Also it seems trainers with signiture types like Fern and Cain are using pokemons from other types much earlier in the story(i could be misremembering previous versions though)

Am glad it's a short and sweet intro, pretty cool, other fangames that have 10-15 min intro of back story which i probablly won't care about until i atleast played a few hours kinda annoy me.

i think either a scrafty or an escavalier could do wonders for your team (escavalier in particular eats the 8th and 9th gym)

if you can get blaziken or venusaur through wonder trade early on, they'll get you through a lot of tough fights in the game, if you can get a pokemon that can set up the sun then most encounters will be sweepable by one or the other(story of my last playthrough) and venusaur can take care of most of the "super" pokemon that serve as bosses with sleep powder or leech seed if they can't one shot him. so i guess try to get those too(you can trade yourself one) while covering their weaknesses with other pokemon until you canf inish up your team.

Beatric will probablly be useless against titania, on the other hand scrafty woul probablly be your strongest mon against her, so in that sense i feel that you should keep at least for here fight, and as someone said you can have more than 6 members and rotate them, just look at my team.

I think i'll go for Muk as i don't have a good dark mon yet , and maybe the fire/dragon thingy since as a follower of the bulba cult i'll never even think about using the heritical lizard.

I haven't played S&M so i don't know much about gen7 pokemon, and was wondering what additions should i hunt for when episode 17 comes in. you can see my team in my signiture but i'll give more details now: I prefer to play my style and to my strengths than adapat completly to each gym leader, and the core of that style are Venusaur, Ninetail and Blaziken, vensuaur has a class sun set with growth sleep powder synth petal dance(the extra damage over sun beam makes a differane in reborn honestly) while waiting for sludge bomb TM, Ninetails with toxic and fire/grass/psy coverage and blaziken is a classic sweeper. Dusknoir brings bulk as well as will-o-wisp and some other utility if i need to while the other 5 mons i just use depending on my mood and what am expecting to play against. am also raising a prankster kleflky. so what upcoming mons would make a good addition to my team?

this got me wondering if there is a second electirize(besides the one you trade fo elekid i mean) as i don't need a magmortar but could use a an electivire.
