  1. You know it's global warming when the bugs plague even Reborn!
  2. and I'm sure if Ame isn't burned out after finishing the game who knows... Maybe she will mentor the next up and coming AmeV.2 with creating the next big adventure.
  3. if u take the u no into consideration. It's clear that you (u) (the MC) cannot (no) be Steve, which is in harsh opposition to the heroic actions constantly taken by the MC and truly brings forth his real nature, which is to destroy the true Steve and take his place!
  4. Hey mate, first of all, sick Nicknames for you Pokémon! so on to the tips: Ludicolo can learn Fake Out. So you can Fake out Ribombee on the first turn. As Logintomylife wrote: Set up Rain! (preferrably with Pelipper) you can than Hpump marowak or Hurricane the Ribombee. The Team I would roll with: 1. Ludicolo, 2. Pelipper, 3. Kingdra, 4. Tentacruel, 5. Swanna, 6. Lapras Put your Ability Capsules to use and make Kingdra, Ludi and Swanna to Swift Swim, give lapras H2O-Absorb. You CAN buy Absorb Bulbs, they will boost your Sp.Atk, when a pokemon is hit with Surf, giving you a passive boost (If you do a no item run) otherwise you can boost one of your swift swim mons with a Xsp.atk and just spam Surf to victory! dont give up! good luck !
  5. Beat me on that one, just wanted to say the same. Also on the same note I'm pretty sure there will be an overabundance of Pokémon Sword editions, since the freakin Pokémon Shield legendary will make this edition a shelf warmer in the stores.
  6. so the undisputed number one for doubles is alolan ninetales with a set like this: A-Ninetales@ Snow Warning Modest 252 Satk, 252 Init Light Clay -Aurora Veil -Blizzard -Dazzling gleam -Ice Beam/ Nasty Plot/ Icy Wind gives you everything. Screens 100% Acc Blizzards, you get the drift. A good Discharge/Earthquake combo for doubles is Rotom + Excadrill They are fast and immune to each others attack, aaaand if you have rotom wash, you can hit opposing ground types super effective OR if you have rotom ice, you can pair it with A ninetales for double Blizzard spam. there is a lot more possibilities, these where my go toes for the harder double battles
  7. Im sure E19 will give us enough department stickers to obtain the choice items easily, if you have the money. I'd love the game to have some kind of restricting features, to make to game just a bit more challenging, like through a password if you start a new run after finishing the main story. Things like: Lower the level cap by 5 (your side only) double item costs restrict the use of items in battle (besides Pokéballs) make enemy attacks deal 1,1 times the original damage.
  8. Hey guys, I am on the verge of insanity. None of my tactics seem to work against Shelly in her master mode. I tried with a team full of water types since the rain is on non stop for the fight, didnt work.. I tried to set the sun with Castform and used a team full of fire types, didnt work... The main problem is that since i cant positively influence IV/EV stuff aswell as the 'mons nature at this point in the game, my team gets outsped by the opponents Pokémon, even though they would normally be slower by far. Does one of you have a hot tip how to tip the scale in my favor? Mode: no Items, no randomizer thanks for your time!
  9. Hey mate, my opinion: first off all, you have a serious wreckingball for single battles going! Thats pretty neat. BUT... without wanting to spoil too much of the fun ahead, I'd suggest just to train up a team dedicated to double battles. These could for example be things like: weather or field set-up Abusers of powerful double moves (e.g. Muddy Water, Heat Wave, Boomburst) And as previously stated (and that goes for all double battles) decide for one enemy and kill of his team first to create a 2v1 szenario ASAP. good luck!
  10. Heyho, I had much success with: Sylveon [especially against Giratina] Pixilate -Swift (gets Pixilate Boosted) [really good for doubles] -Light Screen -Quick Attack (not as strong, but again Pixilate Boosted -... dunno As it is a doubles battle. As silly as it sounds I had a weaker Pokemon with Protect (as Geara alsways tries to kill the weakest Pokemon on your side). So you can use moves like Swift undeterred). I had a "Spiky Shield" Cacturn that could "Spiky Shield" AND "Sucker Punch" so it was filling two roles at once

    Hello!

Heyho dude, nice to have you. Is koffing your favorite?
  12. Heyho dudes, I can't contain myself. HAVE TO START A NEW PLAYTHROUGH!! So as I'm fairly inexperienced with playthrough-methods like randomizers, nuzlockes, etc. I'd like to ask the more knowledgable community users: “How can one alter his playthrough experience and are there any downloadable mods attached to that playstyle?“
  13. @Gainery: thx for the threat, mate. Now that you are writing this, the legendary quests (especially the one with legendary trios involved) will need to be behind somewhat lengthy quest(-chains) to avoid the perception of some kind of legendary-overdosage (and quite frankly I think noone would really enjoy catching 2 or 3 legendaries right after another). The real task is in my opinion to give the player a sense of accomplishment for most of the legendaries, not hand them on a silver platter. For that matter I really like your take on getting Marshadow after like 100 wins in a row at the nightclub, or after finishing the boss rush (which will be quite a challenge). and dislike the "sudden appearance" of Zygarde and Raquaza during the adherent legendary quests (since these Mons are recieved like .."oh you got two, take the third one for free"..).
  14. Hey you guys, as I'm painfully forcing myself not to start another playthrough until E19 is complete, I'd like to theorise a bunch. so as y'all know Field effects can be changed for a resticted time (3 turns or 5 turns mostly) by the use of certain moves. I was wondering if further altering the Field will make it last longer/ relief the turn restriction entirely in some instances. For example: You'r using Grassy Terrain on turn one (lasts 5 turns). If you then set the field ablaze (Burning Field) with Flame Burst the next turn, will it last 4 turns, 5 turns, or is the turn restriction gone at that point? You create a Misty Field, which then gets turned into a Corrosive Mist Field, which then gets turned into a Corrosive Field. Will the turn-timer tick down from the initial set-up of the Misty Terrain or reset itself everytime a change occurs. Your expert knowledge is required here. Thanks
  15. Hey mate, I partially agree with your sight on things, but.. when you'r able to come to this point in the game, you either went through hard singles as well as doubles. You know at this point the big differences in battle-strategy for both these formats and the game expects you to have some sort of a dedicated tactic for either format. For doubles these would be things like: A-Ninetales + another Blizzard spammer Rotom + a Fast ground Type for EQ+Discharge Spam Weather Set up in general or any other means to cater the field to your advantage. I would think of these tactics as cheap in any way, and neither do you, i'm sure. But fighting this gauntlet with a team that is only to an extend (or not at all) catered to the doubles format will naturally put you at a massive downside. either way, glad you managed to pull through!

Joho, I dont know if they count as legendaries, but are Meltan and Melmetal from the "Lets Go..." series on your guys radar?
  17. Hey bud, as your team is centered around set-up with excadrill/ char-x/ azumarill/ Serperior, I'd strongly suggest going for Aurora Veil Support for it can give you the one or two turn you'll need before you can 0HKO everything. Secondly I'd debate against sitrus berry on Azumarill, as it will only trigger once and in a lengthy gauntlet that could easily backfire, as Azumarill is your only reliable Check against Fighting-types. Same goes for Serperior as its only grass move has a maximum of 8pp, hence i'd recommend getting a second grass move (energy ball/ giga drain) over glare. either way! good luck on your run mate. I'd look forward on a recap of yours after beating the game.
  18. HYPE! And dear lord does it look like a lot of work! Idk if the LEGENDARY quests will be open for debate, but if they were, I would love to see the Mew/ Mewtwo Quests pan out like in the first Pokémon Movie! You know, where these Archeologists get an eyebrow of Mew and create Mewtwo in a laboratory with the eyebrows DNA. Mewtwo than completely destroys the lab be4 making his home on a lonesome island with an abducted Nurse Joy. Mewtwo then delivers invitations to all the strong trainers for a contest on his island in an attempt to clone their Pokés. SO MUCH ROOM FOR CREATIVITY!!! also, I have to watch the first Pokémon Movie now, see ya!
  19. I just looked up Rotoms move set. His most powerful elektric move -Discharge- will be useless for doubles in your current team composition, as you dont have anything that resists elektric type attacks besides dhelmise. But to be honest Dragalge isnt really fit for your team either in my honest opinion. Your Pokés all revolve around a quick set-up with rain dance, speed boost and shell smash and killing stuff fast! Dragalge on the other hand is notorious for being that thick and slow sp. defensive wall that hits like a truck over the course of a battle and takes several blows to go down. you'll surely have your reasons to take one of those two mons, but if you'd be open to suggestions i'd say take either a Politoed or better yet a Pelipper for that instant drizzel Rain support. hope that helped, have a good run.
  20. Ok so, the keen observers among us noticed that the completion of the e19 scoreboard revolved around finishing the Elite_4 (according to Ame's DevBlog updates). Now what do you guys think, will the battle against the elite_4 really mark the end of the story-bound reborn experience OR was Ame just editing things out of their natural order in the story? And who do you think will be the new Champ of Reborn?!
  21. you first of need the power-items (powerbracer, -anclet and so on) from the store north of obsidia park (to access these you need at least 4 stickers). my fav grinding spot for any pkmn needing speed + an attack stat is the beginning of the underground railway. you only encounter woobats when stepping on the shadows on the ground, which are really close to the exit. the woobats are lvl 5 and give 1 speed ev. for defense + hp i really like fishing grimers with the old rod (1 hp ev) or rocksmashing for marcargos (2 def evs) at the vulcano. I think you notice the trend? go to a place, where you can predict with a certainty that you'll only ever encounter the same pokemon, so ev gain stays predictable. the main ev gain then will come from your power items.
  22. Now it hit me! the "Dragon" from the fairytale in titanias fairytaleland, OF COURSE, thats it!! I fought a Zekrom and battled Taka in the water treatment center as far as I remember... Eitherway the battle isnt the only thing that changes, is it? Is there some sort of spreadsheet or another way of gaining knowledge about what exactly is "branching" by choosing one route over the other?
  23. Thx for the quick reply. My last playthrough ended with beating hardys rock-type gym and seeing Lin fly away with a pillar-shaped object. If I understand correctly this means that I either. Quit the playthrough preemptively and missed a whole gym, or.. Failed to trigger a certain event before the fight with one of the gymleaders up to hardy, which didnt let to the coveted fight with the Zekrom/Reshiram.
  24. Heyho dudes and dudettes, I'm pokelost, what the heck are there Reshiram/ Zekrom routes? they are mentioned so darn often in the forums and with such a casualness. I played the game since like forever and (at least I thought so) explored everything to the full. But never did I encounter a Zekrom/ Reshiram, nor did anybody ingame mention them in any way. Is one of you privied Zekrom/Reshiram-devotees able to enlighten me? (A link to an old topic would do the trick, but I cant find one via the search function that explaines these top secret routes)
