Welp looks I was wrong pendulum is as of this moment dead. And If you think summoning from the hand will save then I will inform you that almost every pendulum deck was based around getting your pedulum cards in the extra deck as a way of advantage. Well any chance of me buying the pendulum magicians at some point have gone down the drain.

Well, Fenniken is certainly not a bad starter. It's typing makes it an early game menace. Fire and psychic are good against all rivals typing, all doubled gym leaders typing, a lot of early game gym leaders typing. Even Shade makes the pkmn usefull, with doublades and trevenant secondary typing. Chesnaught was quite usefull to be honest in my hardcore run: hammer arm, curse, leech seed and spiky shield made it a very good pkmn to me. Froakie was the most dissapointing, it was quite frail and didn't get a lot of moves making it very lackluster over time. Late game I'm feeling its getting better but I still have my doubts.

Nature adds 10% to the positive stat and detracts 10% from the negative stat. Also Terra's claydoll had 252 spdef evs so for perfectness it wouldn't surprise me if they were.

The problem is that if credits weren't limitted at that point, I would aggree. However the problem is that the credits are limitted at that point and you don't know what stuff is comming up, you might miss that sunny day tm you want to have for your sun team or that leftovers down the line. The potential of these credits are too big too "waste it" on a voltorb.

Would you use credits for a voltorb? Honestly I wouldn't . Especially since you only use it because it is a lightning type against the upcomming flying gym. I know electrode isn't terrible, but is not fantastic either.

Konami forcing you to buy link monsters by nerfing extra deck summons RIP so many decks. It also forces putting the cards in the already tight extra deck. Well the mechanic sounds convoluted, seneth switche could be cool. So for pendulum summoning, they cost spell and trap zones, meh, it could be worse. It's not that pendulum decks could run many spells an traps anyway. Also since techinically pendulum monsters are main deck monsters (no matter their location) I think pendulum summon from the extra deck can still be done without a link monster.

I'm not so sure as far as it seems the desert is going to be quite big. On top of that Ame does have to redo a lot of battles and areas in terms of pkmn distribution with the introduction of gen 7. So it wouldn't surprise me if it would take as long as E16.

So how about some good old fashioned gen 3 facade plays? Just grab the tm from the game corner and wreck evrything with your boosted attack.

Well one thing to look forward to is a fight with Amaria and I wonder if your team can deal with (mega-)swampert. But as my suggestion for a gardevoir seems most fitting to me to give some specially defensive mon. Or if you want to breed it you can use something more trolly like destiny bond/perish song pokemon like mismagius.

Well, funny I do pick my endings after my first run which I do blind. After that I plan my endings of the other 2 runs just to see the "full" game. Ah well for the perfect ending, I kinda saw that comming since you make choices that are not really good or bad. Even though all that, I think that most people are not pursuing a "perfect ending", they are pursuing the "best ending" based on personal feelings/preferences.
