  1. Lyra's movements are swift and seemingly unpredicted, her first hit lands true, though her second is caught on the rim of a shield. Lyra deals 25 and 11 damage, applying Crush twice. The figure shifts her weight into her shield, forcing Lyra to back off just as she heard the sound of the mechanical crossbow cycling, she dodged the first hit, but still felt a sharp pinprick in her abdomen. The Figure hits Lyra with Torpor Shot twice dealing [Dodge] and 16 damage. Mira finds her helmet unable to get a true reading on the figure. Dashing in with her own blade Mira too catches the rim of the figure’s shield with her attack, only dealing 16 damage. Status:
  2. With a flash of light in each hand the figure armed herself. In one hand a metal shield painted blue with three yellow triangles pointing inward from the edge and a yellow triskele in the center. In the other a mechanical double-crossbow loaded with distinctly purple-tipped bolts. The edges of her silhouette blur, shake, and sparkle a faint yellow as she steps forward. "Let's get this over with." Init: Status: Theme:
  3. The figure shifts to meet Mira's shrouded gaze with her own. "If your employer has chosen not to inform you of my organization I'm not surprised. They aren't well known for being open with information. Regardless our ultimate goals align, even if our methods do not." She raises one hand to her side and allows a fine sparkling gold dust to sprinkle out onto the ground. An unfelt wind picks it up in large sweeping whirls that drift back to the Hedrons. "Truly I don't need your permission, and the 'jamming'? was to prevent my target from escaping, not you from interfering." The coating of fine dust causes the runes on their surface to glow as they absorb it and come to life, spinning with a soft hum and emitting a pale field around the corpse. "I don't really want to waste time fighting you, and eleven to five isn't exactly a fair fight. But I'll give you this option, if you really want to try and stop me I'll fight two of you without my backup and if you win I'll answer one question and make sure you don't leave empty handed." Aside from their slow sway the spear wielding creatures don't react to anything going on around them aside from to watch quietly.
  4. The figure shakes her head slowly. "I'm afraid letting you do that isn't an option. It isn't very useful 'dead'." She reaches one hand out and waves it slowly in front of her causing purple and black flames to flare in the air immediately in front of her. Sixteen large octahedrons with elongated points appear in the air there, seemingly made of stone about a foot across and two tall. Each flat face is covered in intricate interlocking runes that form hundreds of bizarre shapes. After a moment the stones begin to float on their own, socketing into place to form a wide ring around the Deity of Greed. "You can try to stop me, if you want." She shrugs slowly and folds her hands together in front of herself. "We aren't worshiping them if it makes you feel any better though."
  5. Four silver spears drop out of nothing and embed in the ground at each corner of the Deity of Greed's 'corpse', each with a head that offered a blade on one side and three spikes on the other, fading from silver to red at the base. The butt end of the spear formed a cross of three similar spikes again fading red towards their base. Perched floating atop each spear appears a humanoid figure of silver and dark grey with dragon like features for its hands, feet, and head, a tail and wings, and belts of red cloth wrapped around its neck and torso. A stark white emblem is emblazoned on its thigh of an inverted heart with a cross of three spike emerging upward from the point. The figures warble and twist unnaturally as they float in place, defying gravity. A thin vertical black line appears between the party and the corpse, it opens into an archway from which a figure wearing a heavily obscuring black coat and gloves steps before it closes behind them. With only the jingle of a few chains the figure turns to assess the corpse behind it. Glancing over it as they speak to the party in a low feminine voice. "My you really did a number on this one. Almost killed it, so to speak." She, whoever she is, turns back around, offering no further hint of her identity behind the impenetrable hood. "Any questions, complaints, objections before we take it from here?"
  6. Satomi and Kusuke Navigating out of the twisting labyrinthine alleyways is surprisingly far easier than navigating in had been and within a few short minutes Satomi and Kusuke were back to the courtyard they had awoken in. Heading into the Accessories shop Satomi finds the man at the counter leaned back with a magazine. He glances up and sets it down as she hands over the package, which he promptly tears into after reading the label. He pulls out a small pouch and dumps it out on the countertop, about ten palm-sized star-shaped golden coins pour out. He gives a soft whistle at the currency and continues to leaf through the papers. "Somebody really owed you huh?" He carefully pulls out a couple pieces of paper that look like an order manifest and sets down the rest. "It'll take me a few minutes to dig out the crates, but while you wait..." He looks up from the manifest long enough to pull a dense hardbacked book out from under the counter, blue and red with bits of gold trim and a silhouette drawing of two small furry creatures Satomi doesn't recognize on the front. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Leo The cat largely waves Leo off, but after another minute or two Leo can see he's getting tired and caught a few too many whiffs of his own medicine. The cat eventually passes out at the hole. Sealing the torn wire is trivial with Shape Solid, but Leo feels like these two will find another way to break it if he doesn't reinforce it. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Takumi Takumi finds the mural unchanged from when he left it before, aside from the secret compartment having closed itself in. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Francis One of the two 'wizards' takes the Cybergator skin and gives it a close inspection. Reluctantly he passes it to his partner. "This will...suffice." Francis watches him pull out two small vials and fill them with The Sauce then cork and wax seal them.
  7. Mira's relief was quickly poisoned by the disturbing sight she found looking out at the battle the others had been fighting. None of them seemed particularly hurt, thankfully, however what she found was stillness. Their allies, along with the few remaining monsters to survive Bridgett and Saejik's bombings were frozen still where they stood. Similarly Saejik found no response in any attempt to communicate with The Renown.
  8. Theme: Magic charges Apocalypse Nova! Bridgett meanwhile drifts upward charging her own ultimate weapon. Magic circles and burning winds filled with motes of light surround her as the light gathering at the tip of Mornings Arrow becomes increasingly difficult to look at. The force of Ginnungapap was unquestionable, shaking the ground and staggering even allies as the blast expanded over the battlefield. The Displacer Beast, Magikarp, and remaining SS unit are utterly vaporized by the attack, along with scores of lesser monsters from the combat going on behind the party. [30 vs 17, 25 vs 16] Both CFW Magic and the Deity of Greed also take the brunt of the attack, each suffering 216 damage as the magical force tears through their bodies like tissue paper. Bridgett takes 21 damage from Enherjar Mode and 13 from Fracture backlash. A magical barrier wraps around herself, 6D, and Lyra. Thick black blood begins to pool at Magic’s feet even before her own charged spell backfires in her face, scorching her front almost beyond recognition. “IMPOSSIBLE! AHHHhhhh…..” Magic stumbles to the ground, unmoving. 6D powers herself up and pivots the forward cannons towards the Deity of Greed, blasting it for 23 damage. The coins are kindly taken from Gabriel, despite the fact that the Magikarp doesn’t actually exist anymore. He fires at the Deity of Greed for 32 damage. Sun Arcana ticks. Perlita showers the party in healing, restoring much lost HP. Saejik calls in more heat, though slightly redirected at the Deity of Greed. His pep talk gives Lyra 14 THP. Lyra swings her way over to Greed, prying and crushing at anything that looks important for 23, 6, and 8 damage. Theme: Recovering from the blinding flash of Bridgett’s attack Mira realized her target was done for, but not to let her rage go wasted she changed targets easily enough. Three brutal Crescent Slashes gouge and tear Greed for 62, 65, and 69 damage, leaving large glowing chunks of metal to fall free from where Mira severed them. Theme: The Deity of Greed shutters and groans. Plates of metal shift and twist, tendrils each made of gears, wire, bones, shattered glass, and all manner or other materials spring forth from its form to writhe in the sky above it. Three reddish disks appear in the sky above it facing the party, slowly growing with burning crackling edges until something pokes through. The bow of a small ship, seeming to be made of carved bone and dark metal decorated in writhing bodies strung along the sides. Theme: No more than a few yards of each manages to poke through though, before the streaking sound of a bomber run and impact of the Turbo Laser barrage stirs the party from the gruesome sight and breaks the Deity of Greed’s concentration. The portals close with a thunderous snap and the ships vanish before they can even be engaged. Theme: The Deity of Greed slumps to one side where the lasers blew a sizable chunk out of it and the bombers still rock it with explosives. After several seconds a stillness and near-silence passes over the battlefield and the eerie oppressive presence of the Trespasser begins to fade. Final Status: Loot:
  9. Seeming to finish channeling fire for the time being Spicy HG turned her attention to the Bud Ogre who had recently started to actually participate in combat. She brought her glaive up with crackling energy and gave the creature a swift, raking slash. "Sit back down." Spicy HG used Sealing Slash on the Bud Ogre, dealing (2d10+10)*0.75 damage and making it unable to use non-item actions for two turns.
  10. Magic takes one deep contented breath as the shadow of the Trespasser washes over the battlefield. “What more proof do you need that these beings are beyond us? Are the ultimate masters of the multiverse?” Magic gestures widely and fires a piercing bolt of energy, then another, each causing the instability around her to fracture and writhe. One bolt slams into Bridgette for 8 damage, while Lyra swiftly dodges the other. Magic gains 6 total stacks of Fracture. Bridgette holds her action. Magic flicks her wrist again and fires another bolt at Gabriel for 13 damage, gaining another 3 stacks of Fracture. The air around Magic hums faintly for a second before it seems to crack and spider web like glass. Magic doubles her Fracture stacks! With a satisfying buzz the forward laser blasters of the AT-TE dig into Magic’s side for 22 damage. Reality fractures around the tank causing unnatural gouges and splits in the armor dealing 18 retaliation damage. Another volley into a nearby metal patch sends enough flying scraps to provide 18 Elder Coins and some much needed protection(10% DR for the party) 6D Regenerates. Sun Arcana ticks. Gabriel’s flames scorch Magic’s body for 69 damage. Nice. Meanwhile Mira gains the Redwall buff. The six-legged purple panther materializes in the air mid-leap over Gabriel! Two barbed tentacles slam into Gabriel, while a maw of razor sharp teeth lunges for his neck. He takes 6 and 9 damage from the tentacles and 15 from the bite. The barbs pin him in place and prevent him from using any actions that require movement. The Displacer Beast is now visible and vulnerable until it disappears again! An orangish corona wells up around CFW Magic as she begins charging something. It continues to build. Perlita responds to Magic with two of her own bolts of light(7, 4) one impacts for 21 damage and the other for 18. Saejik calls in an orbital bombardment and sends medical help to Bridgett. Suddenly feeling far better, Bridgett starts charging something, something BIG. Lyra dives into the group of SS operatives headstrong and bold, cracking ribs, visors, and skulls with her wrench as she deals 15, 16, 21, and 21 damage to them. By the time she finishes her flurry her weapon is bloodied and five of the six men are dead or unconscious on the ground. Soccer balls from the tiny soccer team batter the surface of the Deity of Greed, several even finding their way into the goal. It takes 9, 6, 9, 6, 8, and 13 damage. Now out of anything to kick around all of the players pat each other on the back and wander off into the rubble around the battlefield. Magic continues to charge, orange energy begins to gather around her open hand. “Suffer!” A sphere of energy flies outward towards Mira, Lyra, and Perlita before exploding into a wave of fire. Gabriel’s Redwall holds up around Mira reducing the damage she takes to 4, but Lyra and Perlita take 34 and 38 damage respectively. The last member of the SS squadron shouts something Lyra can’t make out as they go for their sidearm and fire off two rounds before it jams. Lyra takes 11 damage. Mira floods the battlefield with her own power, preparing a count and charging Magic. Even as Mira sweeps up to strike her Magic finally flinches, dashing out of the path of the blade in a swift fluid motion [Dodged]. Cell repair restores 51 HP. A long tube-like gravitational anomaly snakes its way up to suck up the Elder Coins Mira offered. 5 more previously offered coins float up into the air for more Hired Help, causing another portal to open above the battlefield. Out from it pops a small red fish with white tail and side fins and a golden dorsal fin that looks a bit like a crown. A faint blue hologram of a humanoid figure in business attire with no discernible facial features appears beside Gabriel and speaks with a deep scratchy recorded voice. “Excuse me sir, but as of recent acquisitions you are no longer the primary shareholder of that Freila. You’ll need to buy back your shares or relinquish the property.” Gabriel must pay 22 Elder Coins on his turn or swap his [Freila] action with Magikarp’s [Struggle]. Init: Status:
  11. Spicy HG's visage and intent remained unchanged even as one of the Ubume was reduced to little more than cinders and soot. The temperature of the room yet continued to climb as more flames lashed out from her, to the point it was nearing uncomfortably hot for her allies and oppressively so for her enemies, while the walls of heat reinforced a simple message; there would be no escape. Spicy HG uses .EXE Conflagration once again, inflicting each enemy with another stack of a Burn effect for 3d6+12 Fire damage for three ticks.
  12. Cell quickly shoves the tail back into his pack and reaches into his sack of special surprises to retrieve a blueish-white sphere. A good lob lands it somewhere between the Rahi Nui and Icarax. Cell uses Ice Grenade targeting Rahi Nui and Icarax. They each lose 5 Init and act last this round(if they don't act before Cell, if they do they act last next round). Loadout:
  13. Spicy HG took a step back while she recovered from her previous attack and reassessed the battle. Glancing between Mitsu and the Onryo's reactions she raised one hand palm up and clutching a small red burst of flames. "You should've died when you had the chance Demon. Now burn." With her words spoken she let the flame rise, growing to many times its previous size and causing the temperature of the room to jump several degrees. Particularly bright flashes are reserved for each of the enemies in the room, catching them in strokes of flame not unlike solar flares. Spicy HG uses .EXE Conflagration inflicting each enemy with a Burn effect for 3d6+12 Fire damage for three ticks.
  14. Cell paused at the thought for a bit, considering it as he put away the tail and makes a very exaggerated motion to stroke the tip of his chin. After a few seconds of thought something occurs to him and he qyickly shifts into making an odd gesture with the backs of his hands pressed against his chin and his fingers wiggling and writhing like a beard of gribbly tentacles.
  15. Having finished scooping the *ahem* ashes into a small pouch Cell walked over to the group of people slowly gathering to talk to the Makuta. A second or two after Makuta finishes mentioning that he hadn't put them in much danger Cell slowly pulls out the tail of the Bazelgause with on hand and holds up the belt-ring of corrupted masks he collected from the fallen Nui-rama, jingling it a bit while giving Makuta a questioning look.
  16. Magic continues to charge her attack. Bridgett’s spell causes bands of glowing energy to wrap around Magic, binding her into place, breaking her concentration, and causing her spell to disperse. Reality retaliates dealing 2 damage to Bridgett. Magic grunts indignantly and glares at Bridgett in disgust as she struggles against the bindings. 6D prepares to limp into the vehicle. Regen ticks. Defend activates. Deflection Protocol activates. Sun Arcana ticks. Gabriel fires another blast of fire for 61 damage and inflicts more Sun Arcana. Magic twists and struggles as much against reality as her bindings before finally breaking free. “Pathetic. Now you’ll pay though.” She eyes Bridgett with malicious intent. Media is paid for. Perlita uses Diarama, healing 6D for 47 HP. The deafening sound of dropship engines can be heard, followed by a thunderous thud as the AT-TE lands in position. Not long after Saejik climbs aboard a few faint points of light can be seen in the sky. 6D climbs into the Forward Gunner position. Lyra manages to harvest 16 Elder Coins worth of herbs, as well as a bundle of healing herbs for herself. As a free action she can use the Healing Herb to restore 2d6+10 HP to one target. As Lyra offers up the 13 Elder Coins the loot box slowly drifts down to her and the lock on the front rapidly shifts between three bright glows: Gold, Silver, and Bronze. Eventually it slows and almost stops on Gold before flicking to Bronze at the last second. The box opens with a blinding bronze flash and disappears, leaving behind....an entire soccer team? An entire tiny soccer team? They seem unphased by the events going on around them, and their knee-height statures begin weaving between party members as they juggle about a half dozen balls between each other. A small soccer goal appears on the side of the Deity of Greed, with an equally small robotic goalie. Magic lunges at Bridgett, striking her with her scythe as it’s wreathed in crackling white energy. Bridgett takes 13 damage and gets the Skill Seal condition, preventing her from using non-item actions with her next action. Mira takes some drugs and gains the “Edgy” condition. A long narrow tendril of scrap snaps out of the mound making up the Deity of Greed and snatches up all the Elder Coins paid by Lyra and Perlita. The last few signs and bits of machinery that were silent finally flicker and whirr to life. An oppressive shadow falls over the battlefield and an instinctive urge to run, run far and run fast, washes over everyone. Eternal Crunch activates as the Deity of Greed Awakens! On each character's turn, for each action they would otherwise take they instead take twice that many actions. 30 Elder Coins float up from the Deity and two tears in reality open up to release Hire Help. From one comes a black cat-like creature with six legs and two long tentacles sprouting from its back. It fades from vision within seconds of stepping through the portal. The other portal releases a group of six soldiers wearing grey-green uniforms, gas masks, and a distinct red, black, and white armband. Init: Status:
  17. Spicy HG glanced between the Ubume she'd just finished assaulting and the Demon Mitsu was hammering. In a snap judgement she left the weaker wounded enemy to attack the larger threat. "Mitsurugi, let's finish this!" She flung herself forwards again, dashing to strike the Onryō a dozen or more times. Spicy HG uses Coupling Attack! Spicy HG attacks the Onryō with Rush Technique 4d4+4 times for 5 damage each. Her first hit deals an extra 3d4 Fire damage. Mitsurugi may make a 0 cooldown action or equipment attack against the Onryō and deals an extra 3d4 Wind damage on her first hit.
  18. The man gives Satomi a slow nod of confirmation at her reasonable deductions before replying. "The first building you see at the entrance to this world, small, two story, in the middle of a courtyard. Hmm....Well I'm afraid that's all the time I've got left." The man shrugs as he takes the last puff off his pipe and taps the smoldering ash off onto the cobblestones. He turns towards the pathway Satomi had just come from, taking a step that direction. "I'm sure we'll meet again." He walks away with a wave, ignoring any further questions and seeming to melt away with the darkness. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ After nearly an hour of wandering attempting to track Satomi and realizing perhaps too late that this town's layout is a bit more non-Euclidean than it first seems. Kusuke finds himself staring down a narrow alley particularly darker than the others he's been through. Buildings nearby are either windowless, empty, or boarded up. While the periodic gas lamps that have been dotting the area appear dimmer than usual, almost oppressed. Even the starlight is impeded by the patchwork of roofs, awnings, and clotheslines. Up ahead he faintly hears voices, Satomi's and a deep voice of someone he doesn't recognize. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The cat either doesn't hear Leo's question or just opts to ignore him as they continue to saturate the wall with poisonous gas. Leo notices some movement in a windowsill nearby, just above where the cat is applying poison. From another small rodent hole in the crease of the window Leo watches a small brown mouse wearing a full-face gasmask complete with tiny oxygen tanks. It glances up at Leo briefly before glaring down at the cat, whom has yet to notice. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ [20 vs 12] Takumi takes to the magic the cufflinks let him tap into quite adeptly, finding the rhythm and flow of it within just a few minutes and successfully casting a simple spell. Some of the magic seems to linger with him.
  19. After a few moments of tuning Sha'Tith decides he's as ready as he'll ever be and stands up to move towards the dancefloor, all the while slowly building up his music towards pushing out Ginyu Tokusentai. Sha'Tith begins playing Thermodynamic Equilibrium on his Electric Ukulele, it would normally deal 1d6 damage to 4 targets.
  20. Leo's inspection of the area surrounding the wire is quickly interrupted when a large grey-blue and white house cat with no obvious collar comes stalking up on its hind legs holding an...pesticide-smoke gun? With one paw stretched out at roughly Leo's hip level to push him aside the cat eyes a small crack in the wall with a death glare as it jams the business end of the gun into it and starts pumping like mad. A moment or two later and Leo can already see smoke wafting from the seams of the siding with no sign of the cat slowing down. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ "It is a solution to bring one's mind closer to the primal creation." "Indeed as close as we can make it." "We could part with some of this precious potion, but what do you have to offer us hmm?" "Money is well and good, but something rare from the worlds beyond would be...better."
  21. Cell glances quickly between each of the many moving parts of the battle's end, and once the obvious threats are neutralized he takes a moment to plant the starstorm spear that he had been given and gives a victorious fist pump. Though after looking around again he frowns a bit at the complete disappearance of their enemies, after all those monsters had had some sweet armor. Slowly he meanders over to the blackened scotch stain that was once the silver armored creature and pulls out something to use as a dust pan and scoop some of the smoldering ash up to save for later.
  22. Music: Magic slashes at 6D for another 15 damage. Energy in the air ripples around Bridgett as she begins charging an attack. Magic prepares Gravity Slam. 6D lunges at Magic attempting to stun the corrupted Divinity, but she’s too quick! Divine Grace triggers as Magic dodges the attack! The fissures in reality eat at 6D’s being dealing 4 damage. Gravity Slam triggers and Magic hooks her scythe around 6D and sends her flying in the opposite direction as Mira. 6D takes 21 damage and can’t attack Magic in melee with her next action. 6D Regenerates. Gabriel blasts the Deity of Greed with nuclear fire, dealing 28 damage and inflicting Sun Arcana. Sun Arcana ticks, Magic takes 7 damage. Magic swipes at 6D again, dealing another 15 damage. Perlita pays the Piper earning 60 Elder Coins for the party...whatever they’re good for… Then she heals herself, restoring 61 HP! Saejik gives a potent pep-talk granting bonus damage and THP to Gabriel, Mira, and Punch! Lyra manages to scrape up enough scrap metal to sell for 16 Elder Coins. A few of the bits of metal look like old discarded bits of armor too, so she grabs a couple granting her and her allies a 10% damage reduction for a round! A dim orange light casts itself around Magic as she takes a step back, charging something. Mira’s attack obliterates the factory without issue. The mound shifts again, loudspeakers slowly moving to key places on the outer edge before blaring out with the voice of an annoyingly enthusiastic announcer. “L-l-l-ladies and Gentlemen! Prepare yourself for the GAME OF THE DECADE.” A foul energy permeates the air around the mound, clinging to everyone as the voice of the announcer distorts into something more sinister and monstrous. “ŅȬƜ Ἁὐ⍶ɪɭᾷƃḻē ғöӷ öňɫў á Şḿᾃḽḹ Ҏѓɨⅽë.” Launch Day DLC activates! Bridgett’s Valkyrie Breaker action becomes locked! Gabriel’s Mafrelia action becomes locked! Perlita’s Media action becomes locked! Saejik’s Combat Medic action becomes locked! Lyra’s Rush action becomes locked! Mira’s Lunar Stance action becomes locked! Each individual locked action may be unlocked for a payment of [18] Elder Coins(simply declare they are spent and the action is unlocked). A strange box floats out of the Deity of Greed into the air above the battlefield, something glows a bright golden light from within. A Loot-Crate is up for auction! The Deity of Greed bids 12 Elder Coins on it, anyone else can counter its offer with a better one and win the crate for their team! Init: Status:
  23. Francis: As Francis takes the drink he can quickly feel the glow permeating his body, causing everything around him to gain an unnatural glow, something harsh and almost painful at first but that fades with time. After a few moments to adjust he notices the various fungi in the establishment retain the most of the glow in veins and mesmerizing patterns, and the two Fungimancers altered similarly. The other patrons however aren't left quite as similar. Of the two cowboys closest to Francis the one dressed in black is like a cold shadow, a colorless blank in a room of vibrance nearly choking out the man next to him. Glowing red blood drips from the hilt of the knight's sword, but not the blade, and a snake wraps around his arm. The lizardmen each glow a different almost blinding color, crimson with smoking eyes and black horns, blue with a single horn and sparking haze, and white with a misty crown of diamond shaped ice crystals. The Norseman's arms appear etched with glowing runes in a myriad of colors while the old fashioned woman has spider-like legs and features over her own that glow a feint purple. The being made of stars seems to expand into an impossible vastness that covers everything and yet remains calmly seated and contain, while the little creature beside it despite being dwarfed are ever-present. Lastly the images of skulls overlay the heads of each of the astronauts, with glowing skeletons visible through their suits. Leo: Leo finds the damaged powerlines easily enough. Given the obvious yellow caution tape and bright orange cones in front of a loudly and brightly sparking segment of cable. The cable appears to be insulated and bolted to the bricks along the backmost wall of the district, running from a building on one end to another catty-corner from it. Takumi: Surprisingly enough Takumi finds an unused room nicely furnished and decorated with blooming yellow flowers. Inside there is a second door leading to a small stocked bathroom.
  24. Harold raises one eyebrow at Juaquin's continued harassment. "Ya know kid just because she's the only one with a license doesn't mean that she's the only one who can figure out how to dig out a bullet or sew closed a wound. 'Course it'd take me a while longer on account of having to dig out my sewing kit and wipe the crud off 'it. Or you could ask the pirate man, pretty sure he's got'emself a carpenter on his ship."
  25. Harold reaches over and raps the reinforced sheet metal wall of the ship with the back of his knuckles just hard enough to get a dull thud. "I've made rust buckets that make this thing look like a luxury cruiser fly in a vacuum. Course' where I from you've still got cold unforgiving space out there instead ah....nothin'." Harold shrugs off the sudden dwelling on the severity of the situation after a few moments. "Suppose yer just as dead either way. Anyhow, the rest ah the crew consists of a super soldier with no regard for his own life, some kinda space wizard, an outdated pirate, some kid hooked on holo tapes, a lady who stares at things, an' a hothead claiming to be a god."
