  1. Ah, no that's not really the issue. It's mainly just that the desert is enormous. I don't want the map to be too large and messy. For reference this is just part of the desert showing where the mirage locations may spawn Just straight up stitching the map pieces from RPG maker would make an enormous map that would require scrolling, and I kind want something more user friendly. There's also a lot of information I'm not sure about how to display on the map yet, little details such as the TM that's in the spot of the Mirage tower when the tower isn't actually there. I'm just not too sure about how to go about it yet.
  2. There's about 6 or 7 TM's in the desert if I remember correctly. I usually have a map ready for myself or write really quick weird notes on it, so I don't even have that good of a description for the locations. The desert and it's dungeons, towers, and caves are also massive with odd layouts so it's kinda difficult to make an accurate map of them.
  3. Eventually yes, along with completing the Dex. I'm waiting for E19 though since I want those to be as accurate as possible. They'll be some of the last videos to come out but I do want to put those out as some sort of easy search and find index.
  4. I'm excited to be so close to the current end-game. Each step further on screen is a bit of a shock because at the beginning I didn't really think this was going to go as far as it has.
  5. Actually, funny that you mention that, since I just finished up with Deino, Larvitar and Jangmo on screen.
  6. I believe so, but I'm not really sure about that. Have you considered using a mod to change the weather? There should be a mod in this pack that'll do the trick if you're interested-
  7. We have mods for almost everything the OP listed except for the side quest list. I don't think there's anything I want that the devs haven't thought of already.
  8. That's the only exp share in the game currently. If you want another though you could go ahead and try asking someone to trade you one.
  9. Honestly, seeing NPCs actually being ungrateful is refreshing, at least if you look at from a perspective of comparing the games to the official core series of games. Of course as with other story elements, you can get carried away pretty easily.
  10. It's been on my to-do list to update the maps I have of the Azurine Lake underwater areas, and I figured I might as well throw the Fiore Gym map in here as well. Azurine Lake Maps Just some notes on these maps- /The orange text means that key is inside of the hut it's labeling /The red text means that key is what is required to open that hut /The red Xs mean that the hut requires a key but there is no way to get that key currently(to my knowledge, let me know if corrections need to be made) /The above water areas are shown on the map so you know where to dive, and also to show off the items you can find in each general area. Fiore Gym Maps /The letters labeling the dive spots on the first map correspond to the rooms you dive into on the second one. /The red Amarias show her locations in the order that you find them assuming you didn't battle Taka in the Water Treatment Center while the normal colored Amarias show her locations in the proper order that you visit them if you did battle Taka in the WTC. Above Water Underwater I feel as if I could have potentially made the Fiore Gym's underwater map look neater by allowing some portions to overlap since it seems to have multiple levels, but some rooms wouldn't have made sense even then. I'm thinking about maybe making a model in blender though.
  11. I agree to a degree, but for the most part I don't think you can really use debug to skip most of the areas people consider to be the most unpleasant. Besides, we have a variety of mods on these forums that can give Reborn lots of quality of life features to lessen frustrations and annoyances or just make the game a tiny bit more cozy to play casually. There's very little legitimate use for the mod besides getting to certain events with it or getting yourself out of a soft locked situation, which are pretty rare.
  12. Shame on whoever decided to try attacking these forums, people really need to find better things to do with their time. Also I appreciate the new rule or guideline for Debug Dealing. I feel as if people are way too quick to go into that mode to solve any "problems" they encounter at times. People need to slow down and figure things out for themselves sometimes and we should be encouraging that attitude. Besides that, trying to fix something that isn't broken will actually break it.
  13. Are you sure you attempted to replace the actual save file and not the game files themselves? Your save file tends to be in a completely different folder from the actual game files that you download. On windows your save files should be in a folder called: C:\Users\YourNameHere\Saved Games\Pokemon Reborn Also when you change save files you need to either delete the current save file which is listed simply as "Game.rxdata" or change it's name to something such as "Game2.rxdata" so that you can rename the backup file to "Game.rxdata". Anyways, I'd go ahead and try to redownload the game and go from there.
  14. Yeah I understand that bit. There isn't enough detail in the AI to understand that it could get a burn from Scald or Confusion from using Whirlpool on that field. I kinda wish there was. And yeah, I dislike the gauntlet for the same reasons. I just appreciate that a gauntlet also offers a variety of opponents and scenarios, so you have to try to have sort of a more balanced team. I think I vaguely remember someone mentioning that the gym lights change color. I didn't really need to try since I just straight up mapped out the entire area. She's always in those same exact 3 spots which change depending on the path you take, and I appreciate how regardless of which path you take there's a convenient point for you to grab the TM down there. Mapping that area out gave me a newfound appreciation for that area as I realized that some areas overlap and are on sort of a different level. It makes me want to make a 3D model of it, but that would probably confuse people more. And yeah, almost. If I finish early, I'm actually thinking that I might start a series on Rejuv. A couple people asked, and I've played through quite a bit of Rejuv and really enjoyed it. I do also have a few more videos that I want to make on Reborn outside of the walkthrough, but I don't want to start those until E19 is out. Happy Holidays to you too, and thanks for the support!
  15. Yeah, I actually did go through a few revives with the Eustace battle. I'd have to check his stats in the pbs files, but I know his team members are around level 86-90, and I probably didn't have any team members higher than 86 if that. Amaria definitely isn't weak either. I do know about freezing the field because that's what I did in my original play through, but I really don't remember anything after that. I also actually had a play through where I just spammed air ballons on every Pokemon I had and somehow managed, but again my memories a bit fuzzy on that one too. Shedninja was definitely a delight, it's not something I've actually used before. It's a bit more complicated than you'd think. Shedninja doesn't even get Hone Claws, so you're forced to use X items to boost. I'm also really shocked that Amaria's AI panics and breaks down instead of trying to either Scald or Whirlpool Shedninja. Her Lapras is amazing setup bait though, even if it takes forever to faint as it'll setup curses and rest. It's funny because if her Lapras had Shellarmour I wouldn't be able to crit through it's Curses, but without Hydration I'd just use Toxic and wait it out instead. Normally I do try to stay away from gimmicks for battles but Shedninja was just so much fun to work with and seeing Amaria's AI break and actually start swapping Pokemon in and out at random because it had no idea what to do was worth it. The upcoming gauntlet is definitely my favorite. I dislike having to use revives in gauntlet challenges during the battles as it's annoying(one pokemon basically tanks while you spam revive the rest of the team), but it's a long challenge and when you get through it, it feels super rewarding, especially if you handle it really well. If you go beyond that and get a flawless victory with a sweep or just having none of your party faint then it's an amazing feeling. Gauntlets are also nice as you can't rely on gimmicks or stack for what you're going to be going up against. I think a big prediction for E19 is that there's going to be some sort of boss battle with Arceus and I really, really hope it's part of a gauntlet. This ensures that you bring your best overall team, and that if you want to bring Prankster Murkrow with you then you're losing a slot on your party(although I suppose some may just train Murkrow up, give it protect and maybe Eviolite to make it less dead weight). Anyways thanks for the good wishes, I'll do my best! Also, I fixed the levels in the description. I usually get those from the wiki instead of straight from the PBS. Originally I did link people to the wiki, but I started feeling guilty because that could lead to a lot of spoilers. For other games besides Reborn or even when E19 comes out, I'll likely be using all the info straight from the PBS and creating the sheets from scratch.
  16. Managed to get this done in between holidays. If I missed anything let me know.
  17. I can't really say whether any of this is true or not. People are still going to buy and play it. Whether it underperforms is really down to the perspective of the player, however, we can see there are issues so far. Just because some people are willing to roll over and accept or ignore these issues doesn't make them non-existent, it just means those people are easily pleased. The national dex was the tipping point, especially with how it was handled alongside Pokemon Home but other issues such as graphics, the loss of gimmicks and the fact that with each and every addition to the core series of games there's been less and less of a postgame. Add in the extra cost due to it being a switch game and the fact that you have to pay for online services, and there's a bit of an issue. Expectations are higher now more than ever because of the price increases as well as how the switch cartirdge can store as much as 8 times the amount of data that the 3ds carts could. Is it still going to be a pokemon game? Yeah. Despite everything, it'll likely still be somewhat enjoyable, even if it isn't as good as it could be. It doesn't change the fact that future generations will continue to have cutbacks, and eventually the games will cease to be enjoyable for that reason either. Absolutely no one wants these games to be bad or not up to standards though and we know that GF is capable of so much more. That's all.
  18. Thanks, glad you enjoy! I don't know if I'll ever do a let's play or at least, not on Reborn. It's a great game, but after 100% I'll be looking for something new to take a break from it. Terra's Quag is definitely irritating to deal with without any kind of preparation. You would need to completely overpower it and I'm not sure if anything in the game at that point can do that. Titania was just spamming Excadrill along with abusing the magical seeds. Her Aegislash is terrifying and the only thing that can cleanly take it out is probably a Diggersby since it's immune to Shadow Sneak. +2 Attack with STAB boosted Shadow Sneak coming off 150 BP attack hurts a lot. I'm not sure if there's any part of the game that's terribly difficult. I do find that the gauntlets are frustrating because no matter what you're going to have to burn through revives while your members on the field try to tank hits. I think I'd say the Fiore Mansion is more difficult than the upcoming gauntlet. Having full control of your team in double battles is important. Florinia and Julia have good teams, good mons, but you don't get to choose the order they're sent out, or choose their moves, unlike in the upcoming gauntlet. As for Taka's Chatot, I don't know. I just checked my own PBS files, and I got the same information. Maybe it was changed, I'm not sure. I know that on the forums it was mentioned at some point. I'd like to believe it was changed, but I could just be wrong too. I do know that EV overflow is supposed to be a consistent game mechanic eventually as it's mentioned at the current endgame by a friendly NPC in Calcenon city. I'll make a note of it in that video's description. Thanks for all the feedback, and thanks for the support!
  19. It's such a bad response. The community is all fired up again thanks to it because it really shows that they just don't care. I'm thrilled the community is taking a stand for itself again, although some of the responses I've read on twitter are disheartening. There are a lot of details that are up for debate, but to ignore some of them such as the knowledge that the models used in SwSh are simply re-scaled poly models from X/Y is obnoxious.
  20. Next part means I have to cover path differences, that's going to be plenty of fun.
  21. To add onto Swampellow's answer you can work on one reconstruction project after the 14th(Adrienn's) badge, on another project or two projects after the 15th and 16th badges, and after the 17th badge you can work on all three.
  22. It looks neat but I'm not sure how it'll fare. People already dislike having to pay for pokebank(6 usd/7cad a year, seriously? Complain about the inevitable DLC you have to pay for with SwSh on the switch or nintendo's online services, but not about pokebank), and then there's those who complain about the amount of MTX in Pokemon Go despite the fact that they're absolute addicts. It could be really good, and it could also be a total cash grab.
  23. It's just a discussion that was on-going over on the reborn reddit. We also found a few ways that they could win against it, but nothing really pleasant, most of it was very rng heavy.
  24. I believe this person is doing an electric monorun(or is asking for a person doing an electric monorun).
