Taka: Jeez… It’s been almost a full week since that incident at that Water Gym Leader’s place. Must have taken a real beating to beat out this long. Stantler: -groans in stress- Taka: He’ll be alright Rudie. He’s just really out of it right now. Matthew: Urgh… Huh… Taka: Matthew! Are you awake?! I was starting to come around to the world of reality. I began to move around but as soon as I did, I could feel an immense pain in my stomach. My cracked ribs were rubbing up against each other with any move I took. It was the worst feeling I ever felt in my entire life. My head was also in pain. A really bad headache. Despite the incredible pain I was feeling, I pushed myself to sit upright. I looked over to Taka who seemed worried about my condition. Taka: Holy… You’re awake! I’m so glad! Matthew: Me too… Although- Ugh! M-Maybe sleeping would still be better c-considering… -takes a deep breath to try to keep the pain down- This sucks… Hehe. Taka: You should try to take it easy for a while. Your ribs are cracked. Matthew: And I got a splitting headache. Taka: That’s no surprise. The back of your head hit the glass wall when you flew back from that attack from Tyranitar. Matthew: Yea… Hey. What happened after I lost consciousness? Taka: I beat my father and then Titania flooded her house to get them to go away but Amaria… Matthew: I-Is she ok? Taka: I mean she seems fine but… she seems to have gotten amnesia. Matthew: Amnesia? Taka: Yea. She doesn’t know you and she thought that the plant life from Obsidia was still going on. Matthew: Urgh… Fuck… Wait. What about Florinia? Taka: She’s fine too. She went up to Calcenon to see if she can try to get her brother to get away from Team Meteor. Matthew: I don’t- Ow! Fuck this pain! I don’t think that’s gonna work but… she’s showing she cares. Taka: Yea. Btw, you were talking in your sleep. Matthew: I was huh? Not shocking… Ugh… Taka: Who’s Wehttam? Matthew: Hehe… I guess I should explain this to you now. I started to explain to him who Wehttam was and actually Mattam. He seemed very shocked that I had another soul inside of me and how he could take over my body anytime I was scared. He seemed to remember about Mattam though. At least somewhat. I did 1st become Mattam when I was on Pyrous Mountain and he was there to witness it. It’s probably the only reason why he didn’t think I was crazy when I got done explaining everything to him. Taka: Wow… Another soul is inside of you… This is nuts! Matthew: Yea… Not a lot of people know about it. Taka: Yea. They’d probably think you’d be crazy if that was the case. Definitely got some cracked ribs and a head wound. I’m surprised you’re still not out. It’s been 5 days. Matthew: I-I’ve been out for 5 days? Urgh. Samson: Yep. And… we know about your buddy here too. Matthew: Wha-What do you mean? Taka: I told them about my involvement with Team Meteor. Matthew: Ohh shit. Samson: Hey hey. Taka: Except for that she’s crazy, that’s all I really got. I tried not to be around too much when she was there with us. Samson: Well that’s a bummer. Ciel came into the room. Just like with Samson before, she seemed happy and relieved to see that I was at least awake and conscious. Ciel: Ohh thank heavens you’re alright. Matthew: Well I don’t know a-about alright… But I’m alive. Ciel: Indeed you are. Your friend here has informed us about your other friends. I do hope they’re all ok. Matthew: M-Me too. Ciel: I’m sure Samson here has already told you but we haven’t been able to find our friend at all. Samson: At this point, I don’t know if I would call her a friend. Ciel: I’m implying that you might have outright deleted her! And you know what that would mean?! We’d go back to being the Agate Ace Doublet! Taka: Don’t you guys have a Ground Reserve Gym Leader? Been giving us a scare for the past couple of days with you unconscious like that. Matthew: Heh. Sorry about that… Next time, I’ll try to land somewhere s-softer. Ringmaster: So, any luck yet? Samson: Nope. Ringmaster: That’s too bad… Although the number of on site injuries has really dropped since she’s been gone. Taka: Doesn’t shock me in the least. Ciel: So… what now? Ciel: That whole thing was nuts. You do realize it’s against the rules to battle with an unowned Pokemon right? Matthew: I didn’t actually. Ciel: Well if you wanna use this Stantler in the battle, you must catch it and then you’ll be able to use it. Otherwise, it can’t be used. We chose to overlook the battle with Terra because of the whole she’s a Team Meteor member and all of that. But I’ll meet you out there Matthew. -leaves the area- Samson: I think I’m gonna go out there and watch. This should be entertaining. Good luck out there man! -leaves the room- Taka: Well… what are you gonna do? I looked at 1 of the extra PokeBalls I had and then back at Stantler. I did actually want to catch it but if it didn’t want to be caught, I wasn’t going to go against its wishes. Surprisingly though, it came up to me and touched the PokeBall and instantly went into it. Taka and I were both surprised. Matthew: Well… looks like I got my answer. Taka: Yea. It’s cool you got a new forever friend with you now. Matthew: Yea. It is. Ugh. I think I’m gonna go to the computer and deposit 1 of my Pokemon now. Taka helped me up off of the couch. With each step I took, I could feel my cracked ribs rub up against each other which hurt like fucking hell but I was determined to do it. When I made it over to the PC, I logged on and deposited my Decidueye since it would be at a disadvantage in this Gym Battle. Taka then told me he’d stand outside the room and watch the battle from outside the room and then left. Before I went out, I painfully walked over to the computer and pushed the call button to see if Ame could give me some info about battling Ciel. Ame: Hey Matthew. How are you doing? Matthew: As good as I can be right now. Ame: Ciel called me the night you made it there. I’m sorry for what happened to you. Matthew: It’s… It’s ok. But hey. Give me some info about Ciel? Ame: Wait. You’re gonna have a Gym Battle in the condition you’re in? Matthew: Yep. Ame: You’re crazy Matt. -chuckles- I guess I won’t be able to change your mind right? Matthew: Most definitely not. Ame: Alright. I’m sure you’re already familiar with the field you’re fighting on. So remember everything about what happened when you had your Gym Battle against Samson. But Ciel is the opposite of him. Instead of all out offensive, she’s more defensive. Her Pokemon are more bulky set ups. So it’s harder to knock them out. With her being a performer at heart, it shows in her battles. She prefers to use dancing and sound based moves. And being in an arena, it’s the perfect place for those things to get her going. Try to knock her down before she sets up. Matthew: Alright. I think I can do that. Thanks for the info Ame. Ame: No problem. Good luck Matthew. And get better soon too. With that, the screen went black. I psyched myself up as much as I could and slowly walked out on the arena. Ciel was on the other side as the Ringmaster was in the center about to give the Gym Battle announcement. Ringmaster: Ladies aaannnd gentlemen! Your attention please to an exciting exclusive challenge to the esteemed Agate Ace Triumvirate Leaders! Today, in the left corner, we have a returning challenger to Agate and may I just say, he is seriously hurt and in pain but is willing to go through with this fight… Matthew! I waved as much as I could before I started to feel in real pain. I hunched over but I gave Ciel a half smirk, letting her know that even though I was still messed up, I wasn’t gonna be easy to battle against. Ringmaster: And in the right corner! You’ve seen her prancing through the stage! And not just the stage! The very air itself! Dancing through the skies and hearts the same… She is Agate Circus’ very own spotlit starlet… Ciel!!! Ciel: Thank you, thank you! You are too kind, my fans! And too generous! Ringmaster: This will be a 6-on-6 Singles Battle! Let us see how our performers dazzle us today! Matthew: Yea! Let’s- Ohh fuck! Let’s… Let’s give ‘em a show! The battle started and we each threw out our PokeBalls. I’ll admit, it was a pretty difficult battle. With my mind racing all over to what move she was gonna do, what move I should use, if my Pokemon could take the move, my cracked ribs and the headache, I couldn’t totally concentrate. Ciel was definitely a capable battler. As she commanded her Pokemon, it was as if she was flying through the air with her Pokemon. It was magnificent! But by the end, it scraped by with the win. I yelled out in a happy scream of victory but I fell to my knees when my ribs started to hurt immensely from that. Matthew: O-Oh fuck. That fucking hurts. Gotta remember I shouldn’t do that for a while yet. Hehe… Ringmaster: There it is! Matthew seizes victory this time! Ciel: And I don’t regret it in the least. Good show Matthew! Good show! Matthew: Y-You too Ciel. Ringmaster: And as a prize for winning, Matthew gets the Suspension Badge! -throws the badge to Matt- Matthew: -catches it- D-Did you really have to throw it with me being how… how I am right now? Ciel turned around and went to go sit on the couch. Take and I were confused as to why she seemed so down but we figured it was best to not bother her about it. Instead we made it outside and started our walk back near to the waterfall area. Well, I actually rode on Stantler while Taka walked alongside. Although it still hurt moving, it was better than walking all the way there. When we got there, I got off Stantler and returned it to its PokeBall. Taka: So what are we doing here? Matthew: W-We both don’t have Pokemon that can learn Fly right? Taka: You’re right. Matthew: But we both have a Gliscor and they can glide. Taka: Ok. I think I see what you’re getting at. Matthew: Look down there. You see that big door? Taka: Yea I do. That’s huge! Matthew: That’s the Grand Gate. It’s open. Taka: Ohh yea. El told us about that when he joined us. His Gliscor, along with mine, popped out of their PokeBalls and landed in front of us. Taka climbed onto his easily but I had some trouble with mine thanks to my injuries. It took a while but I was able to get on it but Taka was a bit worried. Taka: Are you sure we shouldn’t wait til you’re a bit better? I mean what if you lose your grip and you fall off? I felt myself feeling very relaxed and comfortable for some reason. I wasn’t so sure why though. A Tyranitar freaking punched me in the gut, causing me some great pain, sent me flying back against a glass wall, I bashed my head off of said glass wall and after fighting to stay conscious for a while, I finally passed out. But I laid there feeling ok and relaxed somehow. I opened my eyes and sat up. I was back. I was back in whatever setting Wehttam had planned for us to meet up in this time. I looked over and saw him standing in front of me. I stood up and looked around my surroundings. Matthew: Heh. The place where I was knocked out. Makes sense. Wehttam: Yeeeees. Welcome back here Matthew. It seems you have taken quite a beating in the world of the conscious. Matthew: You can say that again. I’m kind of glad I’m dreaming right now. Whenever I wake up, I know my stomach is gonna be in fucking pain. Wehttam: Very much so. But you shall survive. I have foreseen it! Matthew: Well… that’ll be good at least. Wait… Shit! This conversation will continue until you are ready to wake up to go back to reality. Matthew: Any idea when that’ll be? Wehttam: Very soon. Shouldn’t be that much longer in fact. Wehttam: Hmm… Taka will be filling you in on the events that went down before you were knocked out. You already know about your ribs being cracked. I suppose the only thing I can tell you is that when you wake up, you will have a splitting headache which will last for at least a full day. Your ribs? I cannot tell you how long they will hurt for. Matthew: Why not? Wehttam: I literally don’t know when they will feel better. Matthew: Ohh… Wehttam: But, in all of those bad moments, you will have a very happy moment. After your battle against Ciel for her Gym Badge, you and Taka shall head back to Reborn City and… well, you’ll find out. Matthew: Hmm. Well I’m looking forward to that now. I laid back down on the ground and drifted back off to sleep. I couldn’t wait to find out what had happened as I was unconscious and with Taka taking control. When we made it onto land, Taka and I hopped off of Clawitzer and I returned it back to my PokeBall. When we turned around, Stantler came up to me and started to lick my face. Matthew: -chuckles- I’ve missed you too Rudie. Taka: Is that your Stantler Matt? Matthew: Umm… Kind of. I’ve used it in battles but I’ve never caught it. It let’s me ride around on it. Taka: That sounds cool. So… what do we do now? Matthew: Well we should probably check in with Titania and Amaria and see how they’re doing and then depending on the situation, we’ll rest there or go back to Agate Circus and have a long rest. Taka: Sounds like a good plan. Matthew: Before we go though, what do you plan on doing? Do you have any idea? Taka: Umm… I’m not sure yet. Matthew: Alright. That’s fine. Just thought I’d ask. Wehttam must have been going crazy from seeing Florinia again after so long of not seeing her. Matthew: Hey hey. Calm down. I know Florinia’s here. Taka: Who are you talking to? Matthew: Wehtta… Ohh right. I’ll have to explain it to you later. Julia: Matthew! You’re here! Oh my god! How are you? It’s totally been about 48 episodes since I saw you last time! I was happy to have gotten this but unfortuantely, I didn’t have a Pokemon that could learn this move. Despite Gliscor being a Flying Type, I knew he couldn’t learn this move for whatever reason. However, I thanked her for it and placed it into my pocket. Julia: After you get done beating a Seel, you’ll get the badge and then you have to come back to Reborn! Florinia: Ciel. Matthew: -stomach growls and rumbles- Jeesh. Calm down. Julia: Riniii, that’s what I just said! Jeez! Anyways, once you get that, you and you’re friend have to come back to the city and say hi! You should SEE what we’ve done to the place! Matthew: What’s been done? What do you mean? Julia: That old Fairy Gym Leader, Adrienn I think, showed up and was able to rally everyone into helping renovate the city and it’s practically EXPLODED with progress! It had been months since I 1st arrived here and I remembered how the streets and the buildings and the atmosphere was so just downright down in the dumps. But I was glad that I had run into Adrienn when me and some others were going after El in that place underground. I looked over to Taka and could even see some excitement from his facial expressions as well. But then, we all heard a weird noise. The lot of us turned around and looked up in the air and spotted something. Julia: What is that? Matthew: Is that… a helicopter? Taka: Wait a minute… That’s a Team Meteor helicopter! Florinia: Confirmed. Team Meteor spotted. Julia: What?! They’re here to! No way! I’m gonna boomboom their faces off if they try to do anything to Amy and Tania! -runs off towards the building- Florinia: This situation may not be easily resolved. Let’s lure them in here and then blow the whole place up on their faces and then the rest of us can sneak out unharmed! Matthew: Julia, explosions aren’t the answer for everything. Everyone got into position. There was a big explosion that could be heard from upstairs and down came Solaris. His eyes and my eyes locked onto each others. Solaris: So, it seems we are not unexpected. Matthew: You’d be dumb to think that we wouldn’t be. Solaris: Heh. So cocky. I will make this simple. You will give us the Sapphire Bracelets and you will be left in peace. Matthew: Aaannnd if we refuse? Solaris: We will take them by force and you will be left in ruin. A couple of Team Meteor Grunts came crashing through the glass windows and landed inside. 2 of them ran up to Florinia and I and a battle broke out. It really wasn’t that hard to dispose of them though as the 2 of us were victorious over them. After that, a voice could be heard. A familiar voice. Sirius came up through the door dragging Fern by the collar of his shirt. Taka must have hidden somewhere so Sirius wouldn’t have noticed him. I couldn’t blame him for that. Fern: What the fuck! Let me fucking go! What do you think you’re doing? Matthew: Seriously? Fern: Shut up Matt! Don’t you see the predicament I’m in?! Sis, help! Sirius: The Bracelets for his life. Another window could be heard being broken into. Julia swiftly rushed into the room to try to stop a Team Meteor member. Florinia: As predicted. Sirius: So what is your answer Florinia? Fern: Ahh! I will admit that this battle was quite difficult despite having a Gym Leader as a partner. But despite the toughness, me and Florinia were able to come out victorious. Fern and Blake were obviously pissed off losing against the pair of us. But this also left our Pokemon quite tired. If we had to do another battle, we would surely be defeated. Florinia: Regret is unnecessary. Contrarwise, your defeat is a marked success. Do consider what procedural mistakes you have committed and remedy them immediately. Blake: Jeez. I could also feel my stomach feeling really weird. Wehttam must have been severely angry at Fern for making Florinia feeling like that. As Fern was leaving the building, he told Solaris and Sirius that he didn’t have a sister anymore and to do what they wanted to her. Solaris: Well… You heard the boy Sirius. Remove her. Matthew: Wait. What?! Sirius: Seviper, Poison Fang! Before I could do anything, out popped Sirius’ Seviper and it launched its attack onto Florinia. She staggered backwards towards the wall and dropped down onto the floor, sitting, knocked out. I couldn’t believe what happened. Matthew: Florinia! No! Solairs: I will take care of Matthew now! Tyranitar! Superpower! Tyranitar popped out of its PokeBall. I turned around looking at the monstrous beast. I knew I wouldn’t be able to dodge the attack in time. So I tried to defend myself as best I could. The Tyranitar clenched its fist and punched me right in the gut. Instantly, I could feel my ribs being cracked by the force of this punch. Now I knew how Amaria felt when this was done to her. I flew backwards towards the wall, smashed my head up against the wall and fell towards the ground, almost unconscious. Solaris: Hmph. Still alive. This 1 is persistent. Julia: Gah! Out of nowhere, Julia was able to bust out of the room that Blake trapped her in. She was face to face with Blake. With a swift push, he was sent over the railing and onto the floor below. I was too hurt and disoriented to hear what he was saying but I was sure that it was all cursing. She looked over to me and Florinia’s fallen bodies and let out a terrifying scream. She ran over to us to make sure we were ok. Julia: Flornia! Matthew! No… You did this! Solaris: Well of course I did. We will eliminate everyone who threatens Team Meteors goal. Julia: I… I won’t let you do that! Solaris: Well what do you plan on doing? You are all by yourself and we outnumber you. Julia looked at her challenge and then back to us. She knew she wouldn’t be able to defeat them but she didn’t want us hurt anymore. Back outside, Taka was watching everything that had just went down. Luckily, besides Sirius, no Team Meteor Grunts were coming through the front entrance of the place. But Taka felt something. It wasn’t fear. It wasn’t sadness. It was rage. It was anger. His father had horribly hurt his only friend that he was able to make. He finally made his decision. He turned towards Stantler. Taka: Listen Rudie, you stay here and keep guard just in case any Team Meteor Grunts try to go through the front door. I don’t think there will be but just keep an eye out alright. Stantler: -nods its head understanding Taka- Taka: I’m going in there to confront my dad… It needs to be done! Taka walked up to the door and pushed it open. All of Team Meteor turned around and watched as Taka ran up the side of the wall and ran in front of his father. Solaris looked annoyed at his son being there. Solaris: Taka… I see you’ve failed to detain Matthew back in the Water Treatment Center. You are a disgrace. Go to the helicopter and wait there. You will receive your punishment when we get back to our new base. Taka:… No. I’m not taking orders from you anymore father. Solaris: Excuse me? What did you just say? Taka: I said I’m not taking orders from you anymore! Solaris: What is this? How dare you defy orders from me! Obey my commands or- Taka: No! I’m not apart of Team Meteor anymore! Solaris staggered back a bit but then he regained his composure. He seemed surprised but not all the way surprised. He walked up closer to his son. Solaris: So… It’s finally happened. You have not only betrayed Team Meteor but your own father. You are a useless, pathetic excuse for a son. Taka: No. Being apart of Team Meteor… I never liked it. It wasn’t me. I hated doing what you ordered us to do. It wasn’t right. Still not right. But thanks to Matthew… I realized that I needed to get away. I didn’t even know if I was gonna fight against you or not but… you’ve made that very clear for me. You have given me my answer. You are now my enemy. Solaris: Interesting. So my son betrays us and decides to join the helpless citizens of Reborn. I can’t believe you are related to me. You are a disappointment. Taka: Maybe in your eyes but for the 1st time in my life, I made a choice for myself and… and I feel happy about it. I actually feel happy. I’m gonna make sure that Team Meteor fails in their goal! Solaris: I see that you are serious about this. And you stand directly in front of that person. Matthew. It seems he actually was able to turn 1 of our own against us. Taka: He convinced me that there’s better things to do than take orders from you and to be afraid of you. No longer am I afraid of you father! Solaris: I see… I have a proposal for you. The battle then started. The 2 seemed fairly even in strength. 1 didn’t seem to have overpowered the other. It was a hard fought battle and close but Taka was able to defeat his father in the battle. Taka seemed surprised that he was able to defeat his father but he did it. Solaris returned back his last Pokemon. He was obviously upset at the outcome of the battle. Solaris: How could… Gah! You and that Chatot of yours infuriates me! Defeating my Garchomp… Ridiculous! Taka: Nothing ridiculous about it. I’m just a better trainer than you. Solaris: Why you-! Taka: Now… Leave. Solaris: You honestly expect us to leave?! Team Meteor Grunt: -walks into the house and up to Solaris- Sir! The helicopter has been destroyed! Solaris: It what?! Julia: Onto victory we will zoom cus I made that thing go boom, boom, boom! Taka: Nice job Julia. Titania exited Amaria’s room. She saw Florinia’s and my unconscious bodies. She then looked over to Taka and was somewhat surprised to see him taking a stand against his father. Titania: Well this is a surprising twist. I guess you’re not all that pathetic after all Taka. Taka: Heh. Thanks. Titania: Wanna smash some skulls together? Taka: Yea. I think that’s a good idea. Solaris: Damnit!… Sirius. Sirius: Yes sir. The water poured out into the living room. Sirius, Solaris and some other Team Meteor Grunts swam out of the now living room pool. Solaris was infuriated and embarrassed at what had happened. Team Meteor was unable to get their hands on the bracelets and failed their mission. Solaris: I hesitate to involve Lin, but I do not see another option. Taka: -under his breath- Lin? No… No. Not her. Solaris: Team Meteor will retreat… for today. Solaris, Sirius and the rest of Team Meteor exited the house. We had won for the time being. When they all left, everyone gave their attention towards me and Florinia who were still unconscious from the direct attacks. Julia: Are they gonna be ok? Titania: Well I think Matt will be fine. If anything, he’s probably gonna be horribly sore for a long time but he’ll eventually heal. Florinia on the other hand… well she has a history of being more greatly affected by things than she needs to. Julia: Would you stop it already!? Titania: As soon as she does. Julia: In case you didn’t notice, it’s NORMAL for people to be hurt when their friend blows up on them! She trusted you and you betrayed her! Titania: Yea? Seems to be a recurring theme lately. Taka: It seems like it. Amaria: I-I’m tired… Hey… I think I need some more sleep… Is that ok? When Matt wakes up, can you tell him I’m sorry? I’m just really… tired and confused… I’ll be up in a bit. -goes back into her room- Florinia: I must depart as well. Julia: Why?! Oh no! Don’t tell me you have retrogravy amnesty too! Taka: Good try Julia but not exactly right. Florinia: I will be attending to Calcenon City. I understand Team Meteor has established operations in Labradorra City. I hypothesize I will be most likely to encounter Fern there. Taka: I saw that little interaction with that guy. The 1 that almost looks like you right? Why try to save him? Florinia: He requires recorrection. Farewell. Florinia then exited the house. Julia and Taka looked down at my body just lying on the floor. Although I was unconscious, I could still feel the pain in my stomach. Some of my ribs were definitely cracked. Julia then spoke up. Julia: Hey Taka. Could you do me a favor? Taka: I guess so. Julia: Could you go check on Titania? I’m worried about her. Taka: Yea. Sure. Taka went into the room and Titania went into but when he got inside, he could see no 1 in there. With a busted open window, he guessed that she might have went outside through that. So he climbed out the window and he was right. Titania was outside leaned up against a rock face 1st. Taka slowly approached her. Taka: Hey… You- Titania: I am SO fucking tired of this! You know, it’s 1 thing that she found out about my facade and tried to off herself. But I was actually glad to have that shackle lifted off of me. I guess it’s not so bad Matt read my diary after all. But now everything… Everything we just went through has been completely voided by her losing her memory. And once again, I’m stuck. Taka: I’m… I’m sorry. I don’t know what to say… Titania started to beat up on the rock. Taka just stood there watching her. He didn’t know what would happen if he tried to stop her. She’d probably pummel him to death or something. Taka: Are you gonna be ok Titania? Titania: I don’t know man. I can’t keep living this lie, but I’m not about to let her kill herself twice. Taka: What are you gonna do? Titania: I’ll figure something out. In the meantime, I’m leaving. I’m taking the bracelets as far away from here as I can. Taka: What? But then Team Meteor will be after you. Titania: I know. If they want these so bad, they’ll have to come and get them. And believe me, they’ll regret it if they try. Taka: Heh. I almost regretted coming here with you. Almost. Titania: Heh… You’re alright Taka. Keep fighting against Team Meteor. You got this. Taka: Thanks Titania. Titania: Right. Time to go. Skarmory, let’s fly! Skarmory popped out of the PokeBall. Titania hopped onto the metal bird and took off flying. Taka watched as she disappeared into the sky. When he couldn’t see her anymore, he went back inside and informed Julia of what happened. Julia: So she took off huh? Taka: Yea. I guess she doesn’t want Amaria to be in anymore trouble. Julia: Well knowing her, she probably took the bracelets to her Gym in the desert. Taka: Her Gym’s in the desert? Julia: Yep! It’s a bizarre place but it’s fun too! Taka: Well, good thing I know how to get there then, but… probably gonna wait til Matt wakes up. Which might be a while. I think I’ll take him back to the Agate Circus. Julia: Why? Taka: I just feel like it’d be better for us. It’s kind of awkward to be here right now. Julia: I guess so. I’m gonna stay here to make sure Amaria is alright. Taka: That’s probably a good idea. Julia: Thanks… You know, I worry about all of them… But that’s why I gotta keep my spirits high! OTS, we’ll win the fight! Everything will be all right! Taka proceeded to heave my body over his shoulder and carry me back over to Stantler outside. Taka put my unconscious body onto it and carried me back to the tent where I rested for the next couple of days.
