    "Oh. That isn't good." Edmond watched with a small sigh as the suit slowly died around him. As soon as the last light disappeared, he went through the cycle to reboot it, hopefully preventing it form being so fragile to shocks. The smoke grenade had been a surprise, and it seemed that the afrom man likely had more, so Edmond aimed and fired at him once more. Weld on Samuel L Jackson. (2d6 + 10) and adds 3d6+10 to next instance of damage against him. Also, check where the piece of skin is in relation to Edmond

    "Zeta? Why don't you come on over here, and we'll get some ice cream for you?" Shelly waited for Zeta and Kai to arrive, and assuming they do so, looks up at the menu. It would probably be best for someone to read out the flavors for Zeta and maybe give a small description...What flavors are listed on the menu?

    "So much for diplomacy." With a single unerring motion, Edmond brought his rifle to bear on the man with the afro, and, boosted by the suit, simultaneously launched himself backwards towards the laboratory cabinets. He huddled down behind one, and opened fire, each time shooting only when the man's afro began to stick out. None of the adversaries seemed nearly as powerful as Marx had felt, but the strength inherent in numbers could not be ignored. Halley seems to know them. Possibly a previous battle...The man in the power armor is still a wild card. I suppose the real test is going to be whether he starts shooting at us. So, His thoughts were interrupted by a voice. It was impossible to tell anything about the speaker, and as soon as it had finished speaking, Edmond could remember nothing about the sound. Only the message remained. Allies? Not here, I suppose, else they would be fighting. And I don't see why an enemy would send this message unless it was a distraction... "Computer, make note of these, and remind me after the battle. We need meteoric iron, LSD, though I'm hesitant about it, a demon--hmm, got that already--gasoline or fuel, technology which is easy, and certain edibles. Hmm. It's rather expansive." Based on the list, Edmond drew the conclusion that his mystery allies would probably be decently interested in almost anything he could find. He glanced around, looking for the piece of self regenerating skin he had seen. Of course, after spotting it, he quickly turned his attentions back to the battle, and fired once more at the afro man's head. "Do you need some help with an exit? Or would you prefer not to be associated with us? That would be understandable..." Edmond addressed the other man in power armor. Weld on Samuel L Jackson.     Shelly, decently invigorated, was rather surprised at Radovan's sudden act of seeming kindness. Was it a manipulative ploy? But what was there to possibly be gained from it... "Sure. Ice cream is always good. Zeta, you've probably never had it before, but ice cream is a yummy frozen treat, and I think you'll like it." Shelly did however, stand back a moment, to let Zeta absorb some of the new sites surrounding her. This would be overwhelming to anyone.

    "We know you're here. You can't believe that you're still undetected." Edmond kept his gun in a relaxed grip. "It might be best if you simply revealed yourself, since we all seem to have the goal of escaping from this place..." It seemed rather unlikely though that this person would cooperate. Another battle is imminent, I suppose...Hmm, I forgot to distribute the weapons... Speaking over his myriad of comms systems, so as not to be audible to the invisible man, he said, "I suppose it's probably obvious, but i have a few rather decent weapons on my person that I can't use at the moment, including some form of magic crossbow, a demon possessed shotgun, and a combination gun with multiple functions."

    Edmond turned the unusual spectacles over in his armored fingers, attempting to determine whether any magical energy or interesting features were concealed within the glasses. There's got to be some reason why they weren't destroyed... Knowing that they had little time remaining, Edmond grabbed some of the robotics parts, avoiding the regenerating skin. He was rummaging through the parts when he heard the muttering. It was not the sound of a teammate. Edmond's fingers slowly tightened around handle of his gun, and he turned towards the voice. "Is there anything we might help with?"

    "Well, that was...unusual." After ascertaining that the strange man was well and truly gone, Edmond stepped over the the glasses, and picked them up off the floor. Odd, since everything else was destroyed... He inspected them for a moment, then moved on, and searched through the assorted parts, papers, and general contents of the room, looking for items that might be of interest to himself, or to the Councilor. "So, I guess we shoot the book? Finish the job and get out?" Loot the glasses, and check the room for interesting parts. Also, check the phone message.

    @StormLord I think that the flaw for your secondary should probably scale, because it stops being a very big flaw at later levels. (Also, can there be turns where he is not attacked at all? Or does he have to be hit on two consecutive rounds?) One thing I'm not certain about is Suffer, since it's a passive that actually does two things, creating an auto attack, and increasing dodge chance. It might need to be separate passives? idk Could teleport slicer be described as "Make a basic attack at 2x power, either split between people, or on one target"? (And next level would be 2.5x) Warp is basically an autokill with a check on things with a body or soul? I do like the idea of it having more of a chance of killing if the enemy has low HP... (Possibly a bit of kill stealing ) Soul mending's levels seem rather odd? Because by adding another target, you effectively double the healing, but all the other levels only add an extra .25xSYN...just seems a little odd.

    Shelly, after she had deposited her burden of unconscious employee, sat down in her seat again. "Oh...Here, I'll help with that." It seemed unlikely that Zeta would have any knowledge about how to buckle up, so Shelly leaned over to assist. When she was done, she buckled herself, and leaned back, anxious to leave.

    Shelly had jumped up when it became apparent that something bad was occurring. "Both unconscious? From the Sableye?" She murmured, almost to herself. Why were so many things going wrong?? Shelly lifted up the employee when Radovan requested assistance. "I don't think I'm likely to be much help, but..." She strove to carry her portion of the weight, though it might have been more akin to lessening the friction and sliding the man across the ground. "Where are we taking him?"

    "...Oh?" Shelly stifled a small yawn. "Some of the Sableye got on the drill. One was in the toilet, so they flushed it out, and I think they think the other is in the cockpit?" She gestured vaguely towards where Taylor and Frederick were conversing. "I don't know what they're gonna do, but I don't think they've done anything that could hurt the Sableye." Shelly added this last part for Zeta's benefit as she entered. Oh...speaking of Zeta... "Zeta, we're going to be traveling to another nexus. I suppose...each nexus is pretty much it's own world, and in a little while, we'll be leaving. When the drill leaves, it'll be very bumpy, but don't worry too much. It'll be over very quickly."

    Edmond was utterly bemused by the...man they were fighting. Hmm. Visrii was the only one impeded...I suppose he's still recovering from his ordeal? Edmond uses weld: basic attack 2d6+ INT and adds 3d6+INT to next strike against Marx. Int is currently 15.

    Shelly wandered onto the drill, getting ready for their departure, whenever that may be. She stuck her A-comm in the docking port, and sat down, watching the interaction between Taylor and Gina. Simply over the past few hours, Shelly had developed a general dislike for the woman, based on her blatant favoritism and fanaticism. It would be fun to watch Taylor attempt to manipulate her. If it didn't work of course, Shelly would help deal with the ghost type pokemon in the toilet.

    Edmond did not recognize the comedic genius whose presence he was in, and was simply confused by the man's appearance. But it was now a battle. Edmond powered up the suit, to launch an attack. Edmond uses gambit perk to sacrifice 25% MHP to increase INT by 5 for two rounds (INT is now 15). Then use weld which is basic attack 2d6+ INT and adds 3d6+INT to next strike against Marx.

    Edmond shuddered, horrified by the scenes of terror portrayed on the screens. But, when they dimmed, and disappeared, he drew himself up and stepped forward. "Brace yourselves." Ready to jump back at a moments notice, Edmond gently tugged at the doors. (If that doesn't work, push them)

    Liliya-The Suites After helping Sam, Liliya had wandered about the castle until the time to leave had arrived. Almost everything was in disrepair, but she had chosen the area that she deemed had been nicest at some point. There was nothing terribly nice in any of the rooms now, but that didn't bother her much. She entered a room, intent on checking for valuables, then getting some shut-eye.

    As the way seemed clear for now, and no problems had been encountered, Edmond continued down the shaft as far as possible, assuming that his comrades joined him in the descent.

    "Are you alright, Halley?" Edmond expressed only a small amount of concern, since it seemed unlikely that the arrow would have harmed the android. Edmond waited a moment for the rest of the group to descend through the hole, and spoke again once they had arrived. "This should be pretty simple. We'll cut through the elevator top and bottom with the axe, and then anyone who is unable to fly should either use a rope or pair up with someone who can carry them. Would you do the honors once more of assisting out entrance?" Edmond pulled out the rope which he had bought at the stuffer shack, and after a moment's indecision, handed it to Halley. Visrii probably didn't need it, right? There had been times when he seemed to have a tendency to float. Edmond could carry The Bullet, Lexiel could get Izumi, and Halley could use the rope Edmond waits for others to arrive. Once Lexiel cuts a hole, he will pair up with someone, probably The Bullet, and help them down. >>>>>>Let S.C.I.E.N.C.E Handle it

    "Thanks, Lexiel." Edmond, after seeing that none of the marbles he threw down had been melted or disintegrated, leapt down into the hole. He activated the boosters a second before he hit the floor, slowing his descent enough to prevent injury. "Be careful Halley. I would prefer that you don't go too far ahead, and don't round any corners before checking them in some manner. It would be wise to keep our presence on this floor concealed for a little..."

    "Halley cut a deal with someone named Deus, and--I believe--allowed him to access the building's systems, through which he is planning to release some form of dangerous gas. Alright. Visrii, Halley,...bullet, you three, go pick up gas masks from Izumi, and bring an extra for me, though I don't know if I'll need one with this suit. I'll stand guard while Lexiel cuts through the floor." Edmond stood, rifle ready to fire at anyone who might appear down the hall. Needless to say, he was facing the direction they had come from, the direction of the crater.

    Shelly put little to no thought into her actions. She was both puzzled and disturbed by the day's events, but there seemed to be no one who could satisfactorily answer her questions. She had gotten some superficial answers, and would likely get more if she were to inquire on her A-comm. in fact, she could likely piece together some information from vague answers, but at present, she was frazzled an exhausted. She simply sstood a few feet behind Kai, listening to the budding conversation. She did mention, at a point where she would not be interrupting, that they could probably go to the drill now, but that there was no hurry.

    Edmond held up the phone to Halley, inviting her to look at what she had wrought. "Alright. The buildings going to be gassed, quite soon. It might be a turn of good fortune actually, since the threat is public, and should ensure that innocents leave the building. Izumi!" Edmond raised his voice so that she might hear off down the hall. "There's gas masks in the closet behind that door! We're going to need them." Edmond waved his hand toward the door, signaling that they were in a hurry and should make their way over. "Because this door likely leads to nothing but a small closet, I suggest that we take the method of cutting through the floor, and abandon our attempts to get through the laser grid. Other suggestions would, however, be appreciated. Visrii? May I have my mirror back?" >>>>>>Play Eye of the Tiger while you give it a training montage

    Edmond stared, slightly astonished. "Can you...tell us the specifics of this deal that you cut? Anyway, there we go." He had placed his short message into what seemed the most active board discussing the events: "Agent says: 'I fulfilled my end of the promise, and he should do so too." Agent asks that if this is not possible, please speed our way by disabling security measures. I would be surprised if someone like you was unable to do that, and I believe that if you can fulfill this request, we may be able to make a beneficial exchange of knowledge."

    "I have a small one. Here, make sure to return it when you're done." Edmond handed over the small, 2x2" mirror. "I caution you to not try the hall until we have no other options though. Izumi has found a door that doesn't appear trapped to her knowledge of magic. Another alternative is to cut through the floor in the same manner that you did previously, before the comets. A final option would be if we can cut a deal with Deus, who might deactivate the system entirely for us. You can try something if you have a reasonable idea, just make certain to keep those in mind." "So Halley, is there anything that only you would know from the meeting, or in general with which we could get his attention?"
