idk if you read all the way through. i finished up to the latest ep. i beat titania and hardy already. i think they're on this page. i will come back once the final ep comes out though.

IVs are determined when the pokemon is hatched or caught. see those numbers? the ones beside 0 (assumign no EVs yet) those are IVs. by now its too late to change those though you can breed once you get back to the city. EVs are gained by fighting pokemon. but you also need to level up and increase stats to see the results of the EV training. getting the full 252 will increase stat by a good margin initially. but will still require levelling to see the full effect.

if blaziken isnt cutting it outright, hawlucha is an option on route 2. emolga should comfortably fry 3/6 of Blake's team. an ice type could help immensely with Fern and can take a good chunk off solaris and the orderly. if you have a Dawn Stone froslass works wonderfully if not then i think you can get spheal/sealeo in the mountain so walrein can be an asset. honestly between Mamoswine, froslass/walrein and blaziken/hawlucha you should have everything covered

if the fairy gym has been completed, i do believe your next objective is the desert, should be able to get a train from the newly refurbished station out to there. To Summarise recent events: along with Titania you recovered amaria, you held off team meteor and amaria apparently lost her memory. titania retreated to her desert stronghold and the player returned to the circus defeating ciel for your 13th badge and gaining the ability to fly back to find a completely refurbished and rebuilt city thanks to Adrienn and then you found her some workers to help with the refurbishment further before facing her for your 14th gym badge i think that's right anyway

I agree with basically everything that's been said. i plan to do one massive monotyped run once i finish E19 for the first time. and this time i'll be exploring everywhere, talking to everyone and doing everything i can to experience the full story. what i know about amaria and titana stems from the ingame dialogue and tania's diary, that's it. and from it i can see Amaria is at fault for doing nothing about her obvious depression issues and tania is truly trying her best. on the flipside its a touchy subject to bring up and being as blunt as that may come off as offensive to people who have serious experience with depression IRL. speaking from experience as the Tania of a duo (my housemate, basically my brother now. has personality disorder and suffers bouts of insomnia depression etc) sometimes it can be difficult to stand strong as the pillar of hope the other person needs, but if you can stay there through the thick and thin, even if you dont do much besides be a shoulder to cry on. its enough to help. Psychiatrists can only do so much, sometimes the best help for depression is just good friends and people to depend on. Tania has the misfortune of being the only pillar holding up amaria's crumbling psyche. but if she could properly make friends with the other leaders like Julia, Shelly and Hardy. even some of the rivals like Cain and Heather. she could improve and lessen the burden on tania, might make tania some new friends and feel a bit happier herself. i am curious to know what, if anything. will be done with this duo in the endgame, or if their arc was the finale for them. i hope not since "Congrats everything is back to how it used to be, god fking dammit" from Tania followed by "I'm OK with living a lie"/"i'm even more depressed than i was before" from Amaria is a sour note to end on.

i speak from experience when i say Ice is fun. but the earlygame is a nightmare. iirc the "Password" stuff coming in the final ep mitigates the RNG of gift eggs and whatnot to restrict it to your chosen type. and you get early rock + ice pokes anyway. if you want to try it out as it is now though be my guest. just remember you'll only have 2 pokemon for Florina (1 if you decide not to take an ice starter) the main takeaways from my run i got were, 1. Rotom-F is fantastic in doubles especially on factory and water surface fields 2. Mirror Coat earlygame is incredible and 3. sometimes the most unexpected pokemon are the ones that end up being your best friend. isnt that right doublescoop

i could at least potentially see gen 8 changes to older pokemon (if any. do remember some pokes got new abilities and even in the case of pellipper a slight stat boost in gen 7) and maybe MAYBE at a stretch new items. but that one is a big maybe. probably not even.

i mean god can be incompetent, when a Vanilluxe with Mirror Coat can one shot it something is badly wrong.

here's a very useful tip. Fields can be stupidly annoying. learning to abuse them yourself, or eliminate them entirely can be a godsend wether that means finding the appropriate field read-out or looking it up on the wiki. as an example you already passed...Earthquake or Bulldoze shatters her Ice Mirror field, doing a ton of damage to both mons on the field and turning the field to a neutral arena.

Alternatively: Blizzard. i believe you can catch Piloswine that come packing it just outside of Calcenon. it eliminates the superheated field (as long as Typhlosion dosent immediately use Eruption. might want fake out or a really fast rock or ground type move for that)
