Every person is going to have some trouble with different leaders and an easy time with others based on their team composition and how they play, so it's perfectly understandable that some people find this battle quite easy. It took me a few tries myself on Intense - Taunt was a valuable asset.

Charjabug can be evolved by levelling up in the West Gearen Power Plant's Generator Room, or on Terajuma Island (specifically, the forest parts).

Terajuma, West Gearen, Akuwa Town, Route 11, Route 8, Darchlight Woods, Nectar Woods and Route 7 are safe to save in.
Avoid saving in Sheridan, Goldenwood Areas, East Gearen, Route 2, Amethyst Cave, Route 3, Route 4. -
