Oh right the dad thing isn't mentioned yet. RIP, sorry. P sure the rest was mentioned in the last two episodes though. 

When I read “spoiler”, I immediately turned away and started typing this comment. Shigaraki’s villainous trait is not the reason why I don’t like him. It’s just his childish attitude. I just see him complain again and again and he seems to always fail at every single thing he does. He’s like a kid who needs constant pampering from All for One. Hope he steps up his game soon enough.

Personally, I kinda like that about him. It shows him as a rookie villain with just a lot of power at his disposal, similar to Midoriya. Hence the story follows his growth too, alongside Midoriya and the rest of 1A. And yes, he does get better.
