To be honest I don't give a wormadamn about burmy. Krookodile is great, from experience, and Mamo is a damn GOD. Flygon is gonna be good too. I might find a male Burmy for that trade. I would get NidoM but I'm not good with the arcades (if you could link the article about Voltorb flip, it'll be greatly appreciated.) I'm gonna use Whiscash, and pray for Excadrill in the Egg. I'm also a little confused about the Golett/Elgyem/Baltoy event. It's got something to do with the totem pole in the Beryl Cave thing, right? But is it randomized between the three, or do you have to use 3 ill-fated dolls to get them all? Cause I really want Golurk. Hehe For some reason, all the Water/Ground types seem really mediocre (except Swampert). Gastrodon doesn't learn EQ or a powerful Ground move, Quagsire's stats are meh and Whiscash's set seems the best of the three.

So I'm starting a Ground Type mono right now. Turtwig will be my starter, and basically it's gonna be the only Ground type I have until after Julia. Oh well. Name: Cotta Turtwig - Twiggy: Dreams of being a powerful Curse, EQ, Wood Hammer, Leech Seed Torterra. Impish (+Def -SpAtk) IVs: 17, 30, 31, 14, 21, 24 Soon-To-Be members: Onyx, Numel (for the Flobot) Any tips on a Ground mono? Seems pretty tough in the early game if you ask me.

Things that you DONT like on Pokemon Reborn.
wytch_doctr replied to Karyuudan's topic in Reborn City
I'm done with E15, so I wont get spoilt. Ame might be the Champion for all we know. DJ Arc is in the E4 (from what I heard), Victoria is probably the reserve Fighting Gym leader now, and other than that the Team Meteor peeps and the Aqua/Magma gangs really don't count as characters we get to meet and know. -

The event pokemon are kind of ways to get pokemon in the beginning. Due to the pollution in the city there aren't much wild ones, so there has to be a way to get them otherwise, right? What I find kind of annoying (and kind of strange) is how every single character you meet is a Gym Leader, Reserve Gym Leader, E4 or is going to be/was a gym leader/reserve gym leader. As far as you know, everyone with any relevance to the plot is a gym leader. Anyways, i dunno if its just me . -
Going through rough patch with Fighting/Fairy duotype

I know, I was just saying that Ralts is gonna be powerful in this Mono. I think Radomus' gym is going to be a problem. 4x Psychic weakness? Ouch. -

seems like you'd want to get Ralts ASAP. It's literally the perfect mon for Fight/Fairy - Gardevoir/Gallade. Heck, why not breed and use both? Leaf Blade Gallade is a monster. -
Stoutland is pretty terrifying. He gets Intimidate for a reason, y'know
-
So in my second run of reborn, I'm using a Stoutland with Retaliate. For you guys who don't know, Retaliate's base power doubles when it's used after an ally has just died. So, with my great maths skills, I have deduced this: Now, add the Holy Field Effect in Reborn. Anyways, I think I'm gonna have fun fighting all the Cultists in El's base

Ampharos is slow, but later on in the game you get Trick Room, which will help tactically. For now though, his great SpAtk will pull through. To be honest I dislike slow mons so Ampharos isn't my first choice Electric type. I would rather get a Joltik (but just my preferences)
-
I think Light Screen would be a lot better in the Shade Battle, since most of his mons are Special Attackers. Reflect is only good for Banette, so if possible set LS up before Reflect to counter the majority of his mons. But still, having both set up is probably better.

Huh? I got Budew in E15, before Julia. You get a Rose Incense from a Doxy in Peridot, North of the PC. Roselia is great with Toxic, Toxic Spikes (great move) and Giga Drain, but you might have to give it a few makeovers at the salons in Obsidia to make it evolve earlier. Otherwise you might miss out on quite a few good moves. Sadly you can't get Roserade until further in the game but you probably still would want to level Roselia to level 50 regardless, to get a good move.

Name suggestions: Gromodo and Florragon (guessing it's a 2 stage evo - Grass -> Grass/Dragon)
-
On the topic of the misdreavus quest, it actually terrified me.
-
Yeah, move tutor. Find the House Key in the Railnet which you'll get to later
-
Shade wasn't too hard. Blaziken mostly swept with Blaze Kick and finished off with Crunch on Stoutland Ciel wasn't too tough, once her goddamn Togekiss stopped Flinching my Trick Room Bronzong (Heavy Slam and Ice Shard Mamo)
-
He did say the Item guide wasn't very useful at his stage. (and the magic of editing posts)

Neither are obtainable before Shade, unfortunately. The Fire Stone is available the gym after Shade's, and Arcanine is a great asset to your team. I think that you don't get a Dusk Stone until later (badge 5), so I would keep Murkrow in the PC until you get it to evolve it. After all, having more than 6 mons helps in Reborn EDIT: You CAN technically get a fire stone earlier, by mining glowy rocks with the Mining Kit

Onyx is a grass type gym (you fight florinia). There are up to 15? trainers you can fight in the Onyx Ward, including Fern. You can get a Lillipup and a Seel/Cacnea egg. Also the Game Corner gives some good pokemon (Nido-M, Shinx and Slugma). You get the Coin Case inside the Trainer School. I won't spoil the game for you but the next Gym is a poison type, so be prepared for that.
-
If you find them all before the PULSE Tangrowth then you'll have to beat Corey first.
-
How far are you into Onyx? because if you just got there (literally just) then there are plenty of trainers that you can find before the Gym Leader for you to level your team. In all honesty, your team is pretty good for Florinia's grass types. I'd suggest training up Stunky, Hoothoot and Makuhita (a fighting type is pretty good for her star mon).

Watch it be stolen by El and turns out to be Arceus

I'm sure my shinies had the sparkle... Just checked - they do.

Some mons like Hariyama, Mamoswine and Blaziken (and others) do very well without stat moves. Thats because their kits suit them being 1HKOers. Others, like M-Meowstic are support. M-Meowstic gets very little attacking moves but has a wide variety of stat moves which, in the long run, benefit your team more than a pure damage dealer.

Fan Game Recommendation/s - Can you help me?.
wytch_doctr replied to TheSilentSerenade's topic in Fan-game Exposé
I enjoyed Insurgence. It's quite a polished game with a good storyline, and it runs more like a real Pokemon game than Reborn. Rejuvenation is good too. It's more similar to Reborn from what I've seen of it. -
If you're on Shelly, I'd suggest getting a strong Fire type or a Flying type. If you haven't already, build the Growlithe from the Police Quest or a Numel next to Peridot Station in the Rain. I wouldn't use Onix, since I'm pretty sure one (or more) of her mons have Giga Drain (maybe Yanmega) and her Masquerain has Bubblebeam. The Pachirisu could be good, especially against the Yanmega (with speed boost, and can quickly get out of control). I used a Skuntank, who evolves at 34 and gets Flamethrower when evolving. It's only weakness is Ground, so it could be a secure way to beat her. However, most important of all is to have a team of mons generally at the level cap, so you actually have a chance to 6v6, instead of dying instantly. If you're having trouble grinding, I suggest going to under the Grand Staircase and train against Unowns. Edit: Male Meowstic is generally more support, so set up Light Screen and Reflect (if possible) and then bring out your hard hitters.
