With a flick of her wrist, Alexandria disengages her hard-light deflector shield, allowing the hexagonal panes to disintegrate into tiny, glassy shards that rapidly sublimate now that the magnetic fields holding them in place are no longer present. When Bazelgeuse stands up, Cicivexa lays unconscious and broken in a smoldering crater. Cicivexa has been downed and acquired a wound: Bazelgeuse spreads her wings, creating a violent gust of wind that rattles the glowing scales hanging from her body. It's clear that the wind from her downstroke will send scales hurling about at random as she takes off! Hahli and Nuparu come to the obvious conclusion, exchange a quick nod, and tackle the most fragile-looking of their staggered allies, Cap and Gozer, hurling themselves, the golem, and Captain Forgotten Realms behind a nearby tree. Then he uses Barbed Wire to deal 1 pure and 20 normal damage to her, and Bully to keep her from targeting him! The pure damage ignores the shield, but the rest is just barely caught by the defensive field, though it makes a whine of protest. His Ukulele blasts the Deadites for 13 damage, downing another one! Cell uses Giant Killer on Bazelgeuse, dealing 104 damage! Tsubasa uses First Form, dealing 88 damage to Bazelgeuse! Then she uses Reaction to use Chain Lightning on Bazelgeuse, the Nui-Rama, and Bazelgeuse again, dealing 23, 25, and 30 damage! Another Nui-Rama falls. Hikari stabs a Nui-Rama for 26 damage! It dies. Travis machine guns every single Nui-Rama and Bazelgeuse. Another Nui-Rama is dead. Gozer and Cap throw caltrops at Bazelgeuse and the remaining Nui-Rama Cicivexa uses Flare III, dealing 42 damage to Bazelgeuse and 3 of the Nui-Rama, killing the giant bugs. Hahli throws another disk, dealing 14 damage and slaying another Nui-Rama. Edmond heals himself with Quick Tune Up and his autoregen, recovering 31 HP Nuparu takes some spare parts from the abundant Nui-Rama corpses and uses it to repair Travis' damaged tank, healing it for 9 HP. The single surviving Nui-Rama flies away at full speed, having decided that Tsubasa's tasty, tasty blood is very much not worth this. Bazelgeuse steps on the caltrops, and she stumbles, scattering explosive scales from her neck! The scales go off in a ragged chorus, dealing 17 damage to everyone as the bombs turn into celestial spears just before impact! Bazelgeuse turns toward Cicivexa and rears up, preparing to charge!
