I haven't really put much thought into it yet. But I guess you're free to play however you want until you hatch the egg. The only real clause I would have is that you have to keep the egg on you at all times. No ditching it into the PC, even temporarily.

I used Sceptile the whole way. It was difficult at first but Kricketune is a boss and swept Julia and Rini, so i didnt have to use my Grovyle. Once I got Nature Power on him and around Shade's gym, he was great. Leaf Blade hits hard and if you invest a Heart Scale early and teach him Leaf Storm (learns at start or level 63) he can beat everything that's weak to grass (Blake's Walrein didn't stand a chance), but he is fragile and will probably die to a supereffective move.

Perhaps this can be a new way to do a monotype or a duotype of Reborn. The Growlithe you get from the police station can be traded for 1 of 18 different pokemon (egg). The possibilites are Tentacool, Axew, Drilbur, Vulpix, Rhyhorn, Staryu, Togepi, Sneasel, Shroomish, Azurill, Cottonee, Frillish, Pawniard, Vullaby, Larvesta, Phantump and more This pokemon is set per save i believe so there is no soft-resetting involved. So when this egg hatches, you have to use the types of that pokemon to clear the game. When you get the egg, you can go as far as you like, but remember that once it hatches you have to only use those types (even if you get axew and have to use 5 noibats) Is this a good or a bad idea?

I dunno about the earthquakes being made by the PULSE machine. Avalugg seemed to be a test, like Shelly said how it wasn't in a tactical location. I'd say PULSE 01 could be something near the house where ZEL was combined since it was where the PULSE originated... like how Terra said the sleeping PULSE was on the mountain peak. If it's on the peak then it can spread in a wide area (like Agate City) and maybe the air is too cold for the spores to take effect in Ametrine City. The earthquakes could probably just be bombs made by Meteor, like how they destroyed the Train Station. Plus, don't forget about the PULSE Swalot in the Water Treatment Center, but I couldn't see what number it was before it turned back into the filter thingy.

I caught a Zigzagoon on Opal Bridge, instead of Pachirisu or Panpour. And i dunno if its important but i found Panpour in the house.

I chose Treeko as my starter, and his speed and overall attack strength is great. However he really needs to evolve into Sceptile to be powerful
