  1. All right, I think I'm making progress? I right clicked the icon, selected "Get Info," and then checked the box "Open Using Rosetta." Now I'm getting this screen. Do you know where I'd even find Data/Scripts.rxdata? It's not in my Rejuvenation folder; should it be?
  2. So wait...I haven't been following this for a while. Will this work on a mac without wine? I believe Jan said something about that a week or two ago, but I may be misremembering.
  3. Geara is the son of the couple who lived next to Gregorian Lake, and then got stuck in the Voidal Chasm. After getting out of there, the father mentions having a son while in the chasm, and naming him after the lake. So that was definitely Gregory, or Geara as he's now known. I'm pretty sure Anju's son is Neved, but I'm not sure if that's been confirmed.
  4. All right, is Calyrex going to be added to the Badlands Arc at all? It seems too perfect not to be.
  5. But even after you protected your friends, Nim didn't try to harm you
  6. She purposely didn't set Nim against US though. She told Nim that everyone else had betrayed her, but that the player had remained by her side.
  7. Oh yes, that was a part of the theory that I forgot to mention. And Indriad probably viewed all women as children of Nymiera because Nymiera was the first woman. As for Crescent being aligned with Indriad, it would explain many things. On the other hand, why on earth would she be? Why would a former storm chaser who went rogue (probably because she found out something she should have) align herself with a death cult bent on destroying the world as we know it?
  8. Lickilicky: All physical moves now have a chance to paralyze (since it's using them with its tongue)
  9. Luxray: merges Speed with Attack, powers up moves with 60 bp or less.
  10. Yup, the only region-wide government institution is the Pokemon League, it seems
  11. Oh no, I didn't mean that. I meant that, for example, the details you choose to include or not might suggest what might be important later in the story. Or what you emphasize when you describe things etc.
  12. Isn't there a worry that an official storyline summary might spoil the later parts? Like because of how it describes things, and what it decides to include/exclude.
  13. But we know what exposure to the Archetype can do to one's skin and hair.
  14. That's not really a "missing piece" though; it's pretty much implied. I guess Freya and Kieran are far from the only "master manipulators" in the game, but they seem like the only unambiguously evil ones. The puppet masters, Spacea and Tiempa and Crescent could all have done it, but I doubt any of them would want to end the world with Storm-9.
  15. Okay, so for a while I've been suspecting that Freya somehow manipulated Gardevoir into having Anathea killed. But I had no real evidence for that. Now...
  16. That'd be so mean to any players who didn't do the sidequests. Granted, the game's storyline has been mean to them before, but still...
  17. I really want there to be an Underwhere-style sequence later on in the game, where the main character gets trapped in the afterlife for a while and has to find their way out on their own.
  18. I'm honestly hoping that Vitus isn't actually the Man in the origin story, and instead is the son or something. He seemed like a good person when we initially met him in the past, and I kind of doubt we just happened to meet him during the two years he was taking a break from being evil. I'm hoping it ends with us finding out he has a nuanced past, but was never purely evil until Anathea's murder pushed him off the deep end.
  19. Oh my god, COVID is awful--people I've known have gotten it, and they couldn't function at all. Jan, if you're reading this, stop working on Rejuvenation at all until you recover (and maybe give yourself a few weeks to catch up on college stuff). Your health and personal life is far more important than this game.
  20. Edit: adding some space so this isn't viewable from the club page. ---------------------------------------------- ---------------------------------------------- ---------------------------------------------- ---------------------------------------------- ---------------------------------------------- ---------------------------------------------- So as we all know, the evil Melanie is somehow an alternate version of Melia. But that begs many questions. Most obviously, why is Melia good and Melanie evil? Also, why is Melanie completely unfamiliar with Melia's light powers, considering she's in a way more powerful position and would have found out about that by now? Why is Melanie only 7 while Melia would be about 15 without the time travel? And finally, why is Melanie such a genius? She somehow rules the world at age 7, and even outplayed Madame X! Calling her a child prodigy would be putting it lightly. And Melia may be clever at times, but she's no child prodigy. But hang on a second, who else do we know that's a freakish child prodigy? That's right, Maria. And for the record, I think Maria was the entire archetype, and was split into four bodies--making Melia a huge part of her but not all. But I think Melanie is somehow a corrupted version of Maria (and her soul and Melia's are still similar enough that they managed to fuse together). But wait, there's more. How did Maria turn evil, and why is she ruling the post-apocalyptic world? Here's a clue: in the "run away" sequence, she mentioned her father a couple times. The first was when she called on him to send the Yveltal to save her; the second was when she said "Father, I have lost" before being absorbed by Melia. Maria's father, of course, is Indriad. And remember that the bad future is one where Indriad straight-up won, with Storm-9 hitting the entire earth. And I doubt Indriad had simply wanted to destroy the world; he seemed more interested in domination (as evidenced by his actions in Wispy Tower). Maybe he's secretly in control in the bad future? For that matter, I also think the Yveltal Melanie used also belonged to Indriad. Indriad's garb seemed to be modeled after Yveltal, while his counterpart Nymiera probably had Xerneas. Moreover, the diary in Sheridan Wetlands--presumably written by Madame X--references an unnamed man spying on them with an Yveltal, and planning to use it to destroy the world if defeated. That could only have been Indriad; how many other male non-Xen affiliated villains are there? So I believe Madame X's Yveltal came from Indriad, while he still has it in the doomed timeline and is using it to help Melanie. All of this is to say that Indriad seems to have become some kind of god or shadow ruler of the bad future, and is using Melanie as a puppet. A "Marianette", if you will. And speaking of Marianette, why was Indriad making her do all those crazy trials in Chrysalis Mansion? Could he have been training her? Perhaps preparing her to rule the world under him? This also explains why Melanie has no superpowers and was caught off guard by Melia's; Indriad did not awaken them while training her. This was probably because he knew she could use them to overpower him; and even as his puppet ruler she would lose her dependence on him if they awakened. After his trials, Marianette would be able to rule the world with her intelligence, but remain subservient to him. So in summary, my theory is that Indriad's goal with Marianette was always to make her his puppet ruler of the world. Melanie is a successful result of that.
  21. Okay, so why did nobody ask Cella about the Miera Region? As far as the protagonists know (even though I suspect it isn't true), the Miera Region was only evacuated "a few years" before Aevium's own calamity. So wouldn't Cella herself have been from Miera, and wouldn't Erin ask her about it before departing to Blakeory Atheneum?
  22. Also I love how she says "Father, I have lost," just like Madame X does.
