In response to Mirri's long rant Jun quietly made a mental note to change the color of his plasma sword's blade to a more positive and less offensive dark purple color immediately after this conversation had ended. And also to mention as little of the empire he is worming for as (heh) humanly possible. "I don't think that would be a good idea. I mean you are already on the path towards redemption".

Alan nodded in response to the armored street samurai's statement before he replied himself by saying "That my friend, that was one of the wonders of the twenty first century". As he said those words he typed in a few commands to order his gun bearing drone to slowly walk towards the pair. "And also that wasn't me accessing the internet, since I already had that video on my commlink in the first place. Accessing the internet would mean that I am making it send or receive data to another device somewhere in the world".
-
Alan sighed before he took out a commlink and slowly but surely approached the heavily armored street samurai. He would then flick to a certain video that prominently displays a tusked, pink mohawked, and heavily chromed man unloading a disturbingly phallic and high caliber weapon at several vehicles while he appears to be slowly walking towards them. And while the weapon seems to be highly effective as it practically massacres the poor and mostly defenseless people in the vehicles. It did absolutely nothing to prevent one of the vehicles from simply plowing into the man with a loud THUMP, and causing a spray of blood to splash onto the camera before the video feed promptly cut out. And the sound of a man repeatedly saying what sounded to be some form of expletives replacing the sound of gunfire, sirens, and explosions. Alan would slowly turn off and pocket his commlink after showing this video to Nader, and he swiftly said "Never go on a run with a group that requires you to wear a pink mohawked wig".
-
Alan couldn't help but be a bit shocked at how crude the heavily armored street samurai's Weapon's system was, and he found himself just having to say. "So your Horsekiller is basically a less accurate and lower caliber assault cannon that doesn't fire explosive rounds and probably isn't carrying up to 12 shots at a time isn't it?".
-
Jun slowly but surely approached Mirri's current position to try and prevent any misunderstandings that might arise from him mishearing anything she said. "I am afraid that I do not know much about the Jedi Order or the Sith...but I feel that an explanation for your previous out burst would be much more important".

[D&D][IC] Valkyria: Scales of War
Yours Truly replied to lifesapity's topic in Unofficial Official RP Club's General
Keldor cautiously prepared to follow after the group by placing himself somewhere behind the barbarian and the bard. As he realized that anyone confident enough to march into the front lines of combat without any armor on his person must have a trick up his sleeve...or they are just plain foolish. That and the bard was technically heavier armored than he was, and he found that to be weird and unnatural. -
Alan continued to absentmindedly type into his cyberdeck as he stared directly at DOCTOR DOOM, and he found himself realizing the fact that the people here have yet to actually ask "Wait, where the hell are we going anyway? And what particular problems should we look into in that area?". He would then wait until he received his answer before he turned to introduce himself to the rest of the group by saying "My street name is Radbot, and you can count on me if you need someone to hack into a computer system or do absolutely anything involving robots and computer systems...and it is a pleasure to meet all of you". Afterwards he would quickly realize that this would quite possibly be the only situation he will find himself in that would justify a dramatic and quite possibly evil laugh..and that he would have to waste that opportunity due to the importance of not seeming insane as part of your first impression. This is why he settled for simply ordering his DOOMBOT and his drone to stand in place.

Jun felt extremely awkward as she impotently stared at the events happening all around her for a rather disturbing amount of time. And while any other man or woman would presumably freak out at the idea of someone alternating between throwing lightning at people or choking a certain someone out. Jun's coffee enhanced reflexes allowed her to duck into a conveniently nearby piece of cover long before she realized that she was invisible and that she could have just speedwalked away from the scene with absolutely no repercussions earlier. And so the ambassador did what anyone else in her position would do (after a moment's deliberation and a lot of hastily trying to remember things about the three teammates who are for a lack of a better word. Acting out). She did absolutely nothing. She quietly justified her course of inaction by reviewing the notes she had written about the two of them, and she hoped that at least one of them would choose to try some measure of reconciliation before they had to rely on each other in a stressful situation. (Although there was a fair chance that the attempt would either end up being fruitless, or that it might never happen in the first place due to how stubborn the two of them were.) Jun let out a sigh of relief after he saw Satomi break away from Mirri's hold, and she quietly muttered a underneath her breath at the tactless winged person in some unknowable alien language when they tried to stop Satomi's escape. As while it seemed like a perfectly reasonable course of action, it was an incredible bad thing to try and do to someone who seemed so obsessed with honor and self sufficiency. This is why the ambassador worried the most about Satomi's state of mind, as she slowly started to realize that the actions of the party was enough to torment the samurai to the point where she openly wept and fled in what seemed to be disgrace. She quietly hoped that Satomi would choose to try and ignore everything that her world's pseudo Japanese and seemingly feudalistic culture had told her would be appropriate to do in this sort of situation. And that she would simply spend some time to sulk alo-Damn it Arminius!. But of course the ambassador did not have the time to try and stop the man from trying to solve all of the problems of someone who didn't seem like they wanted to have somebody else solve those problems for them. As he was too busy staring at Mirri as he started to break out of the dome of earth that someone had decided to seal him in. And so with great trepidation Jun finally decided to turn her cloaking device off, but only after the plasma sword wielding mercenary managed to tucker themselves out. She then slowly approached the mercenary to say "So you can wield a plasma sword too huh?".

Alan had pulled out his cyberdeck by the time that the DOOMBOTS were unveiled, and with a rather large amount of key strokes he ordered his heavily armed drone to crawl its way towards one of the pair before it emitted the sound of Alan's voice to tell it to "Follow me". He would then look up at the surprisingly charitable Doctor before he said "Much appreciated DOCTOR DOOM. Your donation will surely help us accomplish our shared goal of not dying horribly while we try to save the world".
-
While a part of Alan had wanted to try and find out more about the situation earlier, that part soon found itself becoming repurposed as he realized that a real life DOOMBOT would potentially be worth as much as an actual series of answers if they still had DOCTOR DOOM's up to date memories. This is why he immediately made his presence known to everyone around him by saying the words "Were you at all serious when you stated that you would be willing to grant us the aid of a DOOMBOT?". In a low and yet distinctive tone of voice that made him seem to be whispering directly in your ear.

Jun had rather reluctantly spent the time after Director Piggot slammed the door on his face by topping up his suit's oral caffeine intake system. This is why Jun would seem to be especially energetic when he stealthily dashed after Kusuke and Satomi to try and get to the boat graveyard as fast as possible.

Keldor hastily nodded at Ragash before he said "Well it has been a pleasure to meet the two of you, although I must ask that you do not refer to me as a good dwarf, as I have already given you my name". As he said those words he noticed another half elf proffer an odd looking vial at him, and he quietly wondered why she would assume that he knew absolutely anything about how a (wo)man would bring someone back to life with nothing but a vial of blood. This is why he gave her an odd look before he flatly replied with. "Well how should I know? I'm a fighter, not a miracle worker". -
Pokemon in Space [IC Chapter #03]

Radovan had fallen into a deep and restful slumber after the Morelull afflicted him with it's ability. And Kalva's timely awakening simply caused him to groggily get back on to his own two feet. He would then nod at Kalva with a warm and friendly smile on his face before he gave the mute kid a long and uncomfortably tight hug. After a few moments had passed he would simply release Kalva from his clutches before he sauntered over to the next vaguely interesting looking thing in the area. And of course this would be the large and perfectly explicable hole that wasn't there before. He would then wave at all of the little people who had already decided to hop down there with his right hand while his left discreetly took several pictures of the hole with his A-Comm. And after a satisfactory amount of pictures have been taken he would quickly flick through them to find the one he liked the most. Before he would edit the picture to display the caption "So guys, remember the impassable trees we were supposed to find our way around? Well..." in large and easy to understand white letters. And of course he would send that picture over to pretty much everyone in his graduating class and Ray. Radovan stood there for a few moments as he thought about what he should do next, and after that moment of deliberation had passed he would eventually find himself calling up Ray to say "So do you have any idea where Kai and Red are right now? Also is it fine if I enter that hole?". -

Keldor was a bit preoccupied with testing his recently acquired scimitar when the dark haired elf asked his question. And he furrowed his brow at the man before answering with "Exactly two of the green bastards were here to check up on us earlier, but they were just busy with patrolling the damned place and I don't think that they will be back any time soon. As he said those words he continued to judge and examine every single inch of the oddly well made weapon to try and find out more about its maker (Rolled a 14 for the trained history check). And after he finally noticed the odd black arrow mark he immediately turned to Ragash to ask "Where did you get this weapon? And this might be a good time for you to tell me your name". -

Keldor gratefully and rather carefully took the scimitar from the rather oddly dressed elf who he secretly wished was just a particularly dark skinned wood elf who has a surprising amount of skill with dying her hair. He then glanced around the room they were in to try and examine the place a bit more freely (Rolled an 18 for that by the way) before he said "Rather unfortunately I have absolutely no idea where my equipment was taken...but I feel that the green bastards would have taken it to their superiors for obvious reasons". -
Jun quietly continued to snoop around the tinker testing room, and he carefully examined each and every single material that was still in stock...up until he finally got bored of watching everyone else work and snucked out of the room to try and track down that rather peculiar Director Piggot person. But of course he made damn sure to deactivate his cloak before he was anywhere near where Piggot was supposed to be as he really did not want to be the one to explain why he tried to give her a heart attack. This is also why he made damn sure that she would be able to hear him coming before he calmly said "I must say that I apologize if any members of my team have already done anything to infuriate you, I am sure that they did not actively try to find ways to offend you".

Ahmed wondered what the rest of the group was talking about as he continued to try and clean himself up from the uncomfortable goopish liquid he was submerged in earlier. And it took him quite a while before he realized that "Sir" Kyou had apparently decided to endure the sensation of smelling vaguely of human blood for a quite disturbing amount of time...or they could have chosen to take a shower somewhere that is more...private he guessed.

Keldor nodded at the oddly dressed Elf before he said "Yes a scimitar would do just fine...I honestly don't want to be caught without a weapon to defend myself with if we bump into any more of those green bastards". -

Keldor nodded in the general direction of Adronsius before he said "Well at least you can still walk and talk..and I don't think that you can say the same about the green bastards who took you away now can't you?". He had a pleased smile on his face after he noticed yet another elf unlock the door to his cell, and he nodded at the man before he gingerly stepped out of his cell. "Have any of you seen a copper plated maul anywhere? The goblins took my equipment away from me earlier, and I just want to know if you have seen any of it lying around the place?". -

Keldor looked thoughtful for a moment after hearing the drow's statement before he finally decided to say "Kartenix is in fact human, or possibly was if he actually went and tried to overpower our captors". He then examined the group a bit more throughly to look for Adronsius before he finally settled for just asking "So you managed to rescue Adronsius?". -

The dwarf shook his head at Yautjua's question before he looked straight at the elderly man to quietly say. "No I am afraid that I am not Kartenix, and that I don't know where they took him away..but I do know that the respectable gentleman standing in the other cell is Sertanian". He then proceeded to gesture at Sertanian's cell door before he continued by saying "But if you are looking for the artifacts you might want to get Sertanian out first, as the blasted old fool wouldn't stop yelling at the goblins about the proper way of handling them.". The man's long beard seemed to shift upwards, and after an awkward few moments he finally offered a handshake before he said "The name's Keldor, Keldor son of Grinain that is". -
Giocomo almost laughed out loud after he heard his colleague's incoherent screeching. It was just so damn loud and irate and... and he quietly wondered if there would be a way to defuse this situation peacefully if the pirate actually managed to understand whatever that was...But of course he quickly realized that he was in fact a vaguely threatening looking human male with elite commando training, and that right now he is piloting an extremely well armed mecha that he may or may not have...ahem 'convinced' the quartermaster to provide additional weaponry for in exchange for certain goods and services. (Although to be brutally honest what sort of idiot would decide that it would be a good idea to give a man who is literally code named "Firefight" and marked as a ranged weapons specialist a fucking broadsword and warhammer anyway?.) But anyway that was besides the point he was trying to think make, and of course that point would be that Giocomo was a soldier first and a diplomat sometime after the (thankfully not nuclear) fallout had settled, and that this would be a great time for him to not laugh and instead make damn sure to surreptitiously get the pirate's destroyer in his sights and mark it as a potential target for his ARTEMIS missile system. In short he was as ready for the inevitable ass reaming that one would expect from going against the wishes of an enemy craft that just might be backed up by a dozen just like it for all he knew about the situation.
-
Giocomo simply stared at the Elven humanoboo pirate in frank disbelief for a short amount of time as he simply wondered if any of this was real and that dealing with shit like this would be his life from now on. After the moment had passed the expression on his face shifted into a hopefully threatening one as he replied with "Are you seriously threatening an armed military convoy?". He quietly hoped that this was all just a practical joke, and that the damned elves at the coalition were just hazing the newly formed Void Rangers. But rather unfortunately Giocomo couldn't help but think about how this made a disturbing amount of sense despite how dumb the Elf seemed. This is why he immediately followed by asking "And who are you supposed to be anyway?". He would then quietly check his scanners to make sure that there wouldn't be any nasty surprises.
