I think the next one should be available after you beat the next two gymleaders (not entirely sure though) Edit: Nvm, I think it's this way: You can do the first one after defeating Adrienn, the second one after defeating the next gym leader and the third one after you defeat the one after the next one AND have E18 (which obviously won't be out for quite some time)

First of all, you have some unusual choices - I like that. That being said, Noctowl just doesn't cut it, it doesn't have great stats. (It may do alright in the poison gym, but I'd kick it right after. Cofragigus and Blaziken I'd definitely keep. Granbull may be a fairy type, but it doesn't have great stats either AND it's extremely vulnerable to poison. I'd say, kick it as well. If you happened to obtain an Azurill from the mystery egg, I think your team could truly benefit from Azumarill. Edit: I approve of the recommendation of @Thundermaze - Crobat could be a really good addition! I also think Togekiss could be very valuable (after this gym)

Not gonna lie, I only just realised that I could just randomise my starter and take whatever fitting Pokemon comes up first! That being said, the poll is running and I'll stick to it. Right now, it looks to be a close one between Bulbasaur and Totodile! I'm not sure how long until I close the poll, but for now, it'll stay open. However, I will delete the three answers with the least votes and add the "randomise" option. Everyone can feel free to share this as I believe the more voters, the better.

Ladies and gentlemen! I hereby present you the thread to my newest run - one themed a nostalgia run. Like probably most of us, I grew up during the early generations of Pokemon, my first games being the blue version and the gold version. On the latter, I reached my first milestones, the most notable being getting my first Pokemon to level 100. It was my old friend Typhlosion. Now going into the details of every milestone and all the fun I had during the first two generations of Pokemon would be too much to cover in this post. I was still heavily involved when Pokemon Ruby came around, and that was probably the first game where I really got into trying to complete that Pokedex as far as possible, trading the get what was exclusive to Sapphire or Fire Red/Leaf Green. And I did it. (As far as it was possible without cheating) After that, things got a bit slow, and while I still enjoyed Diamond and Pearl and played the 5th generation as well, those and the following ones just weren't the same. (Actually, I haven't played S/M or US/UM at all) And I'm not really a fan of Arceus and all the hype around it (#TeamMew - although Lugia is my favorite legendary) And as the nostalgia hit me some time ago, I decided that I was gonna do a run on Reborn to remember and honor that time. Obviously, there are rules to this run: I believe I have covered the essentials. At this point, this run is still in the "set-up" phase. Uni is very time-intensive right now and I want to make this an experience all of you can follow and enjoy with me properly, therefore it will take some time to get things started. However, there is something you can do to take part in this before the run has even started. Initially I had planned on choosing Cyndaquil as my starter (for obvious reasons) and just going from there. Things changed a bit when I just managed to breed a shiny Cyndaquil - the first shiny I've EVER bred. Even though I'm not sure what I think about shiny Typhlosion yet (mainly because the pictures I found of it don't match the sprite it has now - I believe it's shiny form was changed at least one or two times), I will use that one. That being said, I will still have to choose a starter at the beginning of the game, therefore I have created a poll for you to vote. Yours truly, MRC (also, I apologise for any mistakes in advance as English isn't my mother tongue)

If you haven't fought Adrienn (14th gym) yet (which I assume), getting Beldum and eventually Metagross looks like it could benefit your team. It's not a very unique option, but certainly one that could help improving your team

I absolutely love Typhlosion (oh, nostalgia), and I'd be really glad to have a good regular male one! I've got a few starters I could trade in exchange for it as well as a Dedenne (not sure about the IVs though)

This is an absolute fantastic idea, really looking forward to it! I hope I haven't made too many mistakes there, wasn't always sure what to do.. (for example when I don't use nicknames) The important things are: Form-wise, I'd like it to be Alola-Ninetales & Mega-Despotar; Ability-wise, the most important ones are No-Guard for Machamp and Multi-Scale for Dragonite (just in case I've made mistakes there) It would be absolutely incredible to see this ingame (and while it has heavy hitters, I believe there are more than enough ways to beat it)

Amazing work! At the start I found it a bit hard to navigate through it and find what I was looking for since there's not much formatting, however that's really minor. I've got a question though: If I didn't do the Igglybuff-Sidequest pre-restoration (I obviously can't do it post restoration), is there another way to get the luck incense? (I wouldn't have missed that one had I read your guide at that point)

I have now reached the point where I should be able to access the cave on Route 2 that is blocked by a crustle (I have beaten Ciel and obtained Fly). However, getting rage powder and then flying to the Mansion doesn't seem to work (I believe the powder gets spilled by doing so - anyways, it doesn't work for me) Does anyone here know how to get access to that cave? Do I maybe need Dig for some interaction? Every bit of help is much appreciated.

Just to update: Charlotte and Terra are done (altough Terra had some true monsters), now at Amaria's house after saving her, where you have the consecutive battles against the meteors - the battles are alright, now overleveling is the true problem until I aquire the next badge. (My traded Scrafty went from 74 to 79 during the first two battles)
