Point taken. Still, you are pretty much stuck with Pokemon of the Normal, Fire, and Fighting type... Would Electivire qualify as a monkey? Or... Uh... Is there any Bigfoot/Yeti Pokemon out there?
Dont forget Stunky at the alleyway, Nidoran at game center in Onyx Ward(post Julia) and Venonat at Obsidia park, those are awesome mons for a mono poison run. Good luck and have fun with your mono poison run.
Misdreavus would make the list of worst pet, as its pokedex entry states 'It likes playing mischievous tricks such as screaming and wailing to startle people at night' or 'The pokemon apparently uses its red spheres to absorb the fearful feelings of foes and turn them into nutrition'. It cant help it as its food source comes from people's fear, now imagine it living in the household with people who have heart attacks or with babies.
First run:
My Delphox named Wizard with its will-o-wisp shuts down many physical threats along the way especially with T3R44 despite overwhelming type disadvantage.
Fighting/Fairy run:
My Mr Mime with its dual screens help quite a lot in gym battles and my Hariyama utilized its guts to its advantage in Corey's field and took out Corey's Brobat even with type mismatch in clutch.
Hi DesSyn, no sweats, i read through the entire intro, per Kuma said, you are here longer than me too, so i shall use welcome back instead of welcome, nice to meet you, enjoy your stay and see you around on the forum/server if you swing by server.

The latter, frequent awakenings in nights, i sometimes dont even need alarm to wake me up on major occasions that requires early rises, doubtly ever reach delta wave sleep which is the deep sleep scientifically speaking.
One thing from that screenshot, that Scizor is certainly not having a good time since under Inverse field, Steel has just become worst possible defensive typing Looking forward to new field, Inverse battles are fun.

There were few TV series and anime on tv that i watched but then some of them have been axed or discontinued, so i turn to my laptop, TV now is merely for watching tennis tournaments and news
True of what you said, i am just giving example of overlooked mons(addressing RagesSorrow's question 'Have you found other pokemon that are like Purugly'), i should probably have phrased it better, i am sorry about that.
For me, that spot would go to Beheeyem, it is quite a good Trick Room user and boasts a 125 base special attack while having decent bulk 75/75/90 in PU, and surprises many opponents, since many people hardly remember this mon existence.
Thats why i like gen 5 in term of gym leader involvement in the bigger picture and plots, at least the gym leaders assisted in stopping Plasma sages instead of inaction while the world was turning upside down. One thing though, Marlon's skewed sense of evil and good still bugs me(really dude? Team Plasma is freezing up the entire city and you are questioning me if the organization is evil or not)
I believe you need rock climb HM for that, and Crawli's TM is in a hut after you use rock climb to scale rock westhernmost of sheridan wetland(where your picture depicts), and Rock Climb HM is only obtainable right before 7th gym and useable only after 7th gym
