  1. "Well I'm Harold, nice to meet y'all." Harold reaches up and offers Alex and Joaquin each a firm callused handshake. "Oh them? To be quite honest I don't think the yellow one is human in anything more than shape. But Scarlet is an experienced mercenary."
  2. Seeing Sucrose and Scarlet embroiled in their conversation Harold decides it would be best to at least welcome the new recruits to this....thing that passed for a space ship. The man in an odd combination of beige jumpsuit(?) and brown leather jacket walks over to the entryway that had lowered to reveal Alex and Joaquin. "Well would ya look at what the ranch mouser done dragged in. Don't mind those two they're peaceful, ehh mostly." If anything was apparent in Harold's voice it was the heavy drawl and lack of respect for the letter "t". "I didn't catch your names, but I'm guessing you're here for the ride?"
  3. After a tense few minutes having woken up in a shipping container and having something about "Multiverse" and "Life-debt" and "You're bounty hunters now" explained by an asshole calling himself Handsome Jack through a robot. Alex and Joaquin feel the shipping container shift with the grinding of metal, settling down through something before a loud *BANG* against the side and the feeling of sudden acceleration. Staring out into the void Stella notices an odd point of light forming in the horizon, growing and growing before.... She ducks out of the way just in time for a Hyperion branded shipping container to fly past with breaking thrusters going full throttle. It couples with the side of My First Ship IV and she hears the hiss of airlocks opening automatically. A&J see a small spartan ship opening up before them, a number of robots similar to before pace around turning dials and adjusting levers while a handful of other odd characters interact further in. Including an odd shot woman with decidedly caramel colored skin and a yellow dress talking with a white haired teenage(?) girl with an oversized gun slung on her back.
  4. (9, 15) (44) As Stella stared out into the twisting, swirling depths of oblivion. Something surely powerful enough to drive any of the more mortal party members thoroughly mad. She felt an odd tug inside, everything here was as full and empty as it ever was, but a different kind of empty than the void near her homeworld. She felt the urge to venture out and explore each of these new distant places, and at the same time she knew if she ventured too far out without knowing how to navigate in this new region she would surely lose the ships and her new companions. Along with any real chance of navigating back to her own world. The carpenter nods and gets to work mounting the impressive prize.
  5. Dangerous Game: The dragon is eventually defeated and its horde is collected for one [Huge pile of Gold]. Pandlantis: The bullimongs are defeated, the shaft descended into, and mcguffin collected before returning. White Dove: The target is successfully escorted through the sewers after a pair of increasingly bullshit encounters. Ships: Once aboard the ships again the party is left mostly to their own devices, no immediate call from Jack yet, though there seem to be things on the bounty board again.
  6. Magic dashes forward with a blur of speed blowing past Mira and swinging her scythe at Lyra who deftly dodges! The cracks in reality around her strain and grow as she moves. Bridgett peppers the Power Plant with a cluster of magical arrows, it takes 25 damage and detonates with a small mushroom cloud. Magic prepares to use Gravity Slam. 6D reinforces herself! 6D does her best to irritate CFW Magic! Gabriel launches nuclear hellfire at Magic, dealing 36 damage! The cracks in reality around her splinter out as he attacks dealing 2 damage to Gabriel. Magic shifts her focus to 6D, swiping at her this time and dealing 17 damage. (7) Perlita uses Hama on the Factory dealing 12 damage. Saejik calls in heavy armor and a twinkle appears in the sky. As the Power Plant explodes Lyra turns her attention to the factory being erected, her wrench slams against the metal structure for 2, and 4 damage. Magic keeps the pressure up on 6D swiping again for another 17 damage. Punch spins into the Factory with her Vortex Kick dealing 5 damage to it. The building cannot become dizzy. Mira’s attack catches Magic by surprise, her weapon slashing against Magic’s side for 44 damage. The fracturing reality around Magic lashes out at Mira dealing 2 damage to her. Gravity Slam triggers! She turns sharply and drives the back end of her scythe into Mira’s chest dealing 30 damage. A rush of force sends Mira flying back. She cannot target Magic with melee attacks on her next turn. The fractures around Magic spread again. The mound shifts and shakes, metal groans, signs flicker and shatter, a large disc protrudes from one side. Fragments of neon signs slowly bind together to form a pair of huge jaws as more of the mound shifts upward. Several large chunks of metal and tech are flung free and land with a thud near the party before pulling themselves together into a large rectangular box. A glowing screen lights up on the front of the scrap vending machine to read off text as a cheery distorted jingle plays. “Get Elder-Coins when you need’em and fast! Today only flash sales: We buy Souls! We buy Gold! We buy Life Essence! We buy Random Junk!” As the Factory finishes construction conveyor belts materialize between it and the vending machine. The belts quickly start to fill with gears, mechanisms, and circuit boards being fed to the vending machine. Ghostly images of coins etched with tentacles appear to float from the vending machine towards the mound before disappearing. Init: Status:
  7. Cell, hearing Dackly's request, simply shrugs and obliges. Throwing the starlight spear as hard as he can at her. Cell delays until after Dackly then uses Starlight Spear on Dackly, dealing 1d6+16 damage.
  8. As Lyra finishes her statement she can practically feel the arrogant judgement as Magic rolls her eyes. "Perhaps you don't understand the concept of a distraction?" There's a rumble from above as the barrier shakes, and then shatters. A beam of light descends from directly above the mound, causing the earth to quake. Patches of new junk is brought to the surface of the clearing as the shaking comes to an end. "Hahaha. My colleagues were weak because they were disposable. But with this Avatar, this Deity of Greed and Consumption. I'll be able to take my revenge on the brats that ruined my plans and the one who failed me most!" The mound begins to shift and rise up as Magic loses herself in ominous laughter. Translucent images appear over several of the patches in the clearing, before large pieces of debris and junk fly from the mound and start to assemble themselves into structures. Saejik gets an all-clear from his communicator, the barrier is down and they have clear line-of-sight to his position. Init: Status:
  9. A rumbling can be heard in the distance, from the direction the party walked into the clearing. "What a waste. To miss such a momentous unmaking all because you'd rather die by my hand." The rumbling grows louder as Magic twists her scythe in her hand, letting light glint off the blade. "I hope you don't mind, I invited some friends to the show. Hahahaha...." As Magic's deep laughter slowly dies off a small tidal wave of monsters pours around the corner, threatening its way into the clearing. She lifts up her off hand and slowly beckons the party to draw closer. Uni whips around as the monsters arrive, leveling her weapon and preparing to start firing. "Damnit! They've got us surrounded." She glances to the side gesturing to a few others, the Twins, the Falcoms, and Square. "I think we can hold them off, but the main group needs to take care of Magic before she does anything too drastic!"
  10. The path ahead stays quiet as the group moves forward, offering up no further threats beyond its nature, giving everything an eerie quality. After minutes of walking the group finds itself at a large and surprisingly flat clearing, somewhere the junk and scrap has been scoured down to the oldest most decayed material. The river of ooze flows down and forms a small pond near one side of the clearing. However its what can be seen in the middle of the clearing that's most intriguing. A figure in dress similar to that of Uni and Nepgear when the party had first met them only...more, larger, and darker. Two broad wings of metal stretch out behind her, long strands of neon pink hair trailing between them, and in her hand a warscythe of similar coloring. CFW Magic. Behind Magic is large mound of scrap, towering above the surrounding piles and covered in various lights and signs that flicker here and there. Occasionally something seems to spark or the metal shifts oddly. Upon catching sight of them Magic begins drifting forward towards the party, arms open, weapon to her side, but still some distance away. "Have you come to watch the end of the world with me?" As she moves the air between her and the mound, the reality, begins to warp and crack under the strain of...something. As if the mood of the Graveyard hadn't put everyone on edge enough, something very wrong washed over the party sending shivers down spines and guts churning.
  11. Cell accepts his transformation and chooses the stone of Air, with Persistent Element and Elemental Wellspring as his bonuses. Cell uses Wave of Denial on himself, Tsubasa, and Gozer&Cap making them immune to non-AoE attacks for Two rounds.
  12. Leo and Ena obtain one "Antibonginator: this device can be attached to any sufficiently large clock and through the use of anomalous time manipulation it will cause the clock to skip back in time every few seconds, effectively putting it in stasis." ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ "Bruce" sets his cards face-down on the table and swims up from his chair and over to Takumi, smiling broadly with a mouth full of teeth. "What's this a little fish? If it's a bath you're looking for you might check the Yellow room." ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ "I am Fungosio!" "And I am the Mycomagus!" "We seek to return to the sauce! That glorious primordial ooze that brithed us all." "But the trip is long, so we serve refreshments." "Want a sample?" The second of the wizards(?) pulled up a cup ladle full of the glowing liquid in the pot and gestured at Francis. "Professional's guarantee, haven't given a bad trip in centuries!" ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ "Think of me as a...concerned third party. It best serves both our interests for you and your friends to continue to do well in preparing the worlds. Even if sometimes we feel our mutual acquaintance in management is a bit too...impersonal." Satomi watches him take yet another puff before turning on his rooftop and dropping down to her level, landing upright a few feet away. "I do not expect to be taken on my word alone just yet Miss Kaiu, and I know you are a woman of action. Such a quiet world does not suit you." He reaches into his coat with his off hand and pulls out a small notebook wrapped with twine and old torn brown paper. "Take this to the man in the Accessories shop, it will give you something more productive to do."
  13. Seeing as no one else had done so one of the Falcoms decides to pick up the requisition tablet that had been left and pick out of things to help with the fight. A few minutes later a small box of various things arrived. After collecting what she wanted it seems she ordered a bit too much and left the extras for anyone else to take. Once final preparations are made everyone is led to the teleporter room once more. It is certainly a bit more cramped than last time, but even with everyone it isn't too bad. A short countdown begins, followed by the sound of something large being fired, and then whoosh. Once the party lands on the other side, what they see is a drastic change. It resembles an old junkyard more than anything, piles of trash and junk cover every inch of the place, to the point where anything resembling soil is just the decayed remains of something left long ago. The sky here is a dull purple-red with shimmering plates of magic overhead as a large hole is quickly repaired. There is a river of molten....something to the left, bright green and bubbling menacingly. There is a glow coming from closer to the center of the Graveyard, bursts of blues and pinks radiating up over the mountains of trash, though there is something of a flat-ish path that seems to lead that direction. One of the twins shivers at the dark foreboding atmosphere, hiding behind Uni while the other is already dashing off to the side to poke at some kind of oversized lizard made of several cracked game controllers bound together with wire and techtrash. The older Falcom looks around and stares at her reflection in a giant half-buried DVD disc for a moment. "They say the Graveyard is the place where all lost hopes and broken dreams in Gameindustri come to rest. It isn't exactly a safe place on a good day, so keep your guards up." As Falcom finishes speaking you all hear the lizard screech, followed by a giggle and the sound of ice cracking. The twin that went to mess with the lizard wanders back leaving a giant lizard-icecube behind.
  14. Spicy HG watches the scene unfold without much desire to chime in herself. But as soon as the gloves come off she launches into a flurry of blows against one of the birds. Spicy HG uses Rush Technique on Ubmue 1, dealing 6 damage 4d4+4 times. Loadout:
  15. As spears, lances of energy, and blades of fire batter and clash against the combined Genji armor Ignia pauses for moment. She draws her weapon in close, gathering orange and gold flames around it as she gathers strength and focuses on a powerful spell. Her mind races as she does, flickering over the things she fought the darkness for, her friends, her companions new and old, the faces of children in worlds unaware, the people she saved, those still in need, and to avenge those she had failed save. With a shout she pulled forward a tremendous roiling sphere of energy, starting it hurling towards the armor. Her mind drifted over a thought she'd been pondering since earlier that day, something she'd rather forget. The image of her old family hung in her mind and she felt a sting for regret matched with a sudden twinge of hatred for the cloaked man. The sphere of energy hurtling towards the Genji armor turned a shade of dark just before impacting with the armor's chest and detonating into a small vortex of black fire and sending out rays of darkness that cut and pierce through the armor. The armor shutters and staggers with several of its arms mangled by the combined attacks and having one of the rays completely destroy one of its heads. Eventually it clatters to the ground in a dozen pieces, and each vanishing in a burst of darkness one by one.
  16. Cell uses Lightspeed targeting Cicivexa. Cell will take the first two attacks targeting Cicivexa. Loadout:
  17. The figure reached up one hand under their hood, Satomi figured it was to scratch their chin by how the blur moved. "Hypothetically..." He took another long breath off the pipe, causing a feint red point to appear for a second. "The path to the light, while comforting, will lead you astray and end in a hollow facade." Satomi caught a feint wisp of the smoke from the pipe. It was heavy and sweet, almost oppressively so, with distinct fruity notes she couldn't place. "The middle path has served you well up until now, but ultimately will not take you where you need to be." The figure reached out and pointed towards the quiet dimly lit path on the left. "Your path will lead you into the darkness." They took another drag off their pipe, sending a ring of light grey smoke out that Satomi could barely see against the night sky. "This worlds have a mind of their own, they'll guide you to where you're needed most. But stick close to any lights you find in the night, lest you get swallowed by the darkness."
  18. [Francis obtains Red, Brown, and Green mushroom samples] After the second knock Francis hears something shift inside and the door slowly creaks open. Inside Francis sees a large round room with a grungy brick floor, the whole place is lit by lamp sized versions of the tiny glowing mushrooms outside. Tables with chairs are sparsely littered around the outside of the room while in the center there is a raised round platform with a ring shaped bar around it surrounded by stools. The collection of occupants is obscure and odd to say the least, starting with the...thing that opened the door; A large mushroom creature with stalky arms and legs at least five or six inches across at their narrowest point and small beady eyes. Next what Francis can only assume are the bartenders; two old men wearing age-tattered robes held together with small patches of creeping mycelia, they both have long white hair and beards and yellowed eyes that look like they've been totally consumed by cataracts or something similar, one is wearing a large pointed hat that appears to quite literally be the top of a mushroom. They're standing around a pot in the middle of the raised area slam full of some kind of glowing yellow-green liquid, every now and then one of the stops to pour a drink and set it on the bartop where it is either taken by a patron or the large mushroom bouncer. One of the bartenders adds something to the pot as the music fades, and to the glee of the other another song begins. The patrons seem just as odd; a cowboy in black leathers passed out drunk next to another much more lively cowboy in brown at the bar. A knight in brass armor sitting alone nursing a shot of something that glows. A group of purple-skinned lizard people with shiny shoulder pauldrons cackling around a table. A norseman with arms like trees sitting at a table talking to a woman in a fancy purple 1800s era dress. Some kind of vaguely humanoid creature that looks like its made of the night sky twisted into the shape of a man, it sits at a table with hundreds of tiny humanoids that flicker and twitch in and out of being as if they're only feint outlines. Two astronauts sitting together with their helmets off, one a man in a much older bulkier suit and the other a woman in a slimmer newer suit with various glowing panels and gadgets.
  19. As soon as Francis opens the door he can hear the music more loudly and clearly. On the other side the ground is that of a smooth blueish stone well trodden by many years of wear. Out ahead of him he sees a huge open cavern with a deep underground lake, out in the middle of the lake atop a small island is a strange structure. It consists of primarily a large cylindrical base leading to a wide round roof that goes from a shallow pitch to a drastically steeper one about halfway up(Looking not unlike a wizard's hat). Stalks and heads of various giant mushrooms stick out and plug holes in the roof while various fungal patches cover up collapsing and crumbling walls. A glowing light shines from inside the structure and flickers various shades of red, purple, green, and blue as it changes with the beat of the music. The light catches more fungus on the roof of the cave, hundreds of tiny glowing mushrooms that flicker and change to mimic the light from the structure. There are a series of smaller rocks between the shore and the central island with large flat mushrooms grown and woven together into pathways and bridges between them leading up to the front doors of the "teapot".
  20. Francis collects his rewards and starts going over the wad of notes the odd man had given him. Apparently there was some kind of cave near a "Third District" that was making strange noises at night. Consulting his map and heading back to the place he woke up and then beyond it a little. Stepping through into the third district that this cave supposedly connects to Francis finds a small courtyard with a fountain in the far right corner depicting...a pair of dogs kissing over a plate of pasta? Oddly specific. He also notices a pounding beat coming from some distant source. There is a door on the side of the courtyard directly opposite the one he entered from, it seems to be the source of the sound and also judging from his map the direction to this cave.
  21. Making their way up the ladder to the clocktower top and around the maintenance walkway at the top to look down on the clockface and get a better idea of what's going on Leo and Ena quickly dicover the problem. There is some kind of mechanical device made of green and purple painted metal latched onto the clock no unlike some bizarre metal tick. Every few second a pulse of energy washes over the clock face, resetting the second hand back to its previous position. The device is about the size of a watermelon and has some large gold writing on the side. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Collecting the blue key and entering the blue room Takumi isn't sure what he expected to find. It was not however, to see three sharks sitting in chairs playing poker. The largest, a great white, appears to be placing a bet as Takumi walks into the room. "I'll raise you three sanddollars..." As he drops three small tan chips in the middle of the table he grins menacingly towards the sharks on his left and right, two much smaller hammerhead and mako sharks. "You know what Bruce? I'll call your bluff and match your bet!" As the hammerhead is reaching out to drop three more sanddollars into the pile as all three suddenly notice Takumi and turn to look at him at the same time.
  22. The Meow Wow gives Francis a few good licks before letting him up, and then trots behind him down the corridor back outside. It stops for a minute by the doorway back to the pens. After a few deliberative grunting puffing sounds it finally decides to follow Francis outside. Meow Wow has joined the party! The creature waiting outside near the balloon seems excited to see Francis being followed by the Dream Eater. "Kupo! Kupo."(You're back with a friend I see! You must have won, in that case you'll want to spend your medals.) Shop Contents:
  23. [Balloonza 8] Meow Wow springs into the air and summons their cluster of highly volatile water balloons before sending them crashing towards Hebby Repp with a big belly flop. The resulting cacophony of popping sounds leaves Francis' ears ringing and the Hebby Repp flopped on the ground watching the stars spin. Meow Wow excited starts bouncing back towards Francis. A handful of metallic medallions appear in the air in front of Francis and drop into his hands. He remembers what the creature out front said about trading medals for fabulous prizes.
  24. [Hebby Needle 2] Hebby Repp hits Meow Wow with their tail for another 8 damage. [Horn Dive 1] Meow Wow dives down an slashes up catching Hebby Repp with their horn for 15 damage. Vanish 8 powers up and becomes Balloonza 8! Status: Cards: ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ After taking only a few steps down her chosen path Satomi hears a loud *cough* from above. Her vision trails upward and behind to a blurry figure wearing a black coat and hood that stuck out against the dark but ever so slightly blue night sky. The figure is sitting quietly on the corner of the of the buildings, one leg dangling down into the intersection below and the other propped up on the rooftop they're sitting on. "You look..-" The figure spoke in a gravely low voice, and as they spoke they pulled out a pipe and lit it with a snap of their fingers. "-Like you could use some directions." They gave the pipe a few puffs to get it going before exhaling a small cloud of smoke and leaning down to get a better look at her.
  25. [Block 10] Meow Wow summons a magical barrier. [Hebby Needle 3] Hebby Repp's darts in to stab at Meow Wow with its tail only to have it deflected and get stunned for a moment. Choose one card to power up into something new. Status: Cards:
