Option to switch pokemon upon defeating an enemy
mde2001 replied to XeroFl4sh's topic in Reborn City
You probably changed one of the settings. Go into the menu, then options then change the battle style from set to shift and you'll get the warning about the next pokemon back. -
This is probably your best bet, although it isn't that active. There will be online trading implemented (most likely in E17), but in the meantime, I think this is your best option.

Happy Birthday Viri!!! You're an exceptionally intelligent, thoughtful and caring person and one of the coolest people here. I remember thinking I hoped you would stay around when I read your introduction thread in the Grand Hall, and I'm glad you did (even though you left for a while). You're a talented artist, a deep thinker and a great person, so have a fantastic day!

This video is a guide on where to get both feebas and the prism scale. You can get it at celestinine mountain which is really quite late in the game

I thought Episode 4 was reasonable. It wasn't as good as episode 2, but it was better than 1 and 3. The animation quality had some issues, but I don't think that was a huge issue. I would've loved it if they added Silver in given how important he is in that section of the game, but I understand they can't do everything in 5 minutes. That dragonite is super powerful too.

Happy Birthday to our local destroyer of bugs, Marcello!!! This man has clearly been invaluable help to Ame, Kuro and everyone in the Reborn community through his tireless bug fixing. He gets the job done and E16 will be all the sweeter for him. Not only that, but he's a super great guy who is always fun to chat to! So have a great day Marcello!!!

TFW I really dislike this new Cortana thing on W10. It just gave me a notification saying "Need to know whether you need a jacket, how to say "I love you" in Danish, or how tall is the Sydney Opera House? Just ask" Why would I need to know these things (other than the jacket one but then I could, i dunno, go outside)?

So why does Cain's family live in the wastelands anyway?
mde2001 replied to Monochrome_Complex's topic in Reborn City
Their family also doesn't seem all that sociable, with the exception of Cain. Its possible the mum just didn't want to live around people, so the wasteland didn't bother her. Its also possible its a historical home, and being traditionalists, they didn't move. -
Nope, you can't play it on android nor are there any plans to implement that in the future that I know of. This isn't the best place for this discussion though, so it shouldn't continue in this thread. If you need more questions answered about general Reborn stuff that isn't related to E16 development, the Reborn City subforum is the place for you. --------------------------------- Anyway I'm a bit late to this, but in terms of the discussion about where we're planning to go in Reborn city, I'm going to play through the story first, then explore the Jasper Ward as it will have changed a lot. I'll explore all of them obviously, but my first port of call is gonna be Jasper.

The main reason why I think people shouldn't vote for Jill Stein is that she says some nice stuff, but all of her policies are an incoherent mess. While I might have found some of Sanders' policies a little unrealistic, they at least were policies. If Stein had any actual policies in regards to her ideals, I'd consider her a really strong candidate, but she doesn't. She ignores it, because its easier to sell yourself on a platform of eliminate all student debt, fossil fuels, racial discrimination, injustice, poverty and unemployment when you don't actually have to say how you'd do all of these things. I think that all of those things would be fantastic to get rid of, but in the end it would be incredibly difficult, and she hasn't presented a coherent plan on how to do any of it. I'd agree I haven't been following the Johnson campaign all that closely, and he's been prominently in our news twice (the two massive stuff ups). However, from other stuff I've seen about him, while he doesn't make huge mistakes every time he speaks, he does come off as kind of uninspiring. He is nowhere near as knowledgeable as Clinton and lacks Trump's charisma (I personally don't see Trump as at all charismatic and just find me wanting to punch him through the TV/ computer screen whenever I see him, but he clearly had some kind of charisma to some people). I feel like if he were to take part in the debate he would either make mistakes or just be largely ignored. I also have a bit of sympathy for the idea of protest votes changing a party platform. I would love to see the democrats further to the left than they currently are, and I guess that if protest votes will achieve that, they aren't terrible. However, in the end I think it is more important to elect someone who won't do damaging things to the country and world. I've said it before, and I'll say it again. I would prefer someone like Elizabeth Warren to be the nominee, but Clinton is still exceptionally good in my book. Anyway, in terms of the VP debate, I firstly don't think it matters all that much in terms of who wins, as this year hardly anyone will watch it (or at least the whole thing), just because the candidates aren't that interesting. Both Kaine and Pence are very traditional choices for their parties. Neither of them are particularly charismatic and they both stay on message quite well. It will be interesting to see Pence speak without Trump interrupting him every 2 seconds, but in the end I have no time for the guy. His stance on LGBT issues disgusts me and while he is less insane than Trump, his policies are just as bad. Meanwhile, I quite like Kaine. Sure, he wasn't a particularly interesting choice for Clinton. He's a very safe bet and there's no way he'll be starting any controversies. I generally like his policies and I especially like that the NRA has given him an F grade. As an Australian, it is always nice to see American politicians who aren't afraid to speak out strongly against guns. I'll watch the debate for sure, but I feel like it really won't influence anything that much. With personalities as big as Clinton and Trump as President and personalities as small as Pence and Kaine for VP, there is very little weight left on the VPs. This is no Palin/ Biden situation, where the VPs got an unprecedented amount of attention.

But being the President had to have some form of foreign policy. While he doesn't need to be an expert, at this point I'm beginning to think Johnson hasn't ever picked up a newspaper. He's embarrassing himself every time he speaks, which really leads me to believe being included in the debates would end up going worse for him than staying out of them. I don't necessarily view voting for third parties as throwing away your vote, my problem is when people vote for them to show they aren't happy. If people's political ideology lines up with Johnson or Stein, then sure, they should feel free to vote for them. There's a reason why they let more than 2 people run for President. That being said, I think Bernie supporters who are just showing their anger with Clinton by voting for Stein or Johnson are wasting their vote, because they aren't considering the consequences of their vote. Trump's ideology is the complete opposite of Bernie's, so by saying they're prepared to let Trump in if it stops Clinton they're doing one of two things. They're either showing how anti establishment they are without considering the consequences or they are uninformed about the policy differences and are being caught up in the anti-Clinton sensationalism. I really don't see how anyone who believes in the stuff Bernie believes in can justify considering a Trump presidency better than a Clinton one. Trump is all about the financially elite and is dismissive of Sanders' entire platform, so people who are just acting out to show they're unhappy don't care about the consequences.

Yes, they're in the game and you can find one before the first gym. This guide will list where they all are. They've been changed so they work with hidden abilities as well.

The truth is people complain about Clinton no matter how she acts. When she seems a bit arrogant and holier than thou, people complain. Then when she tries to tone it down and be more relatable, people complain about her acting and trying to trick them into liking her, so she has a hard job. Clinton clearly won the debate, no questions asked and her job was a lot harder than Trump's. MSNBC's list of aims for each candidate kind of sums it up. Clinton had to get jokes off to add levity, be the Clinton who shines in a small crowd and sell how she'd do her ideas. Whereas Trump had to stop lying, show humility and fill in the gaping gaps in his policy proposals. Trump's aims were basic as hell, and things that in most years would be expectations to have already occurred. He managed to fail and getting across any of these even though they were so basic. Meanwhile, I think Clinton did rather well at toning down some things. She had some good one liners in terms of seeming more fun (albeit one absolutely awful trumped-up trickle down joke). So she succeeded in her aims a bit more than Trump's even though hers were a lot harder. That isn't to mention she did all of the things on Trump's list. Her policy was much more coherent, she spoke well, she seemed Presidential and I honestly don't think she came off as all that arrogant. I'm hoping these debates will cause a swing in Clinton's favour. She was coherent, knowledgeable and honest. She was prepared to admit her mistakes and didn't make excuses for them. Meanwhile Trump was out there claiming that his birther movement was good for Obama and people who are facing racial prejudiced/ Really all Trump showed was that he is hopeless and that he really wants us to call Sean Hannity.

So we all know pokemon is fond of roadblocks, where they come up with convenient excuses for you not being able to access areas. Often this is just an HM that you don't have, but sometimes they try to come up with great excuses, and in general they fail massively. I'm going to go with the ones that annoy me in order of generation. Old Man who needs coffee: This one works a little better when he's drunk and he might be scary, but really. Its an old man on the floor being a jerk. I'm pretty sure the character could just walk past him. Gym guide in Pewter City: He flat out forces you to go to the gym because he thinks its a good idea. They don't give any excuse other than, "you should go to the gym, I'm going to take you there." Thirsty Guard: These guys should be fired. They block off the city for some important reason, and then if you give them one drink (which somehow quenches all four of their thirsts, they'll let you through. Footprint guy: This guy is a jerk and an idiot. The doesn't let you cross the path because he thinks he says rare animal tracks, that end up being his own feet. Its so bad its almost funny. Wailmer Training Grunt: Why don't we battle this guy. He's our enemy who is training. Why are we letting him get stronger/ enjoy himself. Just get your manectric and discharge all over his Wailmer. Psyduck: These Psyduck could be walked over or moved. They're tiny and not that strong. Also the fact that Cynthia decides to wait until she sees you to give you the medicine, rather than just using it on them herself seems odd to me. Sunnyshore City Blackout: Sure, the city relies on its light, but why aren't you letting me onto the route at least? Are you saying we need to have light in Sunnyshore city to go see the pikachu house? Dancing Men: I kind of like this one to be honest, as it is very self aware, but I feel like it has to be on here as it really makes no sense. I still love it though. Lumiose Blackout: Its the middle of the day. The power plant that's having issues is no where near where I'm going. Some of the lights in the other half of the city are still on. You're letting other people go through. Why do you hate me construction worker. Anyway, those are the ones I feel are the worst done (I realise it is a lot of them, but there are a few which I like such as Snorlax and Sudowoodo). I also had some memory of this topic existing before, but I couldn't find it anywhere, so I think it hasn't been done before.

Happy Birthday fellow Aussie! I really don't know you all that well, but your fan game looked promising and from the times I've seen you around you seem pretty nice! Have a great day!

Being obsessed and passionate about something isn't a problem until it starts getting in the way of you doing what you need to do. From what I can see this isn't the case with you, you just really enjoy something, which isn't a problem. If you're forgetting to do whatever work you need to do, to eat, to sleep or anything like that, you might need to tome it down a bit, but given that that doesn't seem to be the case you don't have an issue. Having an imagination is healthy and therefore putting yourself into situations with stories and franchises you enjoy is to be expected. So pretty much, don't worry. You're fine. There are plenty of worse things to be addicted to than pokemon.

His a trainer, who should be battleable on some days of the week once you get past the third badge.

Oshawott for me. Then probably stoutland and chandelure.

Ame said in one of the updates in the thread that we'd be saying goodbye to a character forever, so we're pretty sure that means someone is gonna die.

Happy Birthday Renzo! I don't really know you that well, but you're active enough that I've seen bits of you around the place, and you seem really cool! I hope you have a great day!
