  1. Joho, what do you guys think, which meteor grunt(s) will come too senses once whe approach the grand finale and help us combat the great evil?!? i'm definitely putting my money on the most gruntiest of them all. The infamous grunts Rod and Ringo! they will most definitely sacrifies their lives in an epic double battle against Lin.
  2. Jojo, I talked to the captain to toogle of the randomizer, I does not work, the randomized encounters keep on coming. Seems pandoras box cant be closed again!
  3. Heyho peeps, Hope that i'm not beating on a dead horse here, but I found something rather strange. I just now updated the version 18.2 to version 18.6 (im just before the fight with Solaris at the Vulcano) and when I went back to the cave at the grand stairway to catch some new Pokemon, at first I could not believe my luck, I encountered a TEPIG... After that I encountered a Horsea!... than a Machop!... (and a Dampa and a Wishiwashi, Aipom, Pikachu)... this was when I thought that I might post these encounters on here, since (I guess) they are somehow part of an error, or arent they. Are you supposed to get these?! Im not using any kind of mod. Feedback would be appreciated! have a nice day y'all PS: could it be i'm on sort of a randomizer, which did not work in 18.2 or starts to kick in after the Fight with Kiki? I'm fadely remembering agreeing to something of that kind on the Train in the intro part.
  4. hey peeps, do you know if the 19 holds a specific significance? I mean, was it meant to be the number of episodes up to the finale all the way? Or does it just so happen that the episodes accumulated to 19?
  5. Heyho, well, my game tells me, im about 250 hours deep.
  6. Half right It were Swampert, Aegislash and 2 Telluric Seeds, also a lvl 25 "wide guard" titouga. Thanks! That's comprehensibly I remember, honestly hats off for your remarkable train of thoughts. This might just be it.
  7. Hi community, Durp here! After completing the current episode I felt the urgency to express my deepest thanks for everyone that took part in creating this masterpiece. I want to take some time, to share all the things that went through my head regarding Reborn. First and foremost: it goes without saying that this game goes beyond everything an official Pokemon Game ever offered in gamelength, difficulty/balancing, story and character-development. It might be one of the best game in the while franchise and definitely shows what a game can be capable of, when developed with passion. The Story: It might be just me - I found the plot in E18 somewhat confusing. so the Pulses need a lot of energy to sustain their function (Pulse Mime and Clawitzer). So how could the Pulse Camerupt and Tangrowth be functional? Are the Victims of Guardevoirs Black Hole dead or lost in some different dimension (and who the F* is Shade to be able to just drag the protagonist from a black hole)? just as im writing this, im wondering what/if something happens if you lose the fight at Pulse Hypno as the opponents are your "friends".... why does Benett do not need glasses anymore, and who is his hair stylist????? :) How did Serra, Radomus and Luna (and all the others) get to the glass factory with Agate City shut of and otherwise only accessible via Rock Climb? The Fights/Puzzles: The Puzzles where in my opinion extremly well done to a point that im baffled about the creativity of the Dev-group! (loved the Larvitar puzzle) The Fights were very fair this Epsiode which is in my opinion due to the fact that there were no Pulse Mons or real challenging Field effects to encounter. would have loved to face that Pulse Hypno though :'|. Both The fights at the Pulse as well as Solaris were extremly straight forward good old Reborn Showdowns, not talking about Mr. "Rockslide everything" though! :D For the interested ones I use this team during the whole Episode: In conclusion I look forward to experience the conclusion of the plot. The day, the episode comes out i will donate an appropriate amount back for all these enjoyable moments until then, have a good day. Durp out!
  8. Hello everyone, durp here. So I just recently managed to advance into tourmaline desert and while i'd set out to experience the several sidequests there was a sudden realisation, which I want to discuss right now. (please be aware that I'd firmly avoided every spoiler in regard to pokemon/item locations up to now with the intend to experience the game uninfluenced) while exploring the desert, I found some nice treads, namely a gible, TM return/wildcharge and.... thats it..! With a sure feeling to have missed something I explored the desert again.. and again, but no cigarr (RIP at least 50 max repels). I than went onto the internet to get some hints and what I saw there blew my Voltorb™. 1. getting beldum by fainting while riding on a tauros! 2. getting TM Solar Beam by interacting with the colored books in the beryl libary in a certain manner (I actually was in that room and found it kinda fishy but NEVER would have come up with that). 3. getting charmander by casting your super rod in a VULCANO... hello?! 4.a. the mirage tower 4.b ...getting mimikyu by breaking ALL the glasses at mirage tower ground level. and so on. my point, or rather my question is: where these mysteries design with the intend to be solved by the means of community efford, or am I just not reading the possible hints ingame properly (the mitage tower for example was indeed mentioned here and there but I never would have thought how to reveal it). I would like to gather some feedback from the community (THAT MEANS YOU!) about your sight on the topic. For now, happy puzzle solving, I'm at the scrapyard now and enjoying the plot a lot. Durp out.
  9. there were no “easy“ gym battles for me. at first i think i SR'ed on every fight. things like samsons hawlucha or ayas dragalge you have to prepare for otherwise they will!! wreck you ... or you have blazekin or volcarona and just waltz through everything
  10. You did, huge thanks! i will most definitely try this one out!!!
  11. thanks for your input! Have to agree, sadly i've never managed to get one. been on an axew streak so far (gotten 3 in a row) as for playstyles, once ep.18 launches i'd love to try a team with terrain altering abilities like the pledge moves and mist... has anyone experience in running this strat?
  12. Aya 100%. Made me say very cruel things to my pc which I better never requote again...
  13. Hey, y'all. this is the showcase of my latest playthrough. at the end there will be a section discussing the ups and downs I dealt with during the run. Happy reading. Now to the Team.. now to the highs and lows summarizing i can say, this team made a ton of fun and it might just be the right thing for people, that dont want to switch up/ rotate their team members! hope you have a nice weekend. until then, Durp
  14. Greetings, How're you all doing? First time writer long time spectator..you know the drill! I'm a 26y/o dude from Germany. Pokemon was the the first game I played back in the day (had the Blue Version since imo Blastoise is cooler than Charizard ) and it been a staple of entertainment all the way up to Sun and Moon! I used to play a fair bit on Pokemon Online (PO) and Showdown competetively so if there are any Q's about competitive battling, feel free to ask Pokemon Reborn I found after playing through some R/S/E-themed romhacks and where thirsting for a more challenging content. (Started with Ep.12) Thought I'd make the introductory post a bit more fresh by sharing some of the playthrough-strategies I've used so far. that pretty much sums up my playthrough experiences. I would love to get some new input from you (maybe a completely new playthrough style). other than that I wish you a successful weekend and like everyone looking forward to ep. 18. see yaa Durp
