Genesis replied to Amethyst's topic in News and Announcements
Oh wow, it has been so long. Literally my favorite pokemon game. I think I lost all my saves, so I will probably need to start over again, but it will be like experiencing for the first time since I can't remember much -
Okay so I have had a mix up morning. Started off with: Papa Roach - F.E.A.R Slipknot - The Devil In I Disturbed - Sound Of Silence And finally Dimitri Vegas and Like Mike vs Ummet Ozcan - The Hum

that sounds deceptively pervy TIL that Sulfur Hexaflouride does the inverse of helium and can make me sound like a Demon

Have you done the team Magma/ Aqua missions? Both Houndoom and Sharpedo can wreck shade. My choise is speed boost Sharpedo. WIll easily OHKO most of his pokemon. Houndoom is a little slower but can OHKO most as well.

Rock types do well in this battle. One strategy is to change the field with an EQ user another is to brute force it. Get some rock coverage and then just set up your team in a good order and you should be able to take him. I would take Taurus out since he offers very little to the team. If you managed to pick up heracross from the woods he would be a great addition. Okay so this guy did a mono fighting in hardcore with only 4 pokemon http://www.pokemonreborn.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=18033&page=2 So it's doable but it isn't easy. In fact it's bloody difficult.. My advice (if you

Anybody got any idea on how old moon stone pokemon would be? Seeing as how Clefairy and igglytuff are being classified as ancient and their link is the moon stone. Other pokemon in this group would be: Munna http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Munna_(Pok%C3%A9mon) This seems to have been featured in ancient pokemon movies? Nidoran male and female http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Nidoqueen_(Pok%C3%A9mon) It mentions having distinct reptillian features. While I can't see Nidoqueen and NidoKing being on the moon they could be directly related maybe? Skitty http://bulbapedia.bulbag

That image shows how everything started and just wow. haha I am trying to make sense of it all. It doesn't seem like I could use it as a timeline though seeing as how some fossil pokemon are classed with pokemon that definitely weren't around the time of fossils. If you have any direction on how I could factor it in I would greatly appreciate it

I guess the question here is does this classify as ancient? According to the literal defintiion it would be everything pre AD 476. I am tempted to say that 3000 years before this would classify it as being ancient. It would also open my options up considerably. But I don't want to open them up so much so that there are almost no restrictions. I havent actually played pokemon XY or seen the movies relating to them. So gen 6 is all completely new to me at this point I need to go through this entire thread and mark off the one's I have missed and update them all in the first post.

some great ideas here, and most have been added to my list of what I can use thanks everyone In my thread this was posted: http://pm1.narvii.com/5743/65635cff20df90a4b86dad269b54927f06e76a67_hq.jpg I am waiting to hear from the poster where this battle takes place, but I would like to ask some help in identifying all the pokemon seen./ So far I have come up with: Solrock Lunatone Aegislash Gyarados Salamence Steelix Rhyperior Abomasnow Weaville magnemite There are a few more, but I cannot make out the forms

Torkoal is an interesting one since it is a fire type. And it could count since it is ancient even if it was involved with ancient civilization. All the others you mentioned have been confirmed as well Yep, these are confirmed I believe so, I also read some stuff on it pointing in that it came before ancient civilization even I was thinking of this myself because of the Jellyfish thing. Going by our science, jellyfish have remained unchanged since their introduction, so that should apply to tentacool/ tentacruel as well. I had completely overlooked the 9tails immortality thing. I def

This may be worth looking into. Perhaps they should be classified under extra terrestrial pokemon. Since according to the original red games they arrived on a space ship. *Reading up intensifies*

Some really interesting theories and yes, I should be more clear on old. Ideally I would term old as pre history/ Ancient. So everything from Arceus/ Mew to primative/ ancient man I am actually intrigued by the ancient power theory since a few of the pokemon listed I can't even imagine being around then, but then again, It is hard to imagine a pokemon world if you aren't the creator..

excluding the shiny Gyarados from the lake, it was a shiny Graveller in Crystal. This was before I knew shiny pokemon were an actual thing.

I would like to add some research I found. Apparently Larvitar is ancient as they were formed from the oldest mountains which fuels their hunger to eat mountains and their name (Tyranitar) is supposed to be a descendant of the T Rex or Tyrantrum There's also Carbink who's dex entry says its from millions of years ago Gastrodon who says its from a long time ago and it shell evolved but strands are still in DNA Sigilyph, Baltoy and Yamask are considered ancient pokemon as well Staryu, Lunatone, Solrock and Elgyem are considered extra terrestrial and therefore age is indeterminate, though sp

I just read about shellder now you are right I don't quite agree on Natu/ Xatu since their dex entries mention them being with people and that they can see the past, not that they are a part of the past. Why do you reckon they are sper old? Also only thing I could find on Nincada was that they can live underground for 10 years, nothing quite about being pre historic or ancient Agree on all the others though since their dex entries back it up Lol, but these are legendaries. basically all legendaries are ancient.
