      When my dad gets an indian scammer call, he usually keeps them on the line for as long as possible to keep them from calling somebody else. Then he cusses them out.

    Any Smash Bros game. Demon's Souls and Dark Souls 1 had hype openings where Dark Souls gives you a glance of the game's bosses and lore in an epic way. Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch had a very emotional opening which was pretty good.

    The game should be fun. Player vs Player (multiplayer). Procedural level generation. (not required, but offers more) The game should be challenging. More than one way to play the game. Polished and balanced game mechanics. I think these points are what would make me keep playing the game. Here are some examples: Spelunky, Super Smash Bros., Rocket League, Dark Souls.
