Personally, I believe that the high difficulty is not really a problem because that's supposed to be the point of a league, to take on the best of each type and to see how well your team fares.

well, malamar is better with Trick room and topsy turvy (creates inverse field), but if you want to use scarf, contrary+ superpower causes a lot of damage for me

if you want STAB go with iron head, if you want coverage go with sacred sword, personally prefer sacred sword

you need coverage ( like HP rock on serperior ) and strategy, strong offense might not really work always -
