Over breakfast many of the groups brightest sit down and work out a solid plan for the battle, some ideas are discarded as unfeasible but most are worked in. During the battle the following effects will be enacted: Tattletale will grab one of the villagers and go get the ships should things start going bad. (Arminius) Everyone moves more efficiently on the walls, gaining 2 to their Dex when determining moves-per-round. (Satomi) Everyone deals an extra 5 damage with their first hit each round. (Leo) The Borean Strider will make a flanking sneak attack some time during the battle. (Lucille)

Another dawn, another day, nothing terribly important to note. The Barkeep asks for more mushrooms to make more potions with. The Blacksmith is working on making various weapons and armor for the villagers. [65] Over night several of the villagers keeping watch report seeing goblin scouts around, the army must be getting close. Like wise one of the countless traps around the village is found to have a scout among the normal assortment of animals and slimes. Characters get +1 to their first roll today due to better sleeping conditions. The Goblin army is getting closer and could be here any hour(I've rolled for a random time).

Frigus winced as several bullets tore through his armor like paper, he really needed to improve his armor, but well there were plenty of other things he needed to do as well. Pushing past that he could see the large red thing Nader was asking about in the coms, it was actively charging both him and Rachel. He spoke up over the coms, specifically reaching Nader and Rachel. "After Nader confuses it I'm going to try and pull big ugly out of there and hopefully give him some friends to beat on for a while." With that Frigus paused a second or two before reaching out towards a point somewhere between the Berserker and the two nearby Troops, with a shout of the word "Force!" a spiral of purple, pink, and blue energy flew out and coalesced into a tiny event horizon at the chosen point. Frigus delays his turn until after Nader then uses Gravity(Draw) on the Advent Troopers in C4 and the Berserker in D5, drawing them all to D4. For two rounds damage dealt to any of the targets is also dealt to the others.

Iva quietly moved over towards the ladder, attemptimg to stay out of sight. She trys to look over the ladder a little more closely than before. -
Frigus brought his glider around and took a slightly slower pass, once he reached the right angle he gestured downwards and shouted "Freeze!" Sending a plume of ice magic down on the Advent troops below. Frigus uses Blizzard(Blast) on the collective four Advent Troopers in tiles B5 and C5, this deals 3d8+9 cold damage to each and reduces their Init by 3(kinda irrelevant here). He, Harry, and the Runner lose their 10% dodge chance.

Tim pauses to think for a second, images of priceless golden idols and enchanted artifacts passed through his mind. The young Necromancer might have a point, while the cost of firing his Hyperkinetic lens was negligible(a few minutes spent in the direct sunlight) there was always the possibility of finding something worthwhile in the belongings of their foes. "The cost is negligible, Laws of conserving energy and mass be damned. But the risk of fighting them isn't so great as to need to pull out all the stops right away. So...if you all want to fight the cultists more directly I could dial back my weapon and open the door instead of blowing away the whole house." Tim directs his final question to the group as a whole, rather than just Freya.

Effects: Gains 2 Eve every turn, 40% Action failure chance due to his flaw ADAM Ghosts ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ After blasting the man on the throne with dozens of poisonous insects and taking a minor beating from the various monsters here about Friedhold decided it was time to dive for cover and try not to die. Basic Defense, reduce incoming damage by 50%.

Big, dumb, and really pissed off: Name: Gruk-lug Race: Half-Orc Age: 19 Background: After a childhood of being constantly taunted and teased for his Orcish nature Gruk signed up for the military as early as they would let him. Sadly however this didn't change much, but his hulking size and skill with a weapon was something that was at least mostly useful. Still didn't keep him from getting all the shit jobs. Appearance: Tall, broad shouldered, greenish skin tone, and a flat nose. Your standard Half-Orc. Stats: Dexterity: 11 Awareness: 10 Strength: 14 Intelligence: 8 Skills: Swordsmanship, Tactics, and Toughness. Equipment: Smoothbore Musket with ammunition, gunpowder that doesn’t really work well in this weather and plug bayonet, saber, club, knife, rubber boots, hard leather helmet, and a metal breastplate that rusts all too easily in this weather and 10 silver coins in a sack are all standard issue. Spicy HG: HP: 50/70 Stats: Con:8, Dex:0, Int:0, Str:10, Syn:12, .EXE:5/32(0/4lvls). Active Cooldowns: None! Effects: Damage(dealt) cannot be reduced below 25%, 15% DR vs Physical damage. Immune to fire damage, Takes double cold damage. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Spicy HG was obviously irritated, and who wouldn't be? Judging by the shear number of "Miss!"s that came up when she repeatedly slashed at the Lahmu. She didn't let it distract her too much and followed up by launching an attack at one of the bigger, uglier monsters wrapping it in magical binds. Spicy HG uses Sealing Slash on Greater Lahmu B preventing its use of all non-item actions for 2 rounds and dealing (2d10+10)*75% damage.

Tim sighed and shook his head. It was clear to him this machine just wasn't listening to him and he was starting to agree with the weasel more and more every minute they stood around it. Damn mechanists and their shoddy hap-hazard work, almost as bad as a Thaumaturge. Thinking of shoddy hap-hazard work, it looked like he would need to work on his collector some time later. "Now that we've fixed the 'Flower God', anyone want to go clear out some cultists?" After addressing the party Tim turned his attention back to Tiffany once more. "If you can get me a clear shot a few hundred feet out from the Stockade and in relative safety I'll blow it and anything remotely nearby into the next world."

Being far too concerned and nervous to actually start climbing then Ferris Wheel yet Iva stayed in the shadows and waited, trying to find a way around to a ladder or something that would take her closer to the entrance to the labyrinth. -

Effects: Gains 2 Eve every turn, ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ For the most part Friedhold didn't speak, instead a soft buzzing started to fill the air around him, then a loud buzzing and by the time anyone looked over there was a swarm of massive wasps flying towards the man on the throne. Friedhold uses ADAM boosted Insect Swarm III on Gilgamesh, dealing 18 poison damage every round for six rounds. This costs four ADAM and four Eve, Friedhold gains 40% action failure chance next round.

"Whoa, major deja-vu. Anyone else feel like they just sat through that speech, only a few feet to the left or something? Uhh actually it's probably just me, forget I said anything." With that out of the way she made towards the mass of horrors and started striking in quick succession. Spicy HG uses Rush Technique on Lesser Lahmu B, this deals 3d4 attacks for two damage each ignoring the first three points of DR.

Around the Village: Rose goes to see the Guide and ask him about the strange magical rod she found in the ruins. Lucille works on a type of Bamboo with shoots that remain dormant until they detect the vibration of something the right size and weight walking over them at which point they spring up from the ground with great velocity to drive a hardened point into whatever unfortunate soul was standing above. She litters these in the forest South and West of the Village. The Carpenter spent most of last night studying Satomi's Medium Siege Crossbow and then most of the morning recreating a working copy of it to mount somewhere on the walls. The Gun Merchant spends his time working on a very powerful and mostly illegal Arapaima .50 Machine Gun. He'll setup and operate it somewhere on the wall during the siege. Amelie & Tattletale start to talk and decide it's in their's and the party's best interest to move the ship to The Frozen Lake until after the siege since Tattletale doesn't think any Goblins with go that far north. They head into town briefly to inform the party and will be back tonight after moving them.

Iva pulled back behind her cover and hatched a simple plan. She needed to distract the cops somehow so that she could get over to the crime scene without being seen. First she put her hand near the ground near the stall she was hiding behind, then she channeled a small amount of magic to grow a thin sheet of slippery ice in a rough circle. Then she found something small that would make a bit of noise before hiding inside the food stall. The idea was that she'd make some kind of noise to get the cops to come check, then when they slipped and fell on the ice she'd make a quick escape through the stall to the side opposite the ice, and hide somewhere by the Ferris Wheel before they got up and returned to their car. Check: Ice Control: +10 Magic Limit: +5 Purity used: 0 Total: +15 -
Spicy HG stood there sheepishly and nodded softly as Mitsurugi spoke. "I'm sorry again. I guess this is something we're going to have to figure out on our own. Thank you for trying to understand though." She straightened up and looked around, noticing the Barracks was almost empty at this point and people were probably gathering for the next fight. "I think I've taken more than my fair share of your time at this point, I should let you be in peace until the next fight." With that Spicy HG made her good byes and wandered off to some other part of the Castle.

Iva slunk back behind the buildings, perhaps she'd be able to sneak around towards the Ferris Wheel past the cop while he was busy dealing with the others She was still a bit worried about getting caught, but she was always worried now wasn't she? She didn't have any clue who those thee older kids were, but she figured it wouldn't be too far fetched to use them as an excuse if she did get caught. She could probably fake being lost given she'd already been actually lost twice today. While she walked she kept an eye out for any more cops and any signs of the witch's labyrinth. -

Iva wasn't remotely happy to see Kyubey, first of all he appeared during her plan ride, where she was already nervous enough, and on top of that he had the audacity to wake her up after only just having fallen asleep. Needless to say the conversation was fairly one sided as Iva was very angry and trying very hard not to think about the fact that she was several thousand feet above an unmeasurable abyss of water and darkness, or that the slightest engine malfunction might sends them spiraling to their deaths, or that someone on this very plan might try to high-jack it and blow them all up! (Iva had a bit of an overactive imagination, and not the good kind.) A day or two later Iva made the excuse of staying at the apartment for a while while her parents went out and about. Of course she used this time to sneak out and go witch-hunting(despite how terrified she was about being caught). She remembered hearing something on the news about a body being found in the nearby old amusement park, and honestly she couldn't think of a scarier or more appropriate place for a witch to be hiding. She eventually found it(a bit late having gotten lost due to nerves twice on the way) and squeezed her way through a small hole in the fence on the back side. She slowly wandered around past all of the frightening dilapidated buildings and was just making it around the "House of Mirrors" when she heard shouting coming from the main strip, so despite every fiber of her being telling her to run and never look back she quietly stuck her head out and watched the group of people from a generous distance. -
"Well I certainly do not enjoy using a Little Girl to get it. Though I am confidant that at this point nothing short of a small nuclear bomb would be enough to kill her." Not strictly true, while Friedhold wasn't entirely sure to what extent her body was resistant she might have a chance with the fallout and outer blast of the explosion. Either way anything that destroyed her ADAM slug completely would probably kill her. Friedhold shrugged at the second comment. "I would have liked to worked in a proper lab, but I can not say this place is very much worse than my previous workplace, if at all." Friedhold stopped and listened to Mira explain how her Magra worked before continuing with several questions. "It replaces your blood completely with no significant side effects? Very interesting. I am planning to set up a proper lab inside the Castle once we've finished dealing with whatever is plaguing this world. Would you mind if I took a few "Blood" samples from you? I believe I will be interested in exploring what "Magra" is capable of, and of course I can share what I learn with you."

Frigus turned to look at Proditor when he walked in and took a bit of a sarcastic tone with his teammate. "I'm guessing you're going to wait here and help XCOM before making a thoroughly dramatic entrance at the last minute?" He paused hardly long enough to get a response before continuing. "Anyway, I'm going to go put some angry aliens on ice. Thanks for the help." He smiled before heading for the emergency ladder, once out on the landing pad he summoned his armor and Keyblade-glider and started flying to meet up with Harry and Aquila. <Frigus here. Don't bother engaging the Cannon directly, it's heavily armored, but if we take out its generator it won't be able to fire. I'm on my way to meet with Aquila and Harry now. Over>

"Yes Ma'am," Frigus nodded, "I've got a couple questions, is there anything we should know about the cannon? Point defense, energy shield, weaknesses? Anything other than angry aliens shooting at me out there? And where's the nearest window or escape hatch I can get out of the ship?" After waiting for a response and starting out towards the nearest exit, Frigus finally chimed into the coms conversation. <Frigus here, I'm on my way to the breach from the bridge. The Commander want's us to take out the cannon so I'm going to meet Aquila on the ground. Has anyone seen Nader? Over.>

When the lights changed Frigus started slowly putting away his notebook and pen, it wasn't like yellow was a terribly urgent color right? Well he decided it was time to go when the Alien champions started talking over the intercom. He left his wherever he'd been writing(Study? Barracks? Room?) and immediately headed for the bridge, picking up any of the team members on his way that he might meet.

Another dawn, another day, everything is starting to get almost home-y? around here. Either way the Barkeep seems at least somewhat less disgruntled this morning. He leaves out a small pile of potions for anyone to grab. (+4 "Lesser Healing Potions") The night and morning go by with little of interest happening, that chattering is still somewhere in the rafters. [18] ....That is until you go to step foot outside. A grey, cold, and incessant drizzle of rain permeates everything. Obviously it started some time last night, judging by the large puddles and standing pools of mud. Most of the villagers seem unphased by the rain, simply going about their daily business in heavy coats and boots. Characters get +1 to their first roll today due to better sleeping conditions. Actions taken in the rain may incur some penalty. The Golems return from the evening mining stone bringing back [functionally unlimited] units of stone.
