  1. I really enjoyed episode 9. The battle was well animated and took about the right amount of time and the journalists sneaking around was cool. Episode 10 was really creepy. I wonder if they're going to continue the story in another episode because it felt like it had more to give.
  2. If you've made it to Agate you've gone too far in the story to get the growlithe. The event stops existing after you get 9 badges. I'm going to move this over to Reborn City as it isn't a bug issue.
  3. You don't have to save there, but yes in order to continue the story you must return to that tent with Ciel. Therefore you will most likely have to fly back into the city to progress. I guess you could technically fly to Spinel Town or something then walk in through the gates, but that seems like a waste of time. Ame might have also added an event that makes you fly. I don't know really.
  4. I'm a big fan of the latest trailer in general. I don't hate Incinaroar as much now I've seen it animated. Strangely enough I thought the still images of Decidueye looked better than the animated ones. I'm definitely picking Poplio now, I really love the way Primarina looks. The signature move looks kinda dumb, but I'm hoping it operates like smelling salts where its BP doubles if the opponent has a burn.
  5. Today my christian education teacher tried to convince the class the pro choice movement were trying to abort babies after they had already been born. God he is a stupid man.
  6. Cereal is all bad. It is the worst kind of breakfast food. If I have to have any kind of cereal I'll have museli. At least that's healthy and it doesn't taste too awful. All of those packet brands are really gross to me (and I don't recognise all of them because they aren't all sold here).
  7. People care about politics because if everyone took that mindset we'd have huge issues. One vote doesn't change the course of an election, but if everyone starts to think their vote isn't worth a lot then the whole system is screwed. Its up to individuals to get educated about these things and vote for the candidate they believe in. Pets might give you attention but in the end they aren't the ones who are making huge decisions for you country. Politicians get to decide on taxes, wars, marriage equality, gun control, gender identity laws, appoint/ block people to the supreme court, public education and a whole host of other important things. Caring about politics means you care about those issues and your country's stance on them. Government corruption is a thing and you can say that voting is useless, but I'd like you to see a country where voting isn't an option. Something tells me you wouldn't enjoy it all that much. People all over the world are fighting for their right to vote and if you're lucky enough to live in a country where that is a right you have, I don't think you should squander it yourself, let alone go out and actively tell other people to squander it and that they shouldn't care. Every political system has problems and politicians don't always do what their voters want, but that doesn't invalidate politics as a whole. You don't have to care, no-one can or should try to make you become super involved, but don't go around telling people they shouldn't care. Everyone has their own interests and things they care about and if politics happens to be one of ours then that isn't your problem. Honestly there are a lot of less important things to care about than world events and the people who are in charge of some of the world's superpowers.
  8. I really doubt we'll get a pseudo in exchange for beldum. The whole point of moving it back is because it was too powerful for that point of the game so it isn't going to be an exchange thing. I doubt we'll be seeing any new pseudos for a while.
  9. I just thought you should know that the mystery egg will always give the marill line if your save file was started in an episode before E15 though. The variable to make it a mystery egg was never defined. So if you like azumarill getting the egg is worth it but if you wanted a chance at another pokemon you're out of luck.
  10. mde2001

    Cottonee

It can also be found in the mystery egg but that's only a 1/18 chance. In future this thread can help you find pokemon you're searching for.

    cant switch?

Go into options and change your battle style from set to shift and you'll get the ability to switch in between KOs again.
  12. I thought this episode was possibly the coolest one yet. Kyogre was cool and I would love it if it could fly usually. It also has no problem just going to eat Archie. Team Aqua was done really well and I found them really believable.
  13. This looks really cool. Now I'm conflicted over whether to get it. Still I probably won't get it earlier on in the release as I still don't think I'll have enough time to justify a whole new console.
  14. Wow! Amethyst cave looks so much cooler now. It was my least favourite area in the game, but now it looks fantastic. Nim's sprite was also one of the blander ones and now she's looking really cool.
  15. I'm just not finding a way to be that excited about the NX yet. If its super cool then sure that'll be exciting, but I don't think I'll get it straight away. It probably won't be released until half way through next year and by that point I'll only have a year and a half of school to go and won't have time to use it enough to justify buying a new console. So probably the earliest I'd get it is Christmas 2018. Still, hopefully its a good console though. I'm gonna be really pissed if they go with it having both a handheld bit and screen and they stop making DS games and force you to buy an NX as the handheld console.
  16. Okay, way too much stuff has been said for me to cover and a lot of it has been straying from the original points of discussion in this thread- although that is always the nature of politics. So I'm not really responding to individuals in general here but more stuff that has been said. Others have covered this, but it is no-one's right to tell someone else how and when they should come out about a sexual abuse. It doesn't matter whether it was a long time ago, that doesn't make the assault any less real. There's a reason why they're all coming out at once, and its because he has created an environment where they can speak and be taken seriously. This is actually incredibly common all over the world. Just look at some of the stuff that's been going on about sexual abuse in the church recently. With things such as Royal Commissions, victims are being given an opportunity to speak out, and opportunity that they had been denied up until this point. Until they are given such opportunities, people don't take them seriously and if they ever take it to a court challenge they would be overwhelmed by the economic dominance of the abuser. While it is likely some of the allegations are false, I find it incredibly hard to believe every single one of them is made up, especially given their actions are backed up by Trump's words. Tweets do matter, no so much from the supporters and I can't blame Trump for some idiots trying to get rid of a woman's right to vote, but the things he posts himself matter. Through them he reveals how impulsive he is and it is also a way of communicating without any advice from his aides. His impulses are nasty, egotistical and aggressive, and he's shown himself to be a bully with really thin skin. Similarly, using the GOP website as a fact checker on Hillary Clinton's emails and saying it is more reliable Politifact is kind of ridiculous. One of them is running in the race and has an interest in the outcome of the election while the other is an independent fact checker that is considered pretty reliable by all sides of politics. Clinton and Obama's refusal to use the phrase Islamic terrorist isn't an issue. Pretty much every expert on the politics of the region agree that by making the association between terrorism and Islam, you are strengthening the issue there. If people don't recognise it as an outlier group of people who don't represent the views of proper Islam, is causes more discrimination and Islamophobia and Islamophobia makes ISIS stronger. The best way to radicalise a group of young Muslims is to have a society that is so toxic to them that they have nowhere left to turn. Trump and his supporters are going around acting like they're denying an issue exists when what they are actually doing is trying to make the situation better. Trump is Islamophobic. Nowhere in that article you linked did it prove Clinton wanted it to be a white man, she just wished it hadn't been someone who identified as a Muslim, because she knew the right would use it as a weapon against a peaceful religion. Finally, in regard to those ground breaking video you linked, I honestly can't take them seriously. James O'Keefe (they guy who runs it) is a conspiracy theorist with a good camera and a blatant disregard for the law. Whenever he finds a small fact he'll blow it out of proportion to a level where any research he might have done in the first place. In almost every case the shocking news he's reported has been found to have been wildly exaggerated or false. Honestly, I get why people are going to take these videos seriously, but seriously, why would you. If the Democrats have been frauding the elections for 50 years then why have they lost so often? They hated Bush, they wouldn't have let him have a second term if it was a thing.
  17. You don't need an event for Swablu. Its already available with headbutt.
  18. @FairFamily- I don't think it is reasonable for Trump to ask an independent satire show to be taken down during an election campaign. No-one watching the show thinks its Trump, nor do they think its a news show. People watch it for entertainment, and if Trump honestly believes its SNL that is costing him the election, he's kidding himself. People are not going to vote based on an SNL sketch, they're going to vote on who Trump is himself, and honestly he's pretty similar to the character they portray him as. People aren't turning away from him because his SNL character is a sleazy bully, they're turning away from him because he is a sleazy bully. Even if the show itself was costing him votes, he still doesn't have the right to shut it down, and same goes for Clinton. Media, especially when it isn't government funded, should never be controlled by what political figures want. They aren't rigging the election they're representing it in a comical light, and if that's portraying Donald Trump badly, that's his problem. Oh, I haven't really been reading many articles on it- most of this comes from my head. However I have been reading stuff on the effects of voter fraud and multiple studies have shown it really is a non-issue and won't effect an election (see here for an example on such an article). I really don't think Trump could work with both sides of politics based on him being a real person. He's so bad at controlling his tongue that his own party leadership is beginning to dis-endorse him and he disgusts most democrats. Realistically the only people he'd have backing him in Congress are the Tea Party Candidates. In comparison, Clinton has years and years of experience working on bipartisan deals, and she is much more appealing to central Republicans than Trump is to central democrats. Also I think people are too excited about someone whose not a politician being President. Being President is a political job, and important one, but in the end they are going to have to make difficult political decisions. Politics seems to be the one job where being unqualified and inexperienced earns you the approval of some people. Also, even if we want to go with, we want a man/woman of the people, Trump doesn't fit the bill unless if the people are real estate magnates who live in giant towers with their name written on them and have a house made out of gold. The right doesn't have very many credible news outlets, which is a problem for them I think. Fox News isn't a news sight, its a conspiracy show where they blatantly make up things constantly. In Australia we have newspapers that people respect on both sides of politics and that does render the debate over things more even. However, that being said, people not taking fox news seriously isn't media freedom, and honestly I think you'd like to see a country that doesn't have it if you think yours is non existent. There are countries where every story from every form of media is shown to government officers, who remove anything that doesn't suit their agenda. Anyone who tries to speak out against this are arrested or killed. Countries like that would kill to have Americas level of media freedom, so really I don't think that just because the left dominates it it is a complete joke. And let's be clear about the 2 minutes of his life that as recorded. It showed him not only being sexist, but showing off about sexual abuse. I'm not a fan of sexism, but its nowhere near as damaging as groping random women. Especially given it was not just talk and a plethora of women have said he abused them in these very ways. There was a lot of reporting on Clinton's stuff when it was relevant. However she has been found to have committed no crimes with her email server and Benghazi and, while the wikileaks scandal wasn't great it got its run time and became largely irrelevant once Bernie endorsed her.
  19. I've always really disliked Trump, but over the last few weeks he's concerned me more and more. There's all of the sexual abuse stuff, which disgusts me, but I'm not going to go into detail of it here as I don't want to get into anything past the acceptable line of content for the forum at large. There are two more recent things that are really concerning to me and I don't feel like either of them are being treated as seriously as they are. First we have the drug test thing in combination with the election rigging. Trump realises he's losing and he's desperate to rally support, but he's doing it in a dangerous way. The "If I don't win the opposition cheated logic," is petty when its used by primary school students but its even worse from a Presidential candidate. First off, debate performance enhancing drugs don't exist. Even some of his supporters realise this and told him that, so he began to shy away from it, but the issue of accusing Hillary of cheating is a dangerous one. Democracy relies on both candidates and their supporters accepting the result of the election. The more Trump spreads around his fraud conspiracy theories the more dangerous the possible outcome is. If a large enough percentage of his supporters refuse to accept the result of the election America could be in real strife. Trump supporters, particularly the group that is so dedicated they'll believe that electoral fraud, which has been proven to not be a factor, is to blame for their loss, have proven themselves to be prepared to use violence against those who they oppose. Now I'm not saying an armed militia will rise and attempt to take over the white house, but I think there will undoubtedly be a subset of crazy people who want to show their displeasure violently. While Trump won't endorse any of this, he will have created an environment where people find it acceptable. There are always going to be some people who are opposed to the result of the election, but when he is actively telling his supporters that Clinton is going to cheat (as well as telling them to illegally monitor polling stations) he's creating a really dangerous culture that isn't healthy for democracy. Secondly, we have his assertion that SNL should be cancelled. I'm a huge SNL fan, but the reason this upsets me isn't because I love the show, its because of the precedent it sets. The whole thing was caused by the series of hilarious debate sketches. They critisised both candidates, but it is fair to say that Trump comes out looking like the worse candidate. I'm not saying he should like the sketches, but campaigning to cancel the show over them is dangerous. Media freedom is incredibly important in a democracy. The idea that a show should be taken off the air because it critisised you is a really dangerous concept. It's the language of dictators not democratically elected leaders. SNL is a show that has poked fun at so many major political figures, including Hillary Clinton. They are not a news outlet, they don't receive taxpayer funding and there is absolutely nothing that says they have to be completely neutral. Trump is being completely pathetic by arguing that the show should have to die because it was mean to him. He's running for President. If he gets in, people are going to critisise him including foreign leaders and probably the UN. If his response to a comedy TV show critisising him is to take it off the air, I'd hate to see how he'd respond to the UNHCR or something like that. I couldn't stand Sarah Palin, but even when she was being criticised more reguarly on SNL than pretty much anyone else in history, she didn't ask for the show to be cancelled. She probably didn't enjoy the skits but she recognised it was comedy and they had a right to say the things they were saying. Trump, despite his condemnation of people who get offended at everything, got upset over a sketch and his response was media suppression. Trump is so obsessed with pandering to the NRA about the second amendment that he seems to have forgotten about the first. The media has a right to be independent and satire shows shouldn't be threatened if they chose to satirise a figure of authority. I honestly believe that to be true. Fox News disgusts me and I can't stand their content, but I think they shouldn't be taken off the air. You can disagree with something without shamelessly violating media freedoms. Anyway, at this point I'm just ranting. I'm interested to hear other people's thoughts. Please try to keep it civil guys! I know these topics are kind of sensitive but they deserve discussion and I'd hate to see another political discussion thread be derailed into insults.
  20. Oh, I forgot to mention you have to give all the pokemon you catch back after the contest finishes >>
  21. Okay I've been playing the demo a bit and here are my thoughts so far (putting in spoiler tag in case you don't wanna read them).
  22. The badge order there changes every episode to keep us guessing. That means nothing.
  23. Its totally Alolan Mawile More seriously, I agree with ICSW and think its a Pyukumuku evolution. It looks pretty cool and seems like it would probably be water/grass or water/posion
  24. I'm so unimpressed by what that guy did, and honestly I feel like he's grasping at straws. He barely speaks Japanese and thinks he might have recognised the word to come out therefore Masuda confirmed the starters. Honestly I have no respect for his actions and don't think they've confirmed or even made the leaked starters any more likely.
  25. There is already a thread focusing on this topic that can be found here. I understand why you didn't find it as it is pretty old but we do have the Directory to help out with these things. You won't ever be warned for bumping threads found within that directory and we in fact encourage it to reduce clutter (note that that advice is specific to the PFC, in general its better to make new topics than revive old ones) Therefore I'm locking this thread, but feel free to revive the older one by copy and pasting your post here into it.
