Pokemon Full Moon Blind Run (Complete)
Filthy Casual replied to Filthy Casual's topic in Fan-game Exposé
Chapter 22: The Distorted Disturbance Before we went further into the haunted house, I decided to box Ira (Latias) for a bit. She would be useless, and I wanted to try out a secret weapon. Don't worry, you'll see who in a bit... Eventually, we found Redi at the bottom of the house. However, Scuros had prevented us from moving, trapping us with him. Now, for a personal side note; I love using ghost types. They are generally tricky to use, but they are masters of utility, whether it be through status ailments, good sweeping, or just being Destiny Bond suicide bombers... ...but by god, I HATE FIGHTING THESE THINGS! We eventually made our ultimatum to Scuros: However, as we were doing that, it was time for a plot twist... That's right! The professor is the one who experimented on Hakon's family! It was time for revenge! After winning, Scuros decided that we weren't worth his time, taking Redi with him. Thanks for reiterating that, Scuros! Where did they go, you may ask? No, Luna. The sentence should read "Redi has been sent to the Distortion World..." Before we headed in, we decided to explore the room for a bit. We turned right, and... We're catching Giratina, aren't we? We ended up in the Distortion World, where Olvin was waiting for us! He told us that Scuros took Redi to the forest. Luna didn't trust him, prompting Redi to say this: We decided to trust him, following him to... to... We're at that point, folks... We ventured into the woods, where we found the Demon Chicken about to feast upon Redi! We quickly went to battle in the only way we knew how: Called it! There was only one intimidating name for Giratina: Nailed it. We took our time to escape from the distortion world. Redi vowed to quit Team Lightning as a favor to us for saving his life, and... I've noticed something about this game; when it's at its best, it's being original. Take Scuros for example; you know, evil Shade. What do you think is more intimidating? Shade's sprite... ...or this? Yes, it's strange that his laugh is from Flowey, but I'm still loving the game when it's original. Unfortunately, there are too many instances where the game goes through the motions as if it's a corporate movie. That battle against Ariëtta was beyond unfortunate. She didn't deserve that treatment. However, we're finally starting to head in the right direction! Next time, we will be heading back to Chan to continue the story! Current Team- 110 replies

Pretty good, but I feel as if Mareanie could be replaced with Alolan Muk. Just seems to offer more of a challenge and balance to her team.

Chapter 21: 420 Blazes Back After our encounter with Reshiram, we decided to continue onward to the next route. As we were heading out, however, we first had to inform our friends, Ariëtta and Hakon. We told them about our adventures with Team Lightning, and how we defeated Reshiram in battle. This prompted Ariëtta to say this: Honestly, this is the worst possible setup for a badge ever. We are fighting is a small train station for a badge, only because she says "Hey, let's fight, lol." Still, the fight couldn't be that hard, right? For our efforts in our battle, we received the Overcompensating Badge! Seriously, why is there so much on that badge? It doesn't have to be that fancy... ...anyway, we also got a new TM: Rain Dance! Either way, we continued on with our adventure, where we found a haunted house. As we ventured toward the house, however, we found someone waiting for us: Dinor! It was time to fight! After our fight, Dinor tried to taunt us, saying that we would kill him, like how we killed Lavius. However, this caused Luna to say this stellar comeback... ...wow. Just wow... After that amazing line of dialogue, however, this prompted Dinor to tell us this: That's right! Not-Solaris has passed away! Chan is now the new dragon leader! Strangely enough, Luna doesn't act as if it's a big deal whatsoever. I suppose I'm not surprised, as this game does not do a good job developing personalities, but it's still jarring to see. Before we entered the house, however, we found a little girl about to be abducted by a Drifloon! We quickly went to save her! Afterwards, we entered the house, where we found out that the thing which kidnapped Redi was in fact the ghost leader Scuros! Again, bravo to whoever did this sprite. We explored the haunted house a bit, catching new members along the way. Eventually, we ran into a strange spirit in the mansion. I'm not going to lie; I almost lost here. Luckily, Mary (Froslass) came through for me, but I may actually need to train! Next time, we will be continuing to explore the haunted house! Current Team- 110 replies

Dear, oh dear. It's giving me flashbacks to the Zeta/Omicron fire gym, where it is mean to set you up in a 1v2 scenario.

Chapter 20: Luna's Legs of Steel After getting our badge, we decided to meet with Ariëtta and Hakon. Before we did that, however, I noticed something out of the corner of my eye... As we were speaking to Ariëtta, she rewarded us for beating the gym with... ...Cut? I'm not mad, but I'm a bit surprised that we are so late into the game, and we finally got our first HM Move. Rock Smash doesn't count, as that's a TM. Still, we eventually cut down that tree in the image to find TM02, Dragon Claw! Afterwards, we made it to the station, where Hakon gave us a challenge. It was time to fight! This allowed us to travel the ocean! Clearly, we would get an awesome cutscene or picture of art like with Hobbes (Arcanine) from the beginning of the game... ...or, we just get there. Strangely enough, that Arcanine picture has been the only art in the game so far, and frankly, that's a shame. As you can see, though, Olvin informs us that Team Lightning has arrived at the volcano. We quickly rushed to the top. However, take a quick look at this: Eventually, we made it to the top, where we found... However, it didn't stop there. Team Lightning tried to take our Light Stone, summoning Reshiram! However, these morons also seemed to forget to bring Pokeballs! As such, we got to capture another legendary as if its presence meant nothing! After that, Team Lightning just left, as if whatever just happened didn't matter. Still, we found yet another item two feet away from Reshiram. Next time, we will continue to make our way through the volcano! Current Team- 110 replies

At this point, the only thing I can recommend to you is you download another file of Rejuvenation and transfer those text files over.

Chapter 19: Transparent Turmoil After our highly disappointing battle with Olvin, we decided to meet Ariëtta and Hakon back at the route. They both told us to try our hand at the gym leader from Clay City! I actually remembered that city, as it was the one with a ground leader! This got me extremely excited. 420 (Venusaur), Bloody Mary (Froslass), and Achilles (Swampert) would have a field day in this gym. As we were heading down to get a bit more training on Original (Zoroark), we found something much better... We eventually made our way to the gym, where... ...it kind of sucks. It's just a guessing game to see which one lets you pass. It's extremely underwhelming from the last gym. We eventually made it to the gym leader, where we got another bad vibe. That bottom sprite looks quite familiar. Where could we have- ...it's Amber, isn't it? After that win, we received our rewards! First, the Chaos Emerald Badge! Finally, we received a fairly decent TM for this point in the game: Bulldoze! Next time, we will continue on with our adventure! Current Team- 110 replies

I might be on to something. But what does it mean?
Filthy Casual replied to Sceptilespy's topic in Rejuvenation
I think that third person is Erin, especially since they both have the same clothes. Having said that, my guess is that V is Volta. Volta has been mysteriously absent, and V happens to be a reporter for the underground. -
With Insurgence coming out soon, the Zeta Randomizer is likely going to be put on hiatus. However, I will still be doing my Full Moon Blind Run!

Chapter 18: Downgrade After that excellent gym battle with the ice leaders, we went back to celebrate with Chan, only to see we had other guests ready to join us... ...and by that, I mean capture everyone. Don't get me wrong; Chan is still a moron for not locking the doors. However, so is everyone in the Pokemon universe for doing so. We ended up confronting Chan about the situation, who told us this: Reid then came up to us, and I'll be honest, I don't have the heart to post the dialogue. It's really bad. Still, he challenged us to a battle. It was time to fight! Redi was indeed easily manhandled. With that victory, we- WHAT THE FUCK IS THAT THING?! It ended up taking Redi, and then... Time to be frank for a bit; this episode was a huge quality change. It started off at Full Moon's very worst, with Team Not-Meteor's pathetic introduction. However, it managed to end really strong with the gym battle and the introduction to that... thing (seriously, bravo to whoever did that sprite). It's strange, because I'm getting really tired of these quality jumps. Still, we decided to continue on with the story. Understandably, Orchedy was distraught over losing her brother. We ended up telling the others about it. Hakon and Ariëtta decided to help us. However, Hakon first recommended this: We ended up checking out the ship. Here are some things that happened: We eventually went in the ship, and honestly, it looks amazing! The graphics look really good here! However, I feel as if this area may need to be tested a bit more. I don't think you should be able to walk through some walls... We ended up going deeper through the ship, where... Oh, snap! Time for a rematch! Olvin decided to offer us a spot on his team. However, he forgot that he sucks, and therefore, we turned down his offer. Next time, we will actually begin our quest to look for Redi! Current Team- 110 replies

Oh my goodness, you're right! I have to think of something, quickly! Um... ...one of the ice leaders is Sidney. Seriously, though, the game is definitely getting better. I just wish it was like this from the beginning. The quality fluctuates way too much.- 110 replies

Chapter 17: A Warrior's Wrath We decided to continue our journey by going back to the snowy town from the beginning of the game. As it turns out, there was a gym there I completely missed. As such, we began to head over. THIS was the frozen lake from the beginning of the game! That is excellent attention to detail! Now, we get to relive the same environment, except this time, in the summer... ...well, at least until we walk fifty feet to the left. If anyone wanted to get that Charmander at the casino, I'm sure they are really happy right about now. Before we went to challenge the gym, we went to talk with Hakon. He gave us a story. Apparently, he grew up in a family of Zoroark. However, said Zoroark were captured and experimented upon, resulting in the death of his family. Even Hakon was experimented on. It's a sad story, but honestly, I've already heard it before from N. It's just N's story, but more edgy. Still, he gave us an opportunity to catch something! Eventually, we made our way to the ice gym! I have a couple things to say about this gym... Eventually, we made our way to the gym leaders... ...wait, gym leaders? That's right! This would be a double battle! It was time for a showdown! For winning, we received the Triangle Badge! We then received our- -oh, it's Ice Beam, isn't it? Well, Bloody Mary (Froslass) is certainly going to appreciate it! We weren't done, though. We saw a ladder in the back of the gym, where we wandered down to find... Next time, we will continue on with our quest! Are there any suggestions you have for my team as of now? Current Team- 110 replies

Chapter 3: The Reign of Triton the Terrible After finding the Legend Researcher, we decided to take on the first gym. Funny enough, it actually has an interesting setup. After making it through, we quickly went to battle! After the battle, we received a prize, which happened to be... ...oh, no... I have a similar problem with Full Moon. I believe there are certain TMs you shouldn't receive until the end of the game, and Brick Break is one of them! Regardless, Justice (Riolu) happily took the move. With Strength on hand, we went back to the cave to collect one more item: Next time, we will be heading through the next route! Who should we catch? What should their names be? It's up to you! Sorry, it's only on the Mystery Egg. I would request one on the trade forums.

I did the Walrein ranking, and I think it should be dropped down to C- now that Amber's fight has changed. Also, having done Alolan Muk, it should be raised to A+.
