Okay, I'm going to be totally honest here and say... the Microsoft conference was... actually pretty good. It focused on a lot of things that people who watch E3 care about: Video games. Not only that but they showed off a lot of cool games, like Super Lucky's Tale which was adorable and I want that game to be multi-platform, that pirate game which was pretty funny. Also I thought that the bro-Orc in Shadows of War so super endearing and funny (I actually really liked Shadows of Mordor, so I'm a sucker for this game, even though it's not an Xbox exclusive.)
It did have some dumb moments, especially the dick-stroking at the beginning. But, they got the guns and wheels out of the way first, then got to the cool stuff. Dragon Ball Fighter Z being announced (well I already heard about it, so whatever) was pretty dope as I'm a huge DBZ fan. But, again, it's not an exclusive so... yeah? I like how they actually want to have a 3D platformer mascot on their console, which is neat and a good choice on their part AND I like how they didn't talk about Halo, Gears of War, or Call of Duty (the games most people often times associate with Microsoft). That said though... I would not want to buy the 10 year old's gamertag console at... 499, 499... 499 USD. Like... no thanks. It's decent but not 499 USD decent.
Overall... I'd give it a solid 8.5. Had a strong focus on games, but there were some moments at the beginning and end that were dumb and one of the games that said "pre-order" and it was like... a bunch of Cortana's walking around for like 15 seconds and I was just like "why should I pre-order this?"
