  1. Get well soon. May the 'Morning Sun' help you 'Recover', as you 'Slack Off' and 'Rest' until 'Moonlight'.
  2. Exp-all is not in reborn as of ep18.
  3. You certainly have a point. but seeing as we already have most of the Mega-Items available as of ep18, I'd doubt we will be restricted to not using just certain M-Evos/Mons all the way up to the postgame. In terms of postgame rewards, i'd love to have something like... a password that lets you play a nuzlocke or a randomizer a book with extended backstory for some of the characters like Dr. Connal or DJ Arclight or Sirius An adress for a donation for Ame and the staff (for non-members of course) A secret recipe for healthy muffins.
  4. Raichu is really hindered by its weak defensive stats, which means that it will faint from most attacks in 1-2 hits.
  5. I always found these kind of rewards a bit awkward. Reminds me of Final Fantasy, where you get the best weapon and armor as reward for defeating the hardest boss in the game. That made me always wonder... why?!
  6. My tip: look up the E19 exclusive Fields. starlight arena new world field as these fields will be the place for the last big fights, plan 1-2 pokemon out that use the fields strength.
  7. heyho is the master fight guy in amarias gym actually underwater? im at the point, where the gym fight starts but havent found him yet.
  8. i wonder, if we get every mega item available in the e19 main plot, will the nightclub challenges hold any valuable rewards (besides the pride of course)
  9. ouh yeah, Cresselias implementation is starting! love that stalling Moonduck! cant wait to engineer the perfect postgame team. In gen 6 I got that 200 win streak with M-kangaskhan, Aegislash and Talonflame. This time its going to be even more broken!
  10. ..hmm, but then again, would it stand any chance against titania, kiki and hardy on their respective fields. Aurora Veil Ninetales-A I think should be a staple in most teams. I also thought along the lines of a Raindance team, since its biggest counters [Julia, Florina] seem easiest to circumvent despite the weakness. for example A pelipper, M-Swampert lead, or something along the lines.
  11. assuming every gym leader gets to play on their respective field, Amaria (water surface) will give an offensive team massive trouble. (and except fotr volcarona you bring a big fairy weakness) the defensive variant sounds good, but variants like Hardy, which hit hard and fast (and flinch -,-), or Adrienne (Mist field) being resistant to status conditions due to the mist will give some trouble, dont they?
  12. heyyo mates, just out of couriosity. Did any of you mess around with the perfect team for the upcoming challenges in the nightclub? If so unless your teamidea is top secret, please share it with me/us. Correct me if I'm wrong but the “Boss Rush“ mode for example will have you battle all the gym leaders in order without swapping team members. And quite frankly I cant think of any combination that will not horribly lose against at least one gymleader (more like two or three, uff). So i'd love to get your input!
  13. once Pelipper is available i'd recommend it over Politoed, since it is also a Flying type that can get rid of Fighting types which are among the main counters to lapras.
  14. my tips: get a steel cloak wormadame. It learns quiver dance at 20 and will wreck every gym until hardy, which is well in the game. DO NOT evolve snivy and put him in the box until after Serras gym fight. he learns Leafstorm at around lvl 48, so he will greatly benefit your team come Noel, Radomus and Luna
  15. I'd love to have something like a "postgame attack relearner", which lets you relearn eggmoves, which would shave off the need to crossbreed. Dont get me wrong I like the crossbreeding thing, but it needs a kind of timeconsumption which does not make it worth it in many cases onless you are absolutely sure, the eggmove will be havily needed, you dont experiment with eggmoves a lot. A postgame "battle-master" that gives your pokemon a huge amount of EXP to relief the grinding for new teammembers. The S/M silver and gold IV-enhancement thingies to min/max your mons for the final challenges. a Pokegear-Tool that shows the different wild Pokémon in the area you'r currently in so you always know, which mons escaped your collection (could be a postgame enhancement aswell). A big chunk of backstory! (one for every meteor grunt ;-P)
  16. Heyho mates, so... this "urgent matter" came to me after I basically just found a treasure of knowledge unintentionally. While playing through the Reborn Redux Mod by Commander, I oddly had to battle Taka at the trainstation in the desert. Maybe I'm just numb for these kind of storyshifts, since I dont remember doing anything differently but ANYWAY, after I beat him, Taka offered his help, which I accepted. While on exploration in the desert Taka basically spouted a ton of info, and gave background context on the "Gible-Cave" and the Mirage Tower. I'm honestly admiring Ames love for detail but the sad point is: I can't shake of the feeling that there is some much well hidden backstory which, if you dont know better, stays hidden for you. As the story in itself and especially these tidbits of background are so intriguing that would be a real shame especially for people that play mostly for the story. So I'd love to kick of somewhat of a "backalley-topic" dedicated to the party of the story that may interest many people but is too hidden to be accesible to them. So here is a starter, Takas backstory for the Gible Cave and Mirage Tower
  17. You can consider a Wolverock (my recommendation: midnight form), as it is decently fast, hits hard and physical, is rock type and through its ability you will always hit your stone edges/ rock slides 100%
  18. Wormadame is immune to poison and learns psybeam (2 poison gyms, 1 fighting gym) resists bug and ice and hits back with Quiver Dance boosted Mirror Shot (Shelly, Serra) Its great against Taka & ZEL, being able to resist all their stuff and set up on them. After Serra I usually drop, although this Bug-beast will put in the Work against Noel, Radomus and Luna aswell. Imo it is one of the most underrated Pokémon, Quiver Dance at level 20, Struggle bug, bug buzz and mirror shot STAB early on. Yeah.
  19. For the ("one-time-use") classic mons, for Julia: Lightning Rod - Goldeen! for Florina and onward up until Aya: Wormadame (steel cloak) after Aya the game starts to open up tremendously. The move relearner, many new Pokemon in Tanzan and Byxbysion. My designated powerhouse Darmanitan is obtainable just then and im not kidding when I tell you, this baby singlehandedly wins you battles all the way up to the end.
  20. Persevering through these coding problems is worth a proper applause! When I coded in university, it was mostly a chore and makes me admire this projects work even more. Not to stick my head up the stuffs butt, but if I had the free choice of having a brunch with whoever i wanted, I'd probably choice Ame (and make a list of questions so big, postgame would have to be delayed by another week)
  21. Lickitung, since his evolution looks hideous and has no real place in the game, be it competitively or in the casual game, since it is in most gens pretty hard to catch in the first place.
  22. so it really depends, which battle format gives you the most trouble. For Singles: Cloyster, Mamoswine, Weavile (Depending which secondary type complements your offensive best. To feedback your comment about a defensive Ice-type. Ice-type-Pokémon are historically bad at being defensive and a secondary type only adds to the plenty weaknesses. If you want a defensive Ice mon, there are 2 good mono-Ice options: Avalugg on the defensive side Cryogonal on the SDef side For Doubles: A-Ninetales (100% Blizzard, Aurora Veil), no real alternatives regarding the “best“ Ice type.
  23. Hey, Help me, I am on the verge off throwing my PC out of the window. The Serra Master Fight in the Glitch field just.wrecks.me!!! I can even get past the first 3 Pokémon, M-Glalie, Frosslass and Cyogonal, they might as well just have Blizzard as they dont use anything else and it wrecks even my resistant Pokémon. My team for Serra is: Salazzle Primarina Vanilluxe the other mons I had to switch out, since they where oneshot by Blizzard. some input would be deeply appreciated.
  24. There will be (minor) changes to the game. Iirc none of them will be especially big. (And the 8Gen Pokémon will not be implemented into the game)
