  1. It's mostly because of the fact that the game needs to be balanced. Anyways, I heard that Shadow Ball is 100% gonna be in E16
  2. Oh. Then it must have been some other item.
  3. Revives are kinda cheap in my opinion. It somehow ruins the fun since you are basically adding more than 6 pokemon on your team. Also, how to get the Razor Claw? because it's not in any guide I know of
  4. HJK for the win Also, Serra and Noel next up. Should be relatively simple, right? Right?
  5. My bad, I put that post because I thought it was an egg move. I guess I forgot Munna learned it though level-up. Is the revive above the PokeMart (if it exists)? there is a small alleyway you can go in but it is hidden behind the steel beam, and there is a rock/box above the Mart which I think hides an item. But i'm not sure, exactly. EDIT: Alleyway as in path between the buildings
  6. I meant that if he hadn't gotten them already he can't anymore. If he does have them, great! But if not, there isn't any way to get back. Also, Ciel is the end of E15. I don't think you can get Weavile in E15. Razor Claw isn't an obtainable item yet, at least not in E15. We can get it when we return to Reborn City in E16 when we can access the upper department store though. Any ice type does the trick though, but Priority with Ice Shard helps more.
  7. The point is the same. it calculates of the higher stat out of SpAtk or SpDef. We just used 2 different examples
  8. Basically, it turns the game into a Gen 1 Field. 1) Yes, the moves are calculated off the Gen I mechanics. And is Sp or Phys depending on type 2) SpDef and SpAtk was merged in Gen I, so if you have 250 SpAtk and 50 SpDef you'll have a stat of 250 "special" 3) These three types were not in the game in Gen I. Dark and Steel were created in Gen II and fairy in gen VI. Not sure about resistances, but I'd assume that they would be the same as normal. (don't quote me on this) 4) No clue. Just some glitch thing? 5) It may be a reference to how Dragon Rage was the only Dragon type move in gen I. But yeah, I think it is 1x
  9. A lot of the pokemon you suggest aren't available at his point in the game. Alakazam, Metagross, Aggron, Excadrill, Magnezone, Dragalgae etc etc. You can get the suggested Ice types though. they're easily available in the Ametrine/Citrine mountains
  10. Zebstrika is a pure physical attacker, so Charge Beam and Discharge are useless. Ampharos is a good replacement for it. Tms are replacable so there really is no use to have a mon specifically for TMs. If worst comes to worst an HM slave won't ruin your gameplay since before most major battles you have access to a PC. Is fire pledge really needed on blaziken? I would swap with Brave Bird. You already have 2 fire moves. Replace Meowstic with Ralts if possible. It's moveset isn't as good as Gardevoir's, and a Fairy type would be good. Swalot really lacks diversity. All poison moves will hinder you greatly. A good Poison type can be Drapion whose only weakness is ground. Again, Darmanitan is a physical attacker, so Overheat is redundant. Give him bulldoze as Sheer force boosts it to almost EQ level power. These are just really general suggestions. Can we see your PC Box to give suggestions specific to Ciel? A good stealth Rocks user will damage Ciel's team. I can't remember off the top of my head but there are lots of Rock types around the mountains so I'd look into those.
  11. Just something about Kricketot, He is incredible for the first two gyms, once he evolves. Technician boosted Fury Cutter can take julia up till emolga, and even then you should be able to do big damage to it. Florinia also gets wercked by Kricketune EDIT: I got moonlight on my munna
  12. I think it means playthrough as in a monogen, or something special. Ralts probably won't be given to you though, just because it was taken out due to balancing reasons. Espurr, who took it's place is still a good pokemon, especially considering the abundance of Poison types early-game. Ralts is only accessible later on in the game just to make things fairer to the Gym Leaders, etc. EDIT: It does say "Custom Playthroughs and Monotypes."
  13. Ice is a terrible type by itself, but most have secondary types that back it up very nicely. Shell Smash Skill Link Cloyster is a more powerful Cinccino. More damage even though it has less varied moves the damage boost goes a long way. Thick Fat Mamo can tank fire, is surprisingly fast and has Ice Shard priority. Snow Warning Aurorus resists fire too and can use Freeze-Dry, a move that I know can sweep unprepared teams. Froslass is immune to Fake Outs, can destiny bond and thunderbolt too which gives her good coverage. Weavile. No more words necessary Walrein is a great tank and Ice Body + Leftovers makes him live forever. He can also encore and Yawn, making him a decent support too.
  14. I can imagine his tentacles just creeping out of the holes in the rocks. And then a Mega-Rayquaza appears from outta nowhere, ridden by none other than Techie Jonathan.
  15. http://pokemonshowdown.com/replay/ounomega-286210299 my drapion just swept. Damn, son.

I had max speed on Drapion, and I guess he didn't have max speed on Zapdos

Yep, Jolly. I prefer it to be as fast as possible

  16. Yawn + Protect. Such an asshole set. I love it

Reminds me of slowbro/camerupt, and while quite annoying is legit. Your opponent can still switch out in the turn you protect, or you could happen to be against a mon with insomnia, so yeah..

      Walrein. Ice mono

    4. Shing

      Shing

Nah, protect and wish is the true asshole set.

  17. Maybe instead of the event pokemon recap in green, you have the guides to event pokemon in green too. Later on, it will be difficult to easily search for specific events if there's like 15 event pokemon in one area (Peridot Ward)
  18. if you're in E15, revert to a backup save before you traded the Bibarel. Change the backup save's name with "Game.rxdata" to get your EXP Share back.
  19. Kinda collaged some images together for ya I'm not the best at computer collaging so bear with me XD. Anyways, congratz on the win. Solaris is a toughie, but Scrafty seems to be too good. I might have to get one for my own playthrough #MOXIE
  20. Key Item: Swiss Cheese. El's worst nightmare
  21. Stealth Rocks are practically useless vs samson, since Fighting resists Rock. Toxic Spikes is much better in this case. Toxic Spikes Roserade resists Fighting and is fast enough to land 2 tox spikes.
  22. That's a very good point, as Sceptile is decently balanced with attack and spatk, so acrobatics would mostly kill. but from experience, the tankier ones of Samson's team (Conkeldurr, Hariyama) won't die from acrobatics alone, since there isn't STAB. So investing in a Hawlucha would be a good idea too. I also had the Mienshao and Hawlucha outspeed my Sceptile so yeah, it's not very reliable. Also, does the Mamoswine still have Ice Shard? because a STAB Priority move is very good for finishing off opponents if they're too fast. It does a decent amount to Hawlucha regardless, too.
  23. Titania: "once the water is clear, they activate." Shofu: "No idea what she's talking about."

      ShadowStar

It depends on what he is stuck on lmao

  24. Shade is one of the toughest gyms. Especially Banette and Rotom. I've heard that Mightyena puts in work, and a Camerupt can sweep half his team (speaking from experience). Diggersby has a complete immunity to all of Rotom's attacks, and half of Gengar's (Shadow claw and Thunderbolt) so that may be something to look into
