  1. My ID's 249 258 1284. Heard that people are getting 5-stars. Unfortunately, I'm not nearly as lucky.
  2. Is it just me or the Mega download is broken?
  3. "No problem." Halley replied, feeling somewhat glad that the girl wasn't as angry as before - though that was probably the food doing all the work. She had just finished the last of her drumsticks, but she scrapped the idea of leaving. Instead, she rested, staring blankly at the ceiling bulbs that lit the kitchen. She was pleasantly surprised by them still working well. She didn't want to fall asleep yet, as they were bound to hit their destination sooner or later.
  4. "... Ma'am, looking for a moment of solace? Help yourself to the food, if you're feeling hungry." Halley said. She could tell that Hiroki was angry, so she locked the side door for her, before turning back to finish her drumsticks. Hmph, she doesn't look like she's willing to share the same room with me. How inconsiderate, I got here first! I'll just leave the kitchen once I'm done eating.
  5. Having noticed a grumpy Hiroki walking toward her, she took a few steps away from the door, acting like nothing has happened. She leaned against the kitchen wall and ate the drumsticks. Truth to be told, she wanted to blind everyone for a few seconds and stuff the drumsticks in their mouths. Feeling hungry? If it helps relieving the anger... She sat on a chair and started eating the drumsticks again, anticipating Hiroki's entrance.
  6. "What the heck are you people doing, it sounded like a fight here-" Halley rushed back into the ballroom, unlocking the side door in the process. She had a half-eaten drumstick in her hand, reeking of the smell of barbecue sauce. She flinched for a second before realizing the impeding outbreak of a brawl. "..." She quickly went back into the kitchen. The faint sound of her charging her Comet Blaster can be heard. "Whew. There are still some drumsticks left. Let's see... " She took a plate and put three drumsticks on it, before leaning against the door, opening it a bit and carefully watched through the gap of light.
  7. Introducing... the rightful trapper. Mega Palossand Type: Ghost / Ground Ability: Arena Trap Pikachu: Not Included HP: 85 Atk: 75 -> 50 (-25) Def: 110 -> 130 (+20) SpA: 100 -> 150 (+50) SpD: 75 -> 120 (+45) Spe: 35 -> 45 (+10) BST: 480 -> 580 (+100) Finally, Palossand gets the ability that would've been a perfect fit to it. With improved bulk, special attack, and speed that allows it to tie with Mega Ampharos and Alolan Marowak, it can put down many slower threats with incredible ease. On top of that, Shore Up can mend damage received from tanking. This is truly one heck of a waterside phantom, perhaps Ubers-level, which is why the following sample sets will all be built around Ubers. Unfortunately, it still comes with problematic weaknesses. The nature of Arena Trap makes it unable to trap Ghost-types like Mega Gengar and Aegislash, and Flying-types like Rayquaza and Landorus-Incarnate, thus only allowing Palossand to force them away. On top of this, Water-types like Palkia and Kyogre can wash away Palossand, while Palossand can barely deal reasonable damage to them due to their high SpD. Other Pokemon like Mewtwo can rely on coverage to heavily dent Palossand, too. Notable Ubers checks: Kyurem-White, Kyogre (and Primal), Deoxys-Attack (Psycho Boost OHKOes), Arceus-Grass/Ice/Water, Giratina-Origin, Palkia, Shaymin-Sky, Darkrai. How the Palossand ruined Groudon (Ubers Standard Trapper) Other options? Palossand has four other coverage options, Psychic, Giga Drain, Energy Ball and Sludge Bomb. All of these aren't really worth using, except Giga Drain/Energy Ball which may just be slightly more useful in OU, specifically Quagsire and Swampert (Requires Energy Ball). But then again, this isn't saying much. You're better off using HP Ice. Destiny Bond could be an option, but Mega Gengar outclasses Palossand in that area. Toxic can be used to stall more effectively against opposing tanks, in which case Substitute should also be used.
  8. This is too good to not make a gif out of:

  9. "Food for one, alright." She turned to fetch a plate of food from the kitchen. Boiled cabbage leaves were lined up along the edge of the plate, with fried rice filling the center, dressed with ham bits, carp slices, corns, green peppers and rosemary. The smell of the dish wafted through the ballroom gently. She placed the plate on a buffet table in the corner, along with a basket of silverware. Barely anyone's hungry. The food will go cold sooner or later, soooo... She slipped back to the kitchen and locked the door.
  10. Supernova "But you didn't win you stupid traitor. Using Nil to protect you is way worse than cheating." N-Nil?! Cardinal, what the hell did you just do? Suddenly, all the worth in the victory became zero. Truth was, he'd much rather let his reflexes kick in and dodge the hammer himself, given that it was a slightly more predictable attack than before. But, the Tenth God stepped in and prevented that from happening. Am I... being used? Am I sponsored by Nil... to sabotage the tournament?! It was a disgusting feeling. He had a simple goal, to claim the plane of Gluttony, but that determination was used by the others. He walked to Libra's armor frame, and punched it over and over again, until it was all melted and destroyed. The ground beneath it suffered the same fate, making a steam-filled crater in the arena. "WHY?" He shouted, not caring about the audience around him, nor Temperance. He knew that he couldn't talk to Him from here, but he had to let out the steam. If he's sponsoring me, then this means my goal is as good as ruined. What will I be fighting for, then? There's nothing for me, nothing. He quieted down, kneeling on top of Libra's unidentifiable remains, and shut down his mech. The steam formed some clouds over the arena, making it rain slightly. For a moment there, he wanted to quit the tournament altogether. The battles wouldn't be his, but rather, Nil's. It'd be Nil carrying him all the way to the end, until he finally sacrifice himself and die. There wouldn't be joy, there wouldn't be excitement, and there wouldn't be effort. He'd rather stay on the losing streak that started when he was curbstomped by the Revenant, even if it meant that he would get stomped on over and over. But, what would happen if he quit? Another challenger will take his place and die instead. Quitting, meant killing. I've worked so hard to run away from starvation. A selfish, self-sufficient person I am. Do I have the right to let someone else take the role? He shut his eyes, and waited for the teleportation.
  11. Lately I've struggled with Yoshi VS Samus matchup. Samus' projectile game makes it hard for me to approach, even with egg throws. Any tips?
  12. Halley, already tired of waiting, decided to take the serving matters to her own hands, starting with the teammates in the closest room - the ballroom. "Anyone already hungry? The food's ready." She asked the others in the ballroom.
  13. Supernova A bizarre force surrounded Tai as the hammer hit... softly. It was like there was a divine intervention, barring the blow. He took a glimpse at the spot it was about hit. No, it's not protecting me. It's protecting her. If she hit my chest, that'll certainly roast her in an instant. Shortly, everything turned back to normal. His opponent rebounded, thoroughly burned and mostly incapacitated. "Traitor? I'm just a man, nothing more." Tai jetted toward Temperance, bringing greater and greater heat as he approached. The rink quickly melted and evaporated into steam, but his visor still allowed him to see through with ease. The arena felt like a sauna. "Don't take this personally, I just want this to end." He grabbed her hammer away from her, and threw it away. "Sweet dreams." He rested his left hand on top of her, hoping to knock her out completely with heat, that is, if the shield wasn't enough to give her a heatstroke already. Heat Capacity: 60/150 (+10 every turn)
  14. Supernova "The opportunity just presented herself. Thanks, Cardinal. Berate me later if I screw this one up." "Sorry." Tai's eyes flared up. He punched his chest, unleashing a growing barrage of flames to meet Temperance. The shield grew and grew, swallowing the girl within its blazes quickly. His rockets roared once more, as he flew up to meet his opponent with a powerful uppercut. During the whole fight, he realized one thing - The mech itself wasn't built for aerial combat, and by extension, Temperance herself wouldn't be much prepared for it. So far, she had only clumsily tried to pin him down by launching projectiles and throwing herself up the sky, but her options quickly diminished once she was up in the air. She could twirl her hammer to parry some of the flames, but there was no way that she could escape from the radius of the shield, at least, no way that Tai could think of. The slings might shoot more chunks of metal from below, but the turbulence formed by the flames would affect them heavily, slowing them down enough for Tai to outrace them easily. Although expecting his opponent to be heavily burnt and overheated, unable to counterattack properly, he still kept his eyes on the hammer, ready for her move. Heat Capacity: 50/150 (+10 every turn)
  15. "Urgh, fine! You couldn't even be bothered to say 'No' ?" Halley left the roof, frustrated by Theodore's "reaction". Fresh out of ideas, she decided to return to the kitchen, but a sudden earthquake shook the ground. "What is it?" Her senses pointed toward the direction of the barracks. "Must be another smithing accident. They'll manage... they'll manage." She returned to the kitchen, only to find plated food sitting on a small table, with Kenta nowhere to be found. Great, I feel like a ghost now. Why did I even bother... She took the lid off one of the dishes to smell. The aroma enthralled her, surrounding her like a magical wind. She slowly moved closer to the food, only to snap back into reality before she touched it. "Right, right, we have to share these." She pulled out a chair and sat on it, waiting for Kenta to return.
  16. The man in black ignored Halley. "W-Well, okay then." She looked around the castle, but the others all seemed busy. Eventually, she found herself on top of the castle. One man stood out in the group, playing some exotic tune. "You must be Theodore. Kenta wants you to play some songs to him. He's in the kitchen right now, mind helping him out?" She asked.
  17. "Sure. I'll see what I can do." Halley took out her megaphone and left the kitchen. Immediately, she found a man fully in black, strolling through the grand hall. "Hey you, man in black! Do you wanna help out with making dinner?" The megaphone blared at Leon. The volume was turned down quite a bit, but it still pack a force. The sound could still be heard in the other rooms, although considerably weakened in volume.
  18. Supernova If it isn't for the device, I can just pin her down now. Urgh! Tai quickly rocketed away from Temperance's trajectory. The height and speed advantage gave him much leniency on aerial maneuvers. This time, he soared even higher, now at 30 meters up from the ground. If I can just snatch that hammer away from her... He could hear the audience growing more and more tired of this dodging game, but he couldn't do anything about it without getting wrecked. At least, not yet. She plays on emotion, right? She toyed with mine... perhaps I can toy with hers. Tai sprayed a small array of fireballs at Temperance, almost as if he was punishing her failed attempts at reaching him. However, the punishment was about as significant as standing in a corner, and he wasn't really trying to damage his opponent, either.
  19. Halley followed Kenta back to the castle. On their way there, they passed by Kagari and co. "Hey, when you guys are done, be sure to go back to the castle for dinner!" She yelled, before moving on. The door to the kitchen was conveniently in front of the foyer. She put down the groceries for Kenta. "Alright, chef, go for it! They have just about any tool you need on the shelves." ((Halley in USEFUL MODE, she'll gladly help Kenta with the process of cooking, no need for me to post back-to-back))
  20. "Hmm, I've never seen this before." Halley held up the potato-like thing. "I can tell you that I can process it into energy safely, though, which is not saying much." "I'm gonna go with my instincts and say this is edible." She returned the potato to Kenta. "Let's not take too long." She grabbed a jar of oil. "This will do; it's olive oil. As for spices, how about rosemary and pepper?"

  22. Supernova The metal came onto Tai's radar. Cut me some slack already! He quickly turned to face the incoming projectile. It looked like another piece of Libra's armor, but it was barely identifiable as it was punched, molten and hammered. Instinctively, he punched the metal, knocking it away. The chunk of metal didn't fly far before arching down like a dead weight. She's going back to the empty mech, but... she can't possibly be going back into that broken thing, right? She even just torn off a chunk of it... Cardinal said that she could suck the emotion out of me... but there must be some sort of device to do that, right? If she's still doing it even outside her mech, then it must be... On her- No, it could be inside her of all that I know... and that'd make it hard to overheat thanks to the body regulating the temperature. "Hey, are you going back to your mech? I-I think you're two times as cool without it." Honest opinion, he never liked fighting defensive mechs. He even has a Signature Ability dedicated to eradicating such opponents.
  23. "Did you get any cooking oil? We wouldn't want our food to be tasteless, right?" Halley suggested, pointing at the display shelf lined with different jars of oil. The currencies were all own by Kenta, so she spent her time looking at the displayed food. She took a closer look at the potato Kenta was looking at. "If it's displayed here, it must be safe to eat, right?"
