I've always been curious on where people found Reborn from, so I figured I should make a topic asking for curiosity's sake. To kick start the topic, I'll say where I found Reborn from. Where I ended up finding Reborn and all of it's fellow fan games from was a channel called PKMN Rob. He's one of the funniest guys on youtube IMO (Although on youtube is not a way I'd really describe him since he stopped doing Pokemon entirely and set up his own successful and very entertaining show and website but that's not super relevant). He did a 30ish episode series on Reborn and shortly after, since it looked so fun, I decided to try and play it. It took me several months IIRC because my old computer was pretty trash and I needed to get a new one for a while so I had to get one and then remember that I was going to play Reborn (the second one was probably what took more time) Now I'm also very curious if anyone else found Reborn off of Rob after writing this topic

After just discovering that I could have saved Scarlett I can't believe I failed. I had all the reputation needed I just must've missed the bow... I don't mind when characters die in the game because I had choice A or B and I believed in my choice and that killed a character, but when it's just of my own incompetence it's really frustrating. I would be so happy if there was something simple like a way to go back to an older save file (but of course this was before save file backups existed in Desolation) or set my location in the story to be before Scarlett killed herself so I could save her but that probably could never happen, and even if it could, who am I to ask someone to go out of their way to move my save file back because of my mistake. And I even managed to save Nova, so I can't call this run of Desolation 'the one where I kill off every character'.

Ah I see. Last part of what you said leaves a bit of a sour taste in my mouth because I had no idea that there would be consequences so I got caught in the first few frogs and figured it would be inconsequential if I soft resetted or not so I didn't, but your great game so your choices

I have a few remaining questions after finishing the version: What happens at the end of the version after the weezings come down? The logo comes up and I fade to black but nothing seems to happen or give me the GC award for completing the version. Am I supposed to soft reset and wait until next version to get the coins or what? Is the 'praise the sun' achievement available, and if so, can I have a hint on how to get it? I get the reference but am not sure where I should be going to find something praise-able. For the achievement that says you need to get out of somewhere dangerous and avoid getting caught, does that mean I needed to have not been caught once in Mudblood's part of the version? I completed it and I never got the achievement.

Found a bug: I tried to buy TM bulk up from the gallade and it gave me tm flame charge instead. Otherwise, absolutely great game so far. I'm about to Mt. Kora and for a V0.1 it has tons of content and really fun gameplay. Story is quite interesting to. I'll definitely be an avid follower of this game from now on! Always love adding new great fan games to my list of ones to check out often.

I've been checking the development part of the forum a few times a week just waiting for a dev blog to start. I ended up reading another thread that said E17 is 'indev' so was like 'what???', looked around, couldn't find anything, and after maybe 10 minutes of looking I decided to google. TO FIND OUT IT'S AT 100%. May be in heaven.

In V9 Saki says that she did land in Terajuma jungle but someone named something along the lines of Frey helped her, went into the door that you find her in, fought a blue whale (Kyogre or Wailord presumably) and disappeared. Does anyone know who this possibly is? I ask because I don't know if I'm forgetting the name of a major character named something like that and I feel like it's an important piece of lore.

I was just finishing the Blacksteeple section with Nancy when I realized that her trainer name is 'Lingering Regret Nancy', like the name of the ghost Nancy in the Litwick event. Might want to fix that (unless it's not a bug but is actually a lore hint... nope probably not.)

So I know that as of right now Riolu can only be obtained from jackpot starters, and as much as I'd like to get Riolu myself, I don't have the patience to soft reset for like 10 hours. I do however know that it appears to be okay to share save files (from the person who asked for a jangmo-o and got a save file with one a few posts ago), so I was wondering if anyone that has a save file with a Riolu as a starter would be willing to upload it?

Not sure if this is a bug or not but it's more of an inconsistency in the game's naming conventions. After discovering that Terajuma shore was where the elusive sand cloak burmy is found for my ground nuzlocke, I went back to my actual savefile which is stuck on Flora to test if the shore by Darchlight woods would also be sand cloak, but it was not. So whether it's a bug / oversight or not, I'd certainly recommend changing something about that because both are sandy shores which IMO should be a place where burmy would be sand cloak but that isn't the case. Plus, a shore of such doesn't really fit as plant cloak or trash cloak so I'd only assume that it should be sand cloak and that was merely an oversight.

I'm a skeptic that Any Pokemon exist on headbuttable trees on route 2. I tried a ton of times to get pokemon to appear from trees and nothing happened. And even so, I'm totally screwed in this save file. They stopped letting us have a shit ton of backups by default and I forgot to turn it on, so my least recent backup that isn't over 6 badges ago is still on route 7, and since it appears that the cave near route 7 is trash cloak, I can't get a burmy sand cloak, so I'm stuck with the rest of my pokemon. My camerupt could probably take Flora out except she has the most broken gym move in the game with uproot, so I can't set up curses and amnesias to sweep. I tried getting my nidos up but then realized that I have no moon stone. So basically I need someone to get me a way back to Gearen or allow that cave near route 7 to be sand cloak, or I'm just screwed. Edit: So after searching far and wide for a place that would be a sand cloak location, I finally realized that Terajuma shore was the perfect candidate. So I got there on my flying monotype and it was a sand cloak, and I was really sad that there was no accessible shore near route 7 but then I realized that there was that one place with the Samurott, so I got over to my other save file, ran over there, and IT WAS PLANT CLOAK. Not sure if oversight or intentional but omg that drove me up the wall.

1. So I'm looking for a Burmy in nectar woods but I need honey to slather on it, however I have 0 idea where to get said honey. Can anyone help? 2. Since I'm doing a ground monotype I need to change the burmy into sandy cloak before it evolves, but I don't know where I can do this. Has anyone tested the changing of burmy cloaks to find out where they change?

It's been ages since I played through Rejuvenation in full, so I recently started trying to finish my ground type nuzlocke. Amber just got kidnapped by Madelis, so all I remember is that you can save her from Kyogre in the lower floors of valor mountain, however I don't remember if going to her first has any story impact. So is there any downside to saving her? I feel like I've heard that there's repercussions for not saving her but I totally forgot if there's any reason not to.

I was looking for spritzee in the recreation area in Olidroll, ran into a minun, was too slow to escape, and the minun used copycat. It decided to copycat itself using copycat and created and infinite loop of copycatting. Might want to fix that Edit: Also I love the person in the contest area that made a comment on how they saw a mamoswine that did modeling in Kalos.

I haven't played Desolation in a while, and since episode 4 was recently released I decided to try it out (it's amazing by the way). An issue I'm having though is that I'm looking for the move relearner to get my Scizor bullet punch and I don't remember where it is whatsoever. Can anyone remind me? I saw that apparently you talk to the move relearner after the Blackview Battle Pass thing and I'm pretty sure I did that, but I don't know where he went from there.

Jesus! And I thought I was crazy for having like 20+ fully EV trained Pokemon with 1/4-1/3 being shiny and all having decent IVs.

I go on a hiatus of Reborn interaction for a few months since V8 was released and now V9 is almost done, jeez! (Apparently it was not 'a few months' it was like 8 months... whoops.)

Don't worry about it. If you can just get me a 5 IV female snivy I'll be super grateful. Also, don't feel the need to get contrary on it. I can do that myself to save you the trouble FYI- The way hidden power works is based on IVs. It takes the IVs of each stat and makes them into a variable of either even or odd. For example, if you had a 6 IV pokemon all IVs would be odd numbers, making hidden power dark. And there are a multitude of different ways to create different type hidden powers with messing with IVs. But that is insanely difficult to do, so there is no way I'd expect you to do it xD If you want more info about hidden powers, these two links explain it pretty well. http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Hidden_Power_(move)/Calculation http://www.psypokes.com/dex/hp.php And if you see anything about getting a 70 power hidden power, that mechanic was scrapped in generation 6.

If you do hidden power requests, I'd like a Snivy with HP fire (even sp. atk, sp. defense, and atk, other 3 are odd. I don't care about attack at all, special defense is nice but if not possible still don't care. I would like a special attack that's over 10 though.) or HP ground (even sp. atk and sp. def, same rules apply that I mentioned earlier. Other IVs are odd) but obviously that's quite ridiculous and I don't expect you'd want to take the time to do that. Otherwise a more reasonable thing to ask is just for a female Snivy with 5 IVs with the attack being the random IV so I can breed it myself. But since that's also kind of annoying, I'd also take an archeops with head smash. If you can't get a corsola, honestly I'd just take any old 5 IV swellow with an x in special attack. I know it's a long string of 'if you could do this then I'd like it, but if not can you do this, but if not can you do this, etc.' but I don't want to make life too difficult for you Anyways, whatever works for you works. I really like the sentiment of giving back to the community like this, well done! Also, I don't care about the nature on any of them, or the gender on any besides the snivy I mentioned. Anything I didn't specify you can just do randomly.
