  1. Welcome to Reborn Scott! Radomus' puzzles can be tricky if you're not familiar with chess. I do remember the third room being the hardest to clear in my opinion, but I can't really help you there because I haven't done that puzzle in ages. I'm sure someone will be able to help though! Edit: I'm not sure but isn't the third room the one where you can move a pawn to the bottom row, turning it into whatever you want? If that's the case it could help with your Knight problem.
  2. Hay! Hay is for horses tho. Welcome to Reborn!

  4. The art is amazing and the first one looks best in my opinion. That being said, all these covers are awesome but reaaaally dark. Granted, Reborn is a grim game compared to canon Pokémon, but still. These covers reflect the mood of, let's say, barely a third of the current game. And that Absol looks like it wants to murder you.
  5. You're just having a case of severe bad luck. Keep trying and don't lose hope.
  6. Just realized it's been 7 or 8 months since I last played Reborn. Damn, time flies. My hype level was rather low until now, but I'm starting to be eager for E16's release.

Thanks for the suggestion, but I already tried Rejuv aaand... it just didn't work well with me. It's a shame because I can see all the effort the dev put into the game, but I just wasn't hooked. Dunno why.

  7. https://www.reddit.com/r/PokemonReborn/comments/58yui3/with_episode_16_coming_up_anybody_have_a_summary/d94pbrf/ Saw this posted on a similar thread recently. Thought it was gold, so there ya go
  8. A positive "tfw" moment on the thread? Now this is something you don't see everyday.
  9. Several tiles in this room (the "bright version" at least) are glitchy. You can walk on rocks, past ledges, things like that. I initially thought it was intentional and had an effect on the Sableye event, but it doesn't seem to be the case.
  10. Completely agree with you. The only reason I didn't struggle too much against Noel was because of my heavily Poison-oriented team that made it easy to turn the field against him. Otherwise he is a very well-rounded opponent with 1 or 2 fearsome mons *cough PORYGON Z cough*. Serra on the other hand is a complete pushover if you have anything whose name starts with Magne and ends with Ton. Disappointing leader. In the end difficulty really depends on your team. That's why Reborn is so good. It forces you to adopt a strategic view when building your team and not just power through everything with OP sweepers.
  11. Metang. "It floats midair using magnetism. Its body is so tough, even a crash with a jet plane won't leave a scratch." According to this dex entry, this pokémon is practically immune to physical damage. It cannot be hurt. It cannot feel pain. You'd have to melt it in order to destroy it. Now imagine a Metang going after you for whatever reason. You're basically in John Connor's situation, except you don't have a T800 to protect you from T1000.
  12. Learn how to cheese seemingly unbeatable foes with Destiny Bond or Perish Song, like Combat Medic said. But most importantly, Git Gud. And don't forget to have fun!
  13. Chair means flesh in French tho. The word you'd want to use is cher, which means dear. Oh and happy birthday, birthday person!
  14. You can only get Fire, Water, Leaf, Thunder, Moon and Sun via mining. Indeed the lack of Dusk stone in this game is... [low pitched voice] disturbing. The most tedious thing I had to do was probably farming a rock for an Odd Keystone. All that work to get a mon I wasn't gonna use anyway but hey, you gotta make the most out of the game you're given.
  15. It should be just a matter of weeks before the community release. Be patient. E16 has been in dev for over a year so the wait is comparatively almost over.
  16. tfw you don't go to the uni on tuesday because it's an off day, then don't go on wednesday because there's only an optional course you didn't take, then don't go on thursday because your course is cancelled, then spend the entire week at home being an unproductive turd

  17. Lead with Fraxure and Dragonair and use Dragonair to Thunder Wave whatever is using Dazzling Gleam. Meanwhile use Dragon Dance with Fraxure and pray for it to survive that first round. If it does, thanks to the paralysis you just inflicted for instance, proceed to sweep everything with Dragon Claw while you use Dragonair's turns to spam potions. Whenever you have some breathing room, stack a second or third Dragon Dance. When Dragonair dies, replace it with Goomy. Rinse and repeat. Edit: find yourself a 6th team member, whatever it is, just to have some more cannon fodder if needed.
  18. So, a Crisis Core kind of death uh? Except no plot is solved and we don't get to know what happens next. ...nah. I think the devs love their own game too much to do that
  19. Keep in mind than certain weathers in game (namely windy, rainy or thunderstorm) may increase the lag. You can change the date on your computer in order to keep a perpetually nice weather if you want (of course this will affect a number of events, but you can just change it back when needed).
  20. Your ranking is pretty good and well argumented imo. Of course that doesn't mean I agree with everything, but still that's definitely an opinion I can respect. Personally I really don't know what to do with TFA. I feel like it's a decent, generic action-sci-fi movie and a disapponting SW overall. I kinda want to love it like the other movies, but I can't see past its narration flaws, its shameless use of exactly the same scenes as New Hope and terrible character dev. I kinda want to despise it as well, but I can't bring myself to do that because I objectively didn't have a bad time watching it. Sooo... yeah. Revenge of the Sith is one of my faves as well, because it's the only one that made me cry when I first watched it I was 11 pls don't judge me Phantom Menace is hated for a lot of good reasons, but it's the first one I saw in a cinema, it made me love the franchise, and it has its share of memorable moments. So I still love it despite everything. Attack of the Clones felt cheesy and childish, but the later parts were extremely enjoyable. Return of the Jedi felt cheesy and childish, but the later parts were extremely enjoyable (notice a pattern here?). New Hope was good, but like you said, it didn't age well. Let's not forget it's a relatively low-budget, 40 years old movie. The Empire Strikes Back is still my favorite. I do agree about the plot twist being awkwardly thrown into the movie though. Hell, it wasn't even supposed to be there when the scene was filmed. Vader's dialogue was changed in post prod. I couldn't rank them in a specific order, even if I wanted to (which I don't), but I guess I could seperate them between awesome (TESB, ROTS), not as awesome (the rest of them bar TFA), and mediocre (TFA). Still hyped for Rogue One tho.
  21. Nidoqueen/king is a very good option to sponge Aya's attacks and makes an excellent candidate for the Sludge Wave TM Aya gives out. It's very useful against Noel too. You may want to replace Persian with Zangoose, unless you think having a Taunter is more valuable to you than an extra bit of attack. Blaziken, Piloswine, Crobat and Zoroark are all very good though, I don't really see anything that could replace them at this point.
