Indeed, it won't be so easy to burn. First because you can burn it only at stage 3 and higher, giving some time to grass types to boost. And at higher stages, Grass and Bug types become so powerful (and fast if they have Chlorophyll) that they may kill you before you can burn it. Second because if your opponents are not stupid, they will use Rain Dance to prevent you from burning it
-
I love how you tell people to just burn after spending so much time to create it xD. But properly used, this field makes you almost invincible, so it's time to train some new Grass types !

Have you talked to Charlotte, Ana and the others in the underground railnet ? Above the bridge between Opal and the grand stairway, where you can catch Woobat
-
Wow, I didn't thought Peridot would become so green. And Coral, around the new gym, it's more a garden than a street now x) It's strange to think Reborn will be beautiful now

Yeah, once back to route 2 put a Crustle there, it's much faster this way. So, from where there's a missing Crustle, go south following the river. When you can't go south, you should be in a place with a dive spot on the west and long stairs on the east. Go to the stairs. They lead you to an icy place. Cross it and you should find a ladder to a lower floor. Go to this lower floor then just follow the river
-
Hard to tell you where to go since we don't know where you are exactly in Ametrine, but the global advice I can give you is to follow the river, it will lead you to the exit

6 types are never combined with Bug in canon games : Normal, Psychic, Dragon, Ice, Dark and Fairy. 4 of them are already in Se7en : Normal (Colourva line), Psychic (Lunarpilla), Dark (Lucifly line) and Fairy (Elftik (by the way is it already possible to evolve it ?)). Which leaves only Ice and Dragon. Both can be dangerous for farmers. Dragons because they tend to destroy everything but it's not specific to farmers. Ice because a cold weather is usually really bad for crops, so this one is more specific to farmers. But how can they be used in a good way ? If it's a mantis with scythe-like arms, it could replace a plow, and this would rather correspond to a Dragon. Now the name itself, Hexatis, sounds more like something powerful, like a Dragon, than an Ice type. But since Hexatis is the first form, a pure Bug, I guess it means nothing. Pure bug for the first two forms. A powerful typing only once evolved. Here again it sounds like a Dragon. Hard to imagine you simply get frozen when you evolve, but becoming a powerful beast, a Dragon, this sounds more natural. But all this part is purely speculative since we don't know anything about the appearance of the background of the pokemon. There's one last thing that can help us : Tinted Lens can be very useful with its final form. For whose who don't remember, Tinted Lens doubles the power of non very effective moves. So lets look at the types resisting Dragon and Ice. Only Steel resist Dragon (Fairies are immune, and since 2x0=0 Tinted Lens is useless here). While Ice is resisted by 4 types : Ice, Water, Steel and Fire. According to this, Tinted Lens is almost useless for a Dragon, but quite useful for Ice. So I would rather bet on Ice, since we have some real elements leading to this conclusion

Mist is a fairy themed field, but it doesn't really boost them. Fairies are already immune to Dragon and resistant to Dark, so why bother weaken them if you want to protect a Fairy ? This field is good for tanks (Cosmic power + wish boosted) but I'm not sure it would really be so usefull to Adrienn. So maybe we'll have a new field for fairies indeed

Originally Terra was just a shy student in Beryl. She "got bored" as she say and become a clown. She's insane by choice, not by nature. And don't forget she's a super hacker, so she can do logical and complex things if she wants, so I'm not surprised that she's sane in her diary. M3G4 T3RR4 is mainly for the show

There's a linkstone in Ametrine mountain, near the abomasite, so you can get your Kingdra before beating Ciel. And Strengh is quite good for Diggersby, especially against Ciel since it's a high striker move that will always be boosted at max by the field thanks to Huge Power
-
Actually, IV are not really important in Reborn. An Archeops with bad IV is still much better than a Swanna in my opinion. Better worry about EV. But if you want a physical attacker than can resist water, a good possibility is Kingdra. At this point you can get Horsea by fishing in Ametrine. Find one with a dragon scale to evolve Seadra into Kingdra and you'll have a powerfull water/dragon (don't bother catching dozens of Horsea, just catch one then attack others with Thief) with Dragon Dance, Dive (for now then Waterfall later), Outrage,... Or you can go for a Sniper with Focus Energy and a Scope Lens. And I would rather replace Serperior for now, since the next leader you'll face is Charlotte. After that, well, it's not rare in Reborn to have more than 6 pokemons and switch for the most usefull one at that time

If you go for Cosmic Power, you should think about Lucky Chant. The base probability of critical hits is 1 every 14 hits. If you take 6 turns for Cosmic Power + 2 turns for heal, the probability that you take a critical hit that will ignore your defense boosts is more than 50%. You lose a damaging move and if you keep Stored Power you can beat dark types, but too often I lost a fully boosted Clefable due to critical hits Or you replace Moonlight and use items instead. More expensive but you can your damaging moves
-
To be exact, the probability is 700/65536, which is equal to 1,07 % usually rounded to 1%

Better than minimize I think : Cosmic Power. With max evasion you're still hit by 1/3 of moves which can still be too much when your opponent hits really hard or has super effective moves, I tried Reflect on a Dragalge and it doesn't really work. While with Cosmic Power you're able to tank even super effective moves, and since it boosts def and sp def, you can get up to 12 boosts, so 260 base power for Stored Power. I use a Clefable like that in OU on Showdown, with Cosmic Power, Stored Power, Moonlight and Lucky Chant (because critical hits would ignore your boosts and kill you) and if you can set it up which should be easier in Reborn, it's a nightmare

[Answered] First time EV training - is this correct?
Imperial replied to unibrower's topic in Team Showcase
After the 8th badge you'll be able to change the nature of your pokemon in exchange for a heartscale. If you have a Metang, it means you're going to face or have already beaten Radomus, so don't worry about natures, it won't be a problem soon. -
[Answered] First time EV training - is this correct?
Imperial replied to unibrower's topic in Team Showcase
The calculation for HP is different than for other stats so I'm not sure for this one, but it's the same for all other stats. Also, some tips to make EV training faster : don't bother with fighting just one pokemon in a whole team, it takes too much time. For attack EV, the best is probably to fight Goldeen in the secret pool in Peridot using the old rod. And if you want to train another stat, let's take HP for this example, just give your Metang the power weight that gives HP EV then keep fighting Goldeen. That way each time you kill a Goldeen, you get 1 EV attack and 4 EV HP, so no unwanted EV. There are Finneon that give HP in the pool too. Train HP first to slightly increase attack too, then finish attack EV. I trained a lot of pokemons that way and trust me, it's much faster. For the choice of the last stat to train, well 70 base stat isn't great, but with EV training you will still be able to outspeed many pokemons, and when you're outspeed you'll still be bulky enough without EV to stand a few hits. While if you increase your bulk, well, you'll be able to take a few hits more, but if all your ennemies are faster than you and so attack you, your bulk boost won't help you much. I would say it depends on your team. Personnaly I prefer fast hitters, but if you already have some, a bulky mon can save you when facing a opponent faster than your fastest mons and that can OHKO you. And against gym leaders this will probably happen -
For Escavalier, there's someone in a building in Spinel town with who you can trade one of the bugs for the other to get the evolution. But I guess you won't get your shiny back that way. And for Dratini, it's not supposed to be available yet since you need to enter Ametrine from Reborn city to reach it but I saw there is a glitch to move a stone blocking the way
-
It also depends on how you play. For a normal run where you can have various pokemon of course it's easier but not so much. If like me you try a mono dragon run on Reborn hardcore, with just a deino and a noibat at the beginning... Well, I had to EV train speed just to make possible to beat Florinia. In general for mono runs where you're limited in your choice of pokemon, it can make things much easier since you can improve pokemons that would be too weak otherwise

Edit: Tweaked Shiny Pokemon!! (Accepting Suggestions)
Imperial replied to Azuuure's topic in Reborn City
I tried to make the Jellicent line. Since Reborn's shinies were already purple, I tried something else I also made Ninetales, Kingdra and Talonflame's lines some time ago if someone is interested -
I remember seeing an app, Neko RPGXP player, which might work. It's not supposed to work with custom scripts, but the developper tried to make it work for pokemon essentials games I think. It didn't work for me, but I tried an old galaxy S2 still using Android 2, so it may worth a try on a more recent phone

A friend asked me to come to Paris for her house-warming this weekend. Glad I couldn't. Glad she's ok too. But the problem isn't border policies or spying on people. Most terrorists in France are French, radicalized by islamist propaganda. Border policies are useless against that. The real problem is that Occidental countries let extremists, Daesh (what you call ISIS I guess), grow stronger and stronger over the past years, without serious action against them. And now they're strong enough to do things like this. It reminds me how European countries let Germany grow stronger and stronger and start invading countries before WWII, in a good part because after WWI they feared a new war so much that they didn't acted until Germany was too strong for them... We need to destroy them, completely. Not just a few training camps for "peacekeeping". People may fear a war, but we're already in a war. If we keep waiting, we will only let them grow stronger and kill more people, just to finally make this war. Many more attacks will probably happen if we do so, people will die, but if we don't do anything it will only get worse...
