    I got a position as a lead vocalist in a song in a musical in my school, but I have stage fright, and I vehemently protested my own election as the lead vocalist for that song.

      But if you're THAT against it and there's still time until the show, keep trying? Say that you won't show up if they keep you in that position or something? Idk.

      congrats, and since it is musical, there are other casts that can offer morale and support, after all, musical is not one man job

      I mean, who doesn't have stage freight? In serousiness though it's very common and definitely soemthing I bet a lot of the others in the production are also suffering with. However, tlak to people and if you really don't want to, make sure they know that. After all, if you don't want to do it you shouldn't be made to lol. Whatever ends up happenin' good luck lol.
