Spicy HG took a back stance as she finished her first flurry of attacks, taking count of the creature's wounds. Then she lept forward again, intent on continuing to blend the Imp until it was sufficiently...homogeneous. Spicy HG uses Rush Technique on the Black Imp attacking 4d4+4 times for 5 damage each, each attack can't deal less than 1 damage. Friedhold snapped the fingers of his glowing hand, scattering green sparks and motes of light that drift over to Scrapper's hand and heal the burns. But he frowned at Lesya's response, clearly disappointed but not angry. "If you are uncomfortable, perhaps you may simply tell me about it? I am interested in avoiding unnecessary damages, otherwise I would not bother with this."

Two of the A2-i project fragile looking disk-like shields and move to intercept for the two remaining Item Jammer Pods. The other two move the slam into and Crush Bridgett and Gabriel, dealing 10 and 12 damage respectively. They each suffer a 30% damage penalty on their next attack. Atton helps Bridgett and Perlita hatch a genius and foolproof plan. Probably. Bridgett sends a wave of energy crashing over the horde of High Bit Customs, dealing 22 damage to each of her targets. Iowa revs again and pulls into the perfect flank, the robots practically presenting armor weak-spots to her. Two of the SDHCs begin charging their heavy weapons, aiming at Gabriel and Iowa. Four more indiscriminately bomb the area(5,3,7,3), hitting Perlita, Bridgett, Gabriel, and Bridgett again. 6D intercepts for Perlita, taking 8 damage and Exposing the SDHC, Bridgett takes 4 and 12 damage, while Gabriel takes 18. The two charged SDHCs release great flashing arcs of lightning on Perlita and Mira. 6D intercepts again! Taking another 13 damage for Perlita, 6D is Stunned by the overload. Mira meanwhile sends the bolt of lightning grounding through her armor and blade before charging ahead and slamming through hex-shields into the SDHC that attacked her and dealing 30 damage, 19 having been absorbed by the shields. Just barely ducking behind 6D as a bolt of lightning paralyzes her friend temporarily, Perlita calls out to heal Lyra restoring 9 HP and removing two status ailments. Lyra tried her best to breathe and stay calm, what ended up happening was a little closer to “Cough up half a lung and bleed from the eyes”. She recovers 10 HP as the fresh air starts to clot some of the bleeding. 6D’s systems start catching up with the power overload, allowing her to recover from her stun. Gabriel creates a wall to protect Lyra. Sun Arcana burns. Most of the High Bit Customs retain their positions protecting or boosting. The High Bit Customs working with the SDHCs all shift, focusing on protecting and boosting the two charging SDHCs. The two previously repairing bits move to boost two of the A2-Is. The Item Jammer Pods activate emergency thrusters and prepare to fling themselves out of harm’s way, at least once. Lyra’s body is wracked with pain as the poison runs its course, she takes 16 and 17 damage, slowly slipping beneath the veil of consciousness. The Jammers pulse, causing Bridgett and Perlita’s gear to lock up. Init: Status:

Pink energy swirls around two of the A2-i robots and they fire on Bridgett and Iowa, inflicting the Virus! debuff for one round. Virus removes duration based buffs and prevents the sufferer from gaining any for the duration. The other A2-i robots spin their spike “belts” around and slam into Iowa and Mira, bludgeoning them for 12 and 8 damage respectively. Atton’s crew hails one of the Item Jammers with 16 damage. Bridgett fires her own volley, dealing 36 damage to a different Item Jammer. Lyra runs forward screaming and taunting Item Jammers No. 28, No. 29, and No. 30. Four of the SDHCs begin lobbing bombs at 6D, Gabriel, Punch, and Iowa. They deal 7, 13, 12, and 11 damage respectively. Two more hold their actions. And the final two each bring two spikes from behind down horizontal and begin charging. They’re aimed at Perlita and Mira. Perlita blasts one of the Item Jammers with brilliant light, [fail]dealing 15 damage. 6D prepares to Intercept for Perlita. Gabriel's fires catch all the Item Jammers and a stray High Bit for 16 damage, causing them to catch fire. Item Jammers No. 27 and No. 29 explode into piles of scrap. Six of the High Bits begin generating bluish hexagonal shield panels that they project around various allies, including the charging SDHCs and remaining Item Jammers. Two High Bits pull out welders, saws, and other tools to begin automatic repairs on their most wounded allies. They restore 14 and 11 HP to the remaining two Item Jammers. Four of the remaining High Bits start beaming energy to the two SDHCs holding their actions, while the other two beam energy to the two charging SDHCs. The two SDHCs holding actions activate! They launch power-boosted bombs at Atton and Lyra, Atton takes 16 damage, and Lyra dodges 17. Iowa brings her engines online and starts moving to a superior position. Mira slams into and A2-i robot, and through its shield, for 31 damage. Seeming to see Lyra as a major threat the Item Jammers move in and spray large quantities of purple mist at her, probably more than strictly necessary. Lyra is Poisoned four times! She takes 12, 14, 11, and 13 damage. As the mist burns her skin, eyes, and lungs she is suddenly very thankful her allies brought down the other Item Jammer. The Item Jammers pulse, jamming Atton and 6D this round. Init: Status:

Cell uses Parry on the Bagel, if it attacks before his next turn that attack is instead canceled. As an addition, free, action Cell also uses his Ice Bow, dealing 12 cold damage and stunning the Bagel by freezing it.

trespassers [IC] ALTEREDNU
StormLord replied to Hal Henderics's topic in Trespassers of the Multiverse: Gaiden^2's General
Ignia watched as Proditor followed behind Nader, making an effort not to roll her eyes at the man's...exclamations. "I'm going to head up stairs and take a look, I'll make sure the other two and I catch up after another few minutes of looking around." Ignia then turned away from Proditor and did just that, heading up the conveyor belt to the upstairs. Once on the second floor her attention was grabbed by the Workbench, she walked over to it and began checking what tools or projects might be on it. -

StormLord replied to Hal Henderics's topic in Trespassers of the Multiverse: Gaiden^2's General
After finishing her search Ignia leaves the computer for Jun's browsing and turns back to Proditor. "Well the camera isn't following any of us, or that dragon girl, and chances are good it also isn't following the other two. I also doubt it tracks the locals, so that really only leaves the child." She shrugged and looked back to stare at the monitor. "I wonder why the multiverse has such a thing for children? They've always got such strong Hearts, regardless of what horrors are thrown at them. Maybe its one big coincidence." -
With Lyra's screaming and Mira's approach several of the robots seem to take notice, causing a significant amount of the swarm to shift its focus on the new much larger group of challengers and leaving the two girls a much more manageable amount to deal with. Getting a bit closer to have a better look you see four distinct kinds of robots, floating sphere shaped robots with grey or purple bands and blue antennas, along with floating blue or teal robots with rings of spikes and a point-down cone for their main body. As the robot army approaches to meet the party the purple spheres hang to the back, sending out pulses of energy that do something which interferes with your loose equipment. [3, 2, 5, 8] Bridgett, Lyra, 6D, and Iowa become Item Jammed for one round, preventing the activation of items, consumables, and tricks. Passive items like armor still function, and weapons affected are simply reduced to 1d4+[stat] and lose other bonus effects. BMG: Init: Status:

Spicy HG stepped slowly into the building, surveying the opponents as she did. The green imp was still running, and the red ones didn't seem terribly impressive in the last battle, the bird was...suspicious, and the skulls looked too weak to survive a full onslaught. Which left the black imp as the prime target. Spicy HG uses Rush Technique on the Black Imp attacking 4d4+4 times for 5 damage each, each attack can't deal less than 1 damage. .EXE Gauge: 0/32(0/4lvls), Immunity to Fire damage, Weakness to Ice damage, Mitsurugi gains 20% resistance to Fire damage, Loadout:

As if by fickle fate Mira's phone rang at that exact moment, with Histoire asking for the party to return to the park entrance for another teleport. As you walk back one of the police officers motions to try and stop you with a wad of paperwork in hand, but Square waves him off, offering to deal with it while you continue on. The remote teleport takes quite a bit longer than the previous one, with each party member being taken one-by-one. As you each come to on the other side you notice a drastic change of scenery. You find yourselves in an urban area, probably a kind of industrial park judging by the warehouses and smokestacks on nearby buildings. The air here, while generally more polluted than before, also carries a thick stench of burning machines and plastics. Behind you is a fenced water way, and ahead the rubble remains of a factory or warehouse, beyond it is a cloud of dust and smoke engulfing another building, and presumably Brave somewhere in there. A little closer in the rubble though you see two girls, a short one with long red hair, orange corp top, shorts, and blue scarf, and a taller one with short hair of the same shade and a blue crop top and shorts. You can see them engaging several robots and seeming to win the fight before the rubble shifts and many many more robots appear to the fight, effectively surrounding them.

[11, 14] As the dragon rapidly approaches Jack hears a rush of wind as the creature fills its massive lungs. He jumps around the lip of the cave entrance just in time as a gout of flame almost as large as his ship rushes towards him, superheating the air and turning all the snow nearby into water. Around that moment he hears the dragon suddenly stop, follow by a feint grunt and a deafening THUD from the muffled explosion. Jack hears a distant rumbling. Peaking around the corner Jack watches the dragon slowly pull itself up and stumble towards the cliff, huge powder burns along its skin and large patches of scales stripped clean. The rumbling grows louder as he watches the Dragon throw itself off the cliff and take flight. -

Tim nods and gestures for Mirri and Law to follow him. Continuing along the hallway, the party walks down the set of stairs and quickly finds the solid stone around them opening into vast open cave. A huge lava tube oriented as a gentle downward slope, around a half mile across. The occasional streak of burning lava can be seen pouring from some reservoirs above down into the raging river of magma below. In the middle of the river is a tenuous island of Netherrack slowly eroding at the base. The hallway the party was once following becomes an open bridge, much like the ruined one they originally descended onto, leading towards the island and a complex of towers and walls there on. Ominous structures in the distance aside, there is a bit of ledge here where one could deviate from the path to explore more of the less structured environment. On the right of the path is a fairly flat bit of land with a narrow lava stream pouring from one wall, across the ledge, and on down towards the river below. A number of mushrooms of various descriptions appear to be growing along the banks of the "stream", including several reddish tree-sized mushrooms. On the left of the path is a downward incline, a bank of brown soil rests at the very edge of the cliff, while closer to the cave wall there are several patches of tall bright yellow and white flames. Tim casually wanders over to the dark soil and begins collecting a few samples. -

Friedhold raised his eyebrow and began rolling up the sleeve on his right arm. "You are understandably suspicious, you need some proof." With that he plunged his hand into the flames in the barrel, wincing as he moved it through the flames and watched the flesh burn off his hand, slowly starting to reveal the tips of several bones. He pulled the hand out of the flames, still gritting his teeth. He passes his left hand over it, now cloaked in dull green sparks that restore flesh and bone on contact. After a moment more of healing he stretched the now fulled restored hand. "Are you more confidant now?" He rolled back down he sleeve and returned to a more neutral posture. "What I need from you is one of two things. Help me do something, or offer me enough information to do it myself."

"Hell." Tim said with the same tone as one might say "the mall". "Some call it The Nether, it's a sort of subspace plane that exists under the primary material overworld in my dimension.... " He quickly trailed off, mumbling more to himself by the end of it. "Anyway, I'm probably boring you. We're here to do some mining, loot some abandoned fortresses, and maybe kill some monsters." -

Tim glances up as Mirri approached, his face still perpetually shadowed by his gold rimmed red cloak. "Hello there. You must be someone from the ship? Well you're welcome to join along." He reached up to pull on his beard in thought again. "We were just discussing what our next course of action would be." -

[16, 7] The Dragon snaps its gaze on Jack without a second thought. It throws the charred remains of the sheep on a nearby snow mound with a thud and begins stalking towards him with surprising speed. -
Perlita’s blast of magic deals 19 damage, easily dispersing the cloud above her. The Dolphin spews more poisonous spit at Mira and Lyra, dealing 16 and 12 damage respectively. Lyra marches through the ice and cold, only to find herself moving towards 6D's Interception in the confusion. Her first attack deals 1 damage, while her instinctive follow up deals 7 damage. 6D whips around to her actual enemy, forcing a confrontation and doing her best to generally piss it off. Her drone fires on it for 2 damage. The Dolphin rears back and summons up another wave, it crashes into 6D, Perlita, Mira, and Atton dealing 17 damage to each. Mira strikes again, dealing another 32 damage and tearing a segment of plaid cloth loose. After taking that final strike the Dolphin decides to cut its losses, flapping its wings and tail to propel it upward and forward. It banked tightly and started drifting back toward the woods, letting out a final fearsome squeeeeeeak! Loot: Final Status: As the Dolphin runs away several of you might notice Square sitting on a nearby ledge, shoes off and weapon sitting beside her. "Ha! I see why they sent you lot. Kill a horrible monster tha...that I can't really even comprehend still, and before the body is even cold you pick a fight with the local wildlife!" She shakes her head, smiling. "Absolute madmen."
