The EV max is 252 for each stats one pokemon can only have 508 EV (iirc) For Starter, choose what you like, but if you want to breeze the game, Speed Boost Torchic is some pokemon you might want, Froakie might be a good choice (cuz Protean) but Froakie is lacking good level up move

These probably my team of six Greninja, the fragile speedster attack: Night Slash, Water Shuriken, Double Team, Hydro Pump Eevee, the one with potential (before I knew about Insurgence existance, I made a normal type Eeveelution with protean as his ability, XD Insurgence made my dream come true in a different way with Mega Eevee) attack: Dig, Iron Tail, Bite, Quick attack Noivern, my signature pokemon that would serve as my fastest pokemon and transportation attack: Boomburst, Air Slash, Dragon Pulse, Dragon Claw Gardevoir, my main powerhouse of the team, can mega evolve attack: Psychic, Psyshock, Hyper Voice, Moonblast Leavanny, the team's blade and brawler attack: Sword Dance, Leaf Blade, X-Scissor, Poison Jab/Shadow Claw Arcanine, the other brawler attack: Flame wheel, Flamethrower, Extreme Speed, Crunch XD welp it's similar to my current reborn team (minus Krookodile and Eevee evolved into Jolteon)

welp ,my proudest moment would be raising a freaking Noibat from level 8 to 48 raising a Growlithe until she learn Flare Blitz which is at level 45 XD so my team was very weak back before those two evolve the other four? Greninja doesn't learn it's best move early on so he got a bit of a fall back I failed to bring out Ampharos full power... Leavanny somehow manage to become my strongest pokemon despite his weaknesses (he later even sacrifice himself trolling Ciel's Talonflame) Meowstic (F) this is why soft resetting is important, people. yeah, I know but it seems that nobody in the Reborn knows that Lin is the leader of Team Meteor (but I could be wrong), even if someone manage to tell everyone that he's the leader, no one would believe them. Well probably until Lin herself reveal that she's the leader of Team Meteor around the time we have defeated the elite 4 and then boom the most dramatic battle begin! EDIT: welp most of the people does't know about Lin being the leader of Team Meteor Fern? lolno but it'll be hillarious and satisfying to beat the hell out of him when he just become a champion for 5 minutes. being humiliated like that would probably made him a bit nicer to the protagonist...
