  1. I'd keep Gigalith, since Rock-types with Sturdy and Stealth Rock will definitely help you later on. You might want to make preparations after the battle with Luna, as there's going to be a temporary point of no return. That also means your options for new Pokemon to train are much more limited.
  2. I had to look up this "The Pokemon Story" as I had never heard of it. The few minutes of research I spent on this subject lead me to conclusion of agreeing with you.
  3. How about Lilligant? It learns Quiver Dance and Petal Dance, and Own Tempo really complements Petal Dance by negating confusion. Lilligant has lackluster movepool, however. Both Magnezone and Rotom are pretty commonly used. Like mentioned, both are great but if you prefer to change it up a little, pick Eelektross. It can learn a variety of moves, and thanks to Levitate it has no weaknesses. Eelektross is slow, so unless you get lucky with Quick Claw or most of the time you end up getting hit first.
  4. Where did you get Wingull? Iirc they are found in Apophyll. There are some nice changes to certain battles, but one of the few battles to frustrate me was in fact Cal.
  5. I see there's (at least) one theme that divides opinions. Those of you who think it can be handled in a Pokemon (fan)game, how would you handle it? Maybe through character dialogue, presented as a puzzle where the player puts the pieces together? I don't know what Ame had in mind, but I would like to remind that in Reborn it's hinted that Luna has suffered some form of abuse. Is (witnessing) a suicide not an sensitive issue, or is it that it's, at the end of the day, less painful experience? It's a reference to Pokemon Insurgence as well, at the same time it's a reference to many other Pokemon fangames. Think about Rejuvenation for a moment - if you have played it, that is. This is actually a good point. In a sense, many of the Teams in the official Pokemon games are also dark. The difference here seems to be how a certain theme is approached. In Reborn, for example, we see a graphic (as graphic as it can get with these graphics) yet realistic approach to suicide. On a side note, iirc there's self sacrifice in Dark Rising too. I would like to point out I'm not against the design choices made in Pokemon fangames. I'm just wondering if there's content that is - or if it was there, would be - in the game just for the sake of shock value, or does it have a storytelling purpose?
  6. I can't remember how I beat him, but Chatot gave me much more trouble than his Gligar. I guess Onix is able to land a Rock Tomb on Gligar, making it slow enough for something else to finish it off, maybe Roselia can outspeed Gligar after the Rock Tomb hit? Train a Fire-type to deal with Klefki, at least Litleo and Slugma are available to you. As for Tangrowth, since it's part Poison-type, Psychic-types can deal with it. It was regular Reborn, but I was able to defeat PULSE Tangrowth with Munna of all things. Edit: Since you have Seel- no, Ciel - you could use that to deal with Gligar. It learns Ice Shard at level 17.
  7. We have some fangames showing us the more questionable side of human interaction. There's murder, suicide and religious madmen. In this sense, several fangames are re-defining the concept of Pokemon games. I would hear your thoughts on if there should be a limit on what can be shown or handled in a Pokemon fangame. Are there things you would consider tacky, or even a taboo of sorts -issues that shouldn't be even touched upon?
  8. There's a story of an old farmer and his son. They live in the countryside in a rural village and own a horse. One day, however, the son accidentally leaves the fence door open and during the night the horse runs away. The villagers come to cheer up the farmer, but he replies: "How do you know this is a loss or failure?" A few days later the horse returns back to the farmer and his son, bringing several other horses with it. This time the villagers visit the farmer and want to congratulate him. Now the farmer asks: "How can you be so sure this is a success?" And so the farmer and his son keep doing their daily routines, until one day an accident happens. One of the horses kick the son in his right leg. The injury is so bad he has to limp for the rest of his life. Again, the villagers visit the farmer, and again he asks how they know this in fact was misfortune or failure. After some time a war breaks out. Men of the village are sent to the battefield, save elderly - and the farmer's son, who still was suffering from his injury. The war eventually ends, resulting in terrible casualties, but at the very least the old farmer and his son led a peaceful life.
  9. Does either your Granbull or Arcanine have Intimidate- ability? There are many Pokemon with high Attack stat in the second and third battles, so that might be a good way to make them more manageable. You certainly need an Electric-type as well, so my pick would be Manectric simply because it's the fastest of the Electric-types you have. You could use a Fire-type to deal with Scizor and Excadrill in the third battle. What I don't recommend for you to pick are Chesnaught and Vivillon. Vivillon is just quite frail, so unless the AI decides to decimate your partner first, you can't set up. Chesnaught has so many weaknesses, so even if you're in a relatively good match-up, like vs Eelektross, it can still deal damage with Flamethrower.
  10. I am now a free elf.

    1. Felicity

      Felicity

If only that's how it worked

  11. Sweet, I have all these new episodes to play while waiting for The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.
  12. I wrapped up my studies. I have yet to wrap up my conscription, though.
  13. What's your team like? It's difficult to give any specific advice when nothing is known about your Pokemon. Generally in Doubles you may want to focus on one opponent at a time.
  14. Just be patient. Developers prefer not to give out random dates for version releases these days. You see, that tends to lead to a situation where a developer rushes the game so that it can be released on the day they mentioned. I think Caz eventually lets us know when the new version will approximately be released.
  15. Head back to where episode 15 ended.
  16. Long story short, it's considered bribery, and thus is illegal.
  17. I don't know if I can, Patreon is illegal in Finland.
  18. Turtonator or Salandit. I'll go with Turtonator.
  19. I'm currently doing military service. It's compulsory here.
  20. It has been quite a while since I played this game, but iirc two of the pages are somewhat nearby the mansion. There should be ladders that take you to a small cave. There was a TM in the same cave. Another page is in a cave past a tunnel (if you have completed all the Addenfall rangers requests, Raikou was near this tunnel). The final page is past an icy sliding maze.
