  1. I'm a huge fan of the Gen 4 sounds, especially Platinum. Somehow the Giratina battle theme just gets my blood pumping
  2. Extreme Randomizer Nuzlocke is OUTTT!!

  3. Hmm... A Steel type would be amazing for you right now (ahem, Steelix). Does Togekiss outspeed Toxicroak? if not, you can hit it with some kind of Poison type attack. Level the Lapras. as said before, Ice types have an insane advantage over this gym. I don't think that anything resists it (I may be wrong.) I think that you can get a Snorunt somewhere near Calcenon City. A glalie would be good since it is decently fast and bulky, and learns moves such as priority Ice Shard and Ice Beam. Also, you can go with Destiny Bond Froslass as it is fast and you almost guarentee a kill with it. Try and
  4. tfw Rough Skin + Rocky Helm does 50% to Parental Bond Kanga... Don't Mega your Garchomp, kids

    1. TimTim

      TimTim

M-Garchomp is actually slower by 10 in base speedd, hell no to mega, speed is everything in OU

    2. wytch_doctr

      wytch_doctr

yeah, I figured that out the hard way

  5. Goldeen is available in the house above the Peridot Train Station, You'll have to battle him to get access to his pool. An Old Rod is available in the house to the far right of this pool house, next to the lake
  6. Quad mono? Huh? Combusken is able to sweep her, if you got good IVs and Nature. If you level both Pokemon to level 19/20 then it'll be a lot easier
  7. Trick Room is scary for my speedies.

    1. TimTim

      TimTim

yeah, but trick room lasts few turns only, if you have a tank, can easily stall it out, thats why trick room is now more and more outdated

    2. wytch_doctr

      wytch_doctr

Problem is, Trick Room + Spore is just so ugh. Especially in Doubles OU

  8. Is it strange that I have not actually found one asshole on Showdown?

  10. Yawn + Protect. Such an asshole set. I love it

    1. zimvader42

      zimvader42

Reminds me of slowbro/camerupt, and while quite annoying is legit. Your opponent can still switch out in the turn you protect, or you could happen to be against a mon with insomnia, so yeah..

      Walrein. Ice mono

    3. Shing

      Shing

Nah, protect and wish is the true asshole set.

  11. Titania: "once the water is clear, they activate." Shofu: "No idea what she's talking about."

    1. TimTim

      TimTim

  12. Shade is one of the toughest gyms. Especially Banette and Rotom. I've heard that Mightyena puts in work, and a Camerupt can sweep half his team (speaking from experience). Diggersby has a complete immunity to all of Rotom's attacks, and half of Gengar's (Shadow claw and Thunderbolt) so that may be something to look into
  13. Swinub should have evolved already at level 33..? Unless you caught him later. Anyways. You should really train up to level 37-40. There should be rebattleable trainers at the Grand Hall by Shade. (But it may be after shade, so I'm not sure.) Use meowstic to Psyshock Gengar. It should kill or put him in red. Shade should use his potions if you don't kill it. Use tangela to knock off the Banette if possible and finish off with Acrobatics from Emolga if tangela dies. Use infernape vs Doublade. A few flame wheels will kill it.
  14. You have to go to the grand gates (East through route 1, and then south when you reach the Research Center.) You'll meet El there and the storyline will continue EDIT: They took Gardevoir. Luna is safe
  15. Petition to help Shofu through the Water Treatment Center?

    1. TimTim

      TimTim

      LOL send him this link

  16. Agreed on Haunter. It looks terrifying, whereas Gengar looks like it ate a few too many McDonalds before evolving. God knows how he levitates. Eviolite Metapod Dragonair is sleek, smooth and very majestic. Love the design. But Dragonite just ruined it for me. Looked too bulky and the wings are just so small and ugly. Don't get me started on the colouring too. Why couldn't Dragonite be serpentine ;-; There's just something about Talonflame that looks bad to me. Maybe it's the red details on its grey fur or how it's legs are meh. Fletchinder looks so much sleeker. Otherwise, I do like Elect
  17. in the Back of the original room, there are a pair of doors that leads to the puzzle You have to talk to the Vendor in the bottom left, the robed man, your gang member in the bottom left and finally your gang member in the top right. Then you go into the healing area and come back out
  18. Corey's team : Croagunk, Skuntank, Crobat, Grimer, Nidorina, Skrelp (lead) Question: Did you find all the policemen before Corey? because if you did, then the field will be tougher. Meowstic F is great, if you keep her alive and spam Psyshock/Psybeam depending on the defense of the opposing mon. Lower Phys Def = Use Psyshock, Lower Sp Def = use Psybeam. The level cap is 35, so I would try and level Meowstic as much as possible. Pachirisu can be good vs Skrelp as it is a part water type. If that doesn't work, lead with bayleef and spam Magical Leafs. To be honest I would Strongly suggest to
  19. Just purely based on looks, my worst 5 are: 5: Mudkip Mudkip is adorable, Marshtomp is a little on the ugly side, and Swampert looks cool. But Mega-Swampert? Ugh. Those arms just look horrible. If he was on all fours it'll be acceptable.... but ugh. 4: Bulbasaur I love Bulbasaur. It's just so damn adorable. Ivysaur begins to look more cool than cute, but Venusaur... I really can't blame GF much for it, since I have no idea about any other possible sprite, but it just looks too damn fat. And Mega Venusaur is basically the same as normal Venusaur. 3: Cyndaquil This is becomin
  20. Ampharos is slow, but later on in the game you get Trick Room, which will help tactically. For now though, his great SpAtk will pull through. To be honest I dislike slow mons so Ampharos isn't my first choice Electric type. I would rather get a Joltik (but just my preferences)
  21. I think Light Screen would be a lot better in the Shade Battle, since most of his mons are Special Attackers. Reflect is only good for Banette, so if possible set LS up before Reflect to counter the majority of his mons. But still, having both set up is probably better.
  22. ah b**chtits wheres my background bb i need dat sweet luvin - Terra I need the giant mallet on my desktop
