    Supernova vs. Revenant The shockwaves were heavily weakened by the the storms of fire coming out of Supernova.     Before I sink into the decision completely, I should ask this first: Is death in the arena permanent? Or is there some sci-fi respawn system that restores everything upon death?

    Supernova vs. Revenant Somehow, the Revenant repelled Tai's effort and blasted him away. He was struck with fear - the machines in the chest were half-broken. The mech was flung meters away, with the shield system sparkling with embers, completely exposed. "Hah...swordsmen...incredible adversaries. The only way to win...is to raise the stakes." Tai ignored the ongoing recovery of the shield system, and punched through his chest. What was a deep sword cut turned into a gaping tunnel.     Supernova vs. Revenant The lightning-fast shockwaves hit the mech almost instantly, jamming the cannons and the shield system's shield trigger, but the rockets easily recovered from the shockwaves thanks to their circuit's simplicity. "Damn! And I was so close to gathering enough heat..." Tai initiated the recovery of the shield system. "If I stop right now, I would be giving up the offensive...and that's just not gonna happen!" He then warped to the front of the sword demon, going for a rocket-boosted straight punch to the chest.

    Once again, I apologize for my wordings, but I guess I'll deal with the errors I've made so far. The Fire-Shield resists energy-related attacks ("quite well"), and I'm not sure whether electromagnetic shockwaves fall in that category or not. Anyways, that wouldn't matter right now because it's impossible to respond to the lightning-fast shockwaves regardless of Tai's position in the arena. (In theory, if the electromagnetic shockwaves count as energy attacks, the shield system will most likely lose the power to transfer heat to the Fire-Shield, causing the shield to wear off soon)

    Stratos, how fast would the shockwaves travel? Considering the range Tai had (He was circling around the arena), I think his reflexes would be sufficient enough to activate his Fire-Shield before they hit.

    Supernova vs. Revenant "Ah...showing off, huh?" Tai activated his mech's jet engines. The jets let out a loud bang, as if it was a battle cry. "Ready, set, GO!" Tai dashed around the arena, firing blasts of flame from his chest at the sleek swordfighter. The blasts were only aimed roughly at the target, even if they hit, they wouldn't do much damage. His mech was heating up quite quickly... He laughed with confidence, but the helmet hid it all.

    Stratos, if you wanna get the first move, I'll redact my post. From what it looks like, moving first isn't completely better than moving second.

    Tai - Arena, vs. The Revenant Tai walked into the arena, and put up a fighting pose. His face was filled with excitement, however, concealed within his helmet. He hoped that the fight would end quickly, as his opponent was using a SMO mech. He rubbed his fists..."I'm ready."he said.

    (Ask the god a question, Do nothing) Tai, not sure about the formalities, mimicked Ricochet's moves. He stepped forward, bowed, and spoke. "I am the Supernova. It's a great honor to meet you in person, Lord Sleeping Bear." He then stepped back, trying to suppress his excitement. "How satisfying is it to be the god of this plane?" Tai asked when his turn came.
