The topic is about "difficulty settings" and not about how to beat certain gym leaders or am I mistaken? I would like a difficulty setting, something similar to Rejuvenation. (Intense Mode ) That would bring me back to the old days of Red/Blue/Yellow where you are trying to defeat a team of lvl 60s with a team of lvl 50s. (nostalgia...)

Cubchoo: Ranian Forest in the snow area or in Fling Cove. You can access both areas very late in the game. Shelder: Dont have it yet in my Pokedex.

For each new gen: Taking the starter that has the better design (in my opinion). Training only new gen Pokemon. If there arent that many (like in X/Y), then I take older gens too, but only those that will fit in typing. I like Psychic types, so I almost always consider to have one in my team. For repeating runs: Build a solid team of Pokemon that I do not use that often. I still end up using a Psychic type every time .

Anything that will paralyze Mewtwo or has a high Special Stat, will help you out (Magneton/Magnezone has both). If you have a Helioptile (I am pretty sure that you mean a Heliolisk ), you could trade a Heartscale to let it remember Thunder Wave. In my case, I had a Luxray with Thunder Wave and a Gardevoir with Calm Mind. (See Reborn Trainer Card)

It is not always true that multiple Pokemon of the same types are not good. If your opponent has several types that are weak to your team, then it is ok to repeat a type. (each gym has only a single type... so when the opponent is using 6 Psychic types, why dont you use 4 dark types and 2 ghost types?) There is no perfect team for a play through (at least when you play Intense Mode). You will always have to switch out to team members that suit better to the current matchup. I am not entirely sure at which point, but I think it is after beating the 4th gym, that there is amlost in all cities a trainer with 3 Audino's where you can easily grind exp. Basically, you can replace or even rebuild your team at any time to be perfectly prepared for each situation.

I think your team will get in Trouble once you get to fight Charlotte. Except...

Welcome back! In the past, I had a C:\ drive failure due to some broken sections in the hard disk. The only solution was to replace the hard disk without having a backup of the data. My first 3 Reborn runs where on this disk... so I am know indeed how you feel .

That is a tough question that depends on the character of the person/people of which you are interacting with. When you are trying to talk about a topic that doesnt suit you at all, well... it can only go wrong. In any case, dont push yourself by trying to be always the one with the most attention. Most people like to talk about themselves and will like you when you listen to them and reply to what they've said. If you are not comfortable while talking to certain people, you can always leave the conversation. You basically cant get all people to acknowledge or like you . Some People do also not always want to interact with you based on their mood or situation. In my case... I do often wait and listen to the person(s) for a couple of seconds, so that I can get the topic of their current conversation. If I feel like I want to join them, I start up with a funny aspect of the topic while I walk in their direction and depending on their reaction I walk up to them or past them (dont take this as an advice, if this does not fit your personality).

I've played a game once where there was an item called "Tarot Card". It gave the player the chance of surviving a critical hit. I will finish my current run and restart with a different team or theme. (I had no Water only run yet, so... Popplio? )

What I've also recognized is, that there are multiple save files, so I tried to start from an older one again. It did not help, because the Mining Kit was nowhere to find. Apparently, there was a patch at the download page, which I did not notice before. After updating the files, the cell entrace will stay open at the same point of the game. So, finally it worked. Well, thank you regarding this Information.

I am currently playing Rejuvenation v9 and am stucked in the prison cell of blacksteeple castle at day 2. There is a wall where I remember to mine in previous versions, but I do not have the Explorer Kit in this version yet. So... What am I supposed to do and can anybody help me out? Good old Agility+Wrap Dragonite

I remember to read a post that it was once possible to breed a Cubone with Play Rough, but only in the first versions of X/Y. It got removed in later updates of X/Y and is not available in any further versions or generations anymore. In case that you have an unused X/Y with Version 1.0 available, you could eventually breed it. However, as soon as you update the game, it will not be possible anymore. (I do not have the source to that post) For the reason that "it was possible to obtain the move at some point", the move remains in Smogon.
