Well, got up to Silver rank 4 again.  Not sure if I can get to 5 before the server goes down for maintenance.  Needless to say, didn't get to gold before the KC cup, so I guess I'll start in a lower category if it works like last time.

"That Grass Looks Greener" would work a lot better for consistency in Gem Knights (getting more Gems or Gem Fusion) if so many of people in Silver didn't have 30 card decks when they don't need to, with almost all of those being random mishmashes.  Gem Knights seem to work good at 30, at least slightly better than the 20 variant I tried.  I actually dug into a mostly useless old box just to pick up two copies of 'Needlebug Nest' for an alternative, which works good if I actually draw into it..........or if Grass doesn't dump both copies as well as the one vanilla Poly just to screw with me.  Well, I have them in case I ever need discard options in a 20 card deck sometime in the future as well.

Also switched from Zane to Aster, for Aster's "Master of Fusion" skill for getting a vanilla Poly if I need it......as long as I survive getting my LP down by 1800 but not to 0.  I was using Zane's ability to summon up to 3 Proto Cyber Dragons as a last defense shield if I couldn't get enough 3 gems and a fusion card to get Brilliant Lady Diamond out.  They sometimes worked, but usually the extra draw didn't reverse the situation.  I was trying to get Zane's skill that gives him "Power Bond" but no extra skills on Zane despite occasionally farming him for skills since I unlocked him.

@Kabs  Well, it's almost time for Tristan to grace us with his voice again.......though I think it's just another wandering event, since the next event unlock isn't till next month and is probably GX's alien hermaphrodite or just female in the dubs where they gave Yubel an extra breast.
