Are there any good grinding spots before the Fairy gym? The Grand Hall trainers are well beyond the level cap for me.

Here's some logic:
I always get told to let my emotions flow as the come so I don't become a ticking time bomb. But on the other hand the second I seem to ge slightly annoyed at something (like noise from partying teens while trying to sleep... I feel old now) my mom will instantly say "stay calm".
So... I should let emotions out, but not get annoyed? Things like this genuinely confuse the living daylight out of me because I can't stay calm while annoyed without bottling said feeling up, but I shouldn't bottle feeling up because the last time that happened I punched someone knock out...
-
It's not ideal to bottle the feelings, however in most cases it's not worth it to lose your composure. I suppose the only thing to do when you're faced with such a tricky situation is to speak to the person candidly or in a toned down version about your displeasure and hope it leads to a solution without conflict.

I've really got to hand it to you Lykos. You've wished many people a happy birthday firsthand, but were any of those wishes quite like this one? Guess you can't handle that truth...
Or maybe all this time you've had the upper hand over all of us! Well you've forced my hand now Lykos, so I must wish you a Happy Birthday! You are hands down, the most LykosHandsome guy I know!

I don't know if eveyrthing goes mentally well for me these days. Last night, when I decided to keep my writings up, there was a moment when I just burst in tears since I was just in the middle of my work. That was just as if one simple breeze was enough to make you capsize

It's fine, even I face certain moments every now and then where I worry too much. Taking some time off after an intense period of meeting deadlines and completing tasks has helped me rejuvenate myself. After couple of months of long hours of work, I felt drained; but recently I went out of station for a couple days and now I feel better. A periodic change of scenery is indispensable. Also, do not compromise on sleep. As Jack Ma said : What keeps Jack Ma awake at night? "Nothing! If I don't sleep well, the problem will still be there. If I sleep, I have a better chance to fight it." Hope this helps

Looking for a good music player, I find I dislike Itunes and the default Windows one any suggestions?

XD Having fun, making a playlist for my dad, listening to a bunch of older artists quite interesting, if any one has any suggestions he likes anything but rap but likes roc/metal the best
-
I haven't heard of Cinderella band. I mainly listen to Progressive/alternative rock and indie. Here's another one,
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mellon_Collie_and_the_Infinite_Sadness
It is regarded as one of the best albums of the nineties.
I will stop here now, give all of these a listen, I don't want to give "an excess of everything" problem. I hope most of these suggestions are accessible.

Glad that you liked Radiohead
Check out the following album too, A Brief Inquiry into Online Relationships, Studio album by The 1975; it was released on November 30th. It has a unique style and very relatable lyrics.

Then just play Pulse , live album by Pink Floyd. About 2.5 hours of bliss.

This 9.5 minutes version of Comfortably numb song is magical. I love it.

alright, so here's the scoop: I've almost reached my breaking point. lately I've just been thinking too much, about how even my best wasn't enough, and how I always end up the one alone. And I came to a few conculsions: 1) I'm a stepping stone for the "hero" of the love stories I happen to wander into. Just an obstacle that will never win, no matter what. 2) I should just abandon hope, because every damn time I'm hopeful for something, it will just get pissed on. Honestly, I'm just sick of it all. When can I get a happy ending? When can I be the Knight on the White horse? When will me opening my heart to someone not end with a stake through it?
And here's my favorite part: I can only laugh about it all. I want to cry my eyes out, I want to just lie in my bed the next 24 hours and sob like a newborn, but I just can't
I doubt anyone here is actually gonna read all that, or much less care. but yeah

I do not have any experience of being in a relationship, and I do not know if the following helps or not; but I would like to convey a sentence I heard in a movie anyways. “You can only cruise the boulevards of regret so far, and then you've got to get back up onto the freeway again.” - Inherent Vice. As seki mentioned, take time off and focus on doing other things which would be fun and bring a smile.

So I've seen a lot of people talking about how pop music has gotten objectively worse and pointing to the fact that there's less and less variation in music as time goes on
But, if there's a "right" way to make music, then inevitably more and more music would move towards it, meaning that the best music would have the least variety, not the most
That doesn't mean I necessarily believe it's better or worse, just that if we're going to claim there's an objectively correct way to do music, then it would be the most refined and least varied music

A slightly click bait article on what you have mentioned. Yes, it's true that production is what makes pop music. To be fair, it's not very easy to come up with simple four by for melody which will stick in a person's head, which is what pop music trying to achieve with it's hook and repeated chorus. A good ear for melody will be appreciated in whatever form. Steven Wilson had also mentioned that pop music has everything that good music should; except substance, That's what makes it more entertainment and less art.

Anyone know a good grinding spot to prep for Noel's battle after the whole Giant Steelix fiasco? Need to get the team a few levels! Wasn't sure if the caves were my best bet or not. Thanks!
