  1. Cell shrugs, equips the mask of waterbreathing, and follows Gozer into the water.
  2. Ignia give Sans a puzzled look for a second. "I..-" Her statement got cut off by Sans apparently breaking his own advice and just vanishing. "What is going on with this place?" A little further down the path as they encounter the salesman. "Uhhh....Well I uhh....I don't have any money, and I don't think any of them do either."
  3. Ignia mostly stands at the head of the maze, trying to make her mind up about something before she watches the turn of events involving Papyrus and Rachel. She turns to look at Arminius, Toriel, and the Kid with a bewildered look on her face. "Who is this dumbass?" She gestures to Papyrus.
  4. Cell looks around, obviously rubbing his chin, squinting, and crouching down in thought. The two newest members of the group had already noted they wanted nothing to do with the water, as had Edmond. It had been discussed previously that Gozer would be able to go underwater without much issue. That left the tank, the mage, the captain, and himself. The tank seemed like an obvious no-go for several reasons, notably it had a whole crew and they only had one waterbreathing mask. The mage used primarily fire to attack, a problem even the captain could puzzle out. So Cell walked over to the Captain and walked him to the water's edge. He gestured down, to the mask of waterbreathing, then between the two of them, as if to ask "You or Me".
  5. Now on the other side, Cell takes a moment to scrape the snowy goop off his hands and feet before walking over to the stone and mask. He examines the pedestals holding the mask and stone, and assuming it isn't obviously trapped he takes it. He give Cap a nod and heads back, again assuming nothing goes wrong.
  6. The man nods, taking the bag of samples carefully. He climbs up the ladder a few steps and push open the hatch, he says...something in a very repetitive language Leo cannot understand while still standing on the ladder. From below Leo makes out him opening the bag, gesturing a bit, and someone else he cannot see going through it. After several minutes of this he comes back down and hands Leo back the bag. "They're interested in these three." He hands Leo the samples of Prism, Meteorite, and Pink Slime. ~~~~~~~~~ Entering the maintenance space Takumi finds about what one would expect, old pipes poorly marked and aging beyond their lifetime. Eventually he comes across some kind of simple mechanical pump that appears to be rusted through in multiple places on the main cylinder body and locked internally by sediment buildup.
  7. The man behind the scratches his head after looking at the items for a little while, thoroughly out of his depth. "Alright, alright, I get it. I don't make the stuff, just uhh...can I take this to the guys upstairs so they can look it over?" He gestures to the pile of samples and then the ladder to the second story of the building. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Careful searching reveals that both the panels under the right and left arches can somehow be moved. The right archway seems to open from somewhere else, but the left one has a small slot that perfectly fits the key. Turning it opens a narrow dark passage to under the stairs. Takumi can see some pipes and other equipment from the dim torch and star light, but not much.
  8. Cell takes a few steps over to the bridge, giving it a cursory glance to see if it looks like it will immediately collapse before he gets down on his stomach. He activates his Gecko Rune and slowly shimmies onto the bridge, trying to keep his center of gravity low and his sticky contact with the ice high. Should he fall he uses Belier's Rune before he lands to prevent fall damage.
  9. Ignia takes a curious look at the snowman. An odd request sure, but not the strangest thing she'd seen today. "It can't hurt can it? If I knew some ice magic I'd keep it cold, but for now I can carry it until it melts at least." She took a small clump of snow from the snowman.
  10. Leo walks in to see a middle aged man sitting behind the counter reading a book, he looks up when he sees Leo and says hello nicely enough before listening to Leo's story. "Huh? No there wasn't a reward for that. But if you helped keep that crazy old lady's 'pets' from screwing up the alley I guess that warrants something. I'll give you uhh 50 munny in credit. Good here or next door." Shop Inventory: ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Takumi finds all the room doors locked, with no answers to any knocking. Upstairs he finds an attic full of crates and boxes for storage of linens and serving ware and such. In the corner he sees a small ornate chest that is bring red, gold, and green, it seems to clash with everything else around it.
  11. Cell sighs, at least visibly, and then starts gesturing at the snowy mountain, urging the others to move along.
  12. With Brave's total obliteration the drones surrounding the party shut down or collapsed into rubble, allowing everyone a sudden sigh of relief. The only remaining trace of Brave, beyond the rampant destruction of the local area, was the sword that still rested where it had fallen. Loot:
  13. Theme: Iowa’s shots rattle over Brave’s shattered armor, dealing 44 damage. Brave becomes Concussed. Brave raises his sword in both hands, shaking. He pauses, writhing his head back and forth in some great conflict before letting out a low roaring “ENOUGH!”. He twists his left hand sharply, wrenching the sword out of the right and sending it falling towards the ground where it lands tip-first and quickly extinguishes. He reaches up to his helmet with his left hand, swiping to try and grab at the tentacle growing from the large bullet hole over his right eye. The flames flare up, but seem to do nothing. Perlita’s healing spell restores 52 HP to Mira, and fails to have any meaningful effect on herself. Chain lightning rocks across the battlefield again, hitting Gabriel, Perlita, and Wrench and Bridgett, Falcom(older), and Falcom(younger). They deal 15, 17, [Blur Dodge] and 8, 13, 5 damage. The two non-transformed A2-i slam into Atton, dealing 12 and 12 damage. Atton tries to heal Mira and 6D, but only manages to mend a few scratches on Mira. Bridgett creates and incinerating wall of magical energy that washes over several of the drones, leaving them as molten slag on the ground. (All five targets destroyed) She takes 16 damage in backlash. Lyra wedges her wrench between some loose armor plates in Brave, dealing 13 and 15 damage. Brave continues to struggle with the infection in his right half, eventually dropping to his knees and screaming as he finally grabs a hold of the tentacle and starts pulling on it. His right arm takes several swift movements, striking his own chest and ribs several times. “I will be used NO MORE.” The SDHC bots prepare for another carpet bombing, hitting Mira(6D) and Gabriel for 25 damage each. The older of the two girls strikes down the most wounded SDHC, while the younger pulls out a small glowing orb that expands up, sending down a healing rain on herself, the older girl, and Iowa. It restores 16 HP each. 6D prepares to deflect incoming attacks. Gabriel’s stream of nuclear fire strikes Brave for 29 damage. Sun Arcana ticks. Theme Override: Mira’s attack causes stray energy to wash over Brave, shattering armor plates and mechanical servos to reveal even more corruption within. With another scream he manages to tear the tentacle protruding from his skull away, dropping it on the ground and watching it fester and boil away. Cloud cover that moved in during the fight begins to darken as Brave wavers in the rubble on his knees. He manages to finally pin down his right arm, only to watch several more tentacles like the one he’d torn from his skull pry out from between armor plates. He takes what seem to be a few ragged breaths before looking up with the light in his one good eye flickering and fading. “Do it, kill me, and make sure I never come back again.” Status:
  14. The old lady happily accepts Leo's offer to change her pet's tags, giving him the correct address to put on them. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Takumi's continued requests are met with silence. He does notice a box on the wall behind the desk that contains a number of key with odd and vibrant keychains. Looking them over one is green with stars, one is blue with a fish, red with diamonds, yellow with some kind of plant, and grey with a miniature fountain.
  15. Ignia nodded slowly at Rachel, not quite understanding everything she meant, but following it well enough. She raised up her hand and created a few small motes of green and gold light and drifted down over herself, wiping away the smaller cuts or bruises and slowly the bleeding of larger wounds. "Asgore would be the one try to ascend through ritualistic murder."
  16. Ignia hits the ground with a hard *thud* as the portal closed behind her. After a second of lying still she slowly started pushing herself up with a groan and several coughs as her armor and weapon drifted away into motes of red and purple light. "Oww." Ignia got to a mostly standing position with an obvious bruised and battered look about her, she roughly pushed a clump of sweaty brown hair out of her face before finally noticing the odd looks she was getting. "That was me, for the record." She gestured back to where the portal was and then shook her head. "We uhh might have a problem. I just got out of uhh Hotland? It was definitely hot. That crazy armored guy, Nader, and Proditor decided we needed to snoop around some kind of lab. They took an elevator down into a lower part and left the other three of us upstairs. After a few minutes someone calling themselves the 'Undyne' came kicking down the door. Jun tried to reason with her and then just grabbed Lucine and ran leaving me to fight her alone." She winces as she reaches over to a noticeable red spot growing on her sleeve, pulling it back to show a gash in her arm. "Anyway I lost that fight, but they're trying to make some kind of God to break through that barrier."
  17. Ignia scoffs at Undyne's comment and heaves against the raising pain of her body being beaten. She reaches up to pull off her helmet where one of Undyne's spears had sent cracks through the visor, she dropped it to the side and let is dissolve before even hitting the ground. "You....haha....You haven't been around much have you? Humans absolutely can absorb the Hearts of others." She turned her head to the side, spitting out a bit of blood as black flames started growing behind her. "Some bastard destroyed my homeworld by absorbing the Hearts of the people inside." Ignia pulls the flames up and forward as she steps back into the Corridor of Darkness. "I'm sure we'll meet again." Ignia uses Corridor of Darkness to Escape trying to link to Snowdin(which she can see on the monitor). She gains 1d6 Darkness points from this.
  18. Ignia glares between where Undyne was and where she could've sworn she would've attacked from. "What do you plan on doing once you break out? Once the humans of this world find out what you did?" She pauses, taking a second to loosen up her neck with a few cracks. "Surely if seven Hearts are enough to break the barrier, untold thousands are enough to shatter your 'God'?" Ignia lashes out out with another Quick/First Strike Fira for 2d10+10 damage, with a 50% chance of 1d10+10 burning. She follows up with a Cure, healing herself for 1d4+10 HP.
  19. Ignia's guard breaks at the momentary distraction of Jun running away. Her helmet pivoting as she just watched them run. "Bitch!" Her attention snaps back to Undyne as Jun and Lucine move out of view and with a couple steps she moves to make an appropriate distancing for a duel. She listened to Undyne's speech while silently sizing up her opponent, only interjecting at mention of breaking an entering. "Hey! I didn't take anything, and I was against coming in here in the first place! And I'm not the one tearing Hearts out of what? CHILDREN?" Ignia's free hand shot out to point at the monitor as it tracked the kid that Arminius and Rachel had chased. "Do you have ANY idea how SICK that is?" As she spoke the dark smoke wafting out of her armor briefly flared, giving a few glimpses of purple embers and an aura that pounded with her heartbeat and heaving chest. Even as Undyne leaps at her Ignia's training kicks in, causing her to reflexively launch a bolt of fire at the center of mass. Ignia casts Fira as a Quick Action with First Strike, she deals 2d10+10 fire damage with a 50% chance to ignite her target for 1d10+10 fire damage each round for two rounds. Ignia prepares to counter an attack from...BEHIND! For the other half of her Quick Action Ignia uses Poison Edge, poisoning Undyne for 8 damage each round for three rounds.
  20. Continuing back to the 1st District the party comes across an old lady loving on Tod and Copper, she thanks the party for their efforts and offers them some cookies as a reward.
  21. Ignia's head tilted down some at the person's words, no one could see it but she made a face of disgust. "I don't care who you are or what you've faced. Tearing out people's Hearts isn't the answer. You can't control that kind of power, no one can." She leapt forward off the stairs, moving at a sprint to stand by Jun, wisps of black smoke escaped from the cracks of her armor and the giant bronze key in her hands started to become wreathed if burning embers. "I don't want to fight you, but know if you do you will burn." Loadout:
  22. "Oh good you're okay, come on." Ignia motioned for Lucine to follow her back down the stairs. "Jun we need to get out of here befo-That happens." Ignia reflexively slams a fist against the round plate of armor on her shoulder, causing her to become engulfed in light for a moment before appearing fully armored.
  23. As Satomi finished speaking a voice could be heard calling out in the distance, too faintly for most of the party to hear. The dog however stands up and immediately started trotting back down the tunnel towards the voice. Ena, and anyone else with improved hearing would hear what sounded like an older woman calling for "Copper" and "Tod" to come. Tod wriggles in Leo's arms, trying to escape to follow the sound as well.
  24. 1 vs 14, 6, As Leo presses his hand against the fox's head, trying to filter through the primal and animalistic thoughts to find more abstract ideas and concepts. It takes some time, but he eventually dives deep enough to get something back. He's met with the ideas of "That was fun", "These people look funny", and "Lets go tell mom". He also feels a bit funny afterwards, putting so much into the creature causes some mental backflow. The bell jingle echos through the empty hallway, no one answers.
