? I don't have mega yet! This is unfair!" And unless someone tells him, he will even miss the quest to get his own Mega-Z Ring XD
  23. Adding fuel to the fire ('cause that's what i do) i could easily tell you 3 possible strategies to beat that gym. And there are still more possible ways to fight her. As everyone else already mentioned, Reborn is meant to be challenging, and it's meant to be a pain in the a** for people who can't think of any other "strategy" than simply doing the same brain afk things you do to beat any official Pokémon game. Reborn was created with the mindset of providing a level of challenge that long time Pokémon fans always wanted as an optional difficulty mode for experienced players. Something that the official games will never have. Reborn is made for experienced players, so if you can't beat a certain opponent you either have the wrong strategy and/or simply the wrong Pokémon on your team, or, as hard as it may sound, you are simply not good enough at this game. But not being good enough is not as bad as it sounds, as that just means you have lots of room to improve, if you just want it. Even experienced players learned a few new strategies from playing Reborn, so why shouldn't you be able to learn something new as well?
  24. That sounds like the right thing to do. Blaziken is strong enough as it is with its hidden ability.....
  25. That guy would get Tiki back from the graveyard just to spam Mega Blaziken if he gets his hand on the Mega Stone
